MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell released details about his free speech platform that is intended to be a combination of YouTube and Twitter, adding that no one will be able to take it down from the internet.

Lindell released a video detailing some of the features of his platform, which is called "Frank Speech." The video can be seen on his website Frankspeech.com.

You can now sign up for VIP access to Frank, the social-media site being launched by MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell.

Team of American and Chinese Scientists Announces Human-Monkey Hybrids Have Been Created

A team of U.S. and Chinese scientists have produced a series of human-monkey hybrid embryos in a study released Thursday that is raising critical bioethical questions about its experiments and their implications.

In the study funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and published in the journal Cell, scientists took six-day-old macaque monkey embryos and injected 25 human cells into each of them.

One day following the injections, human cells were found alive in 132 of the hybrid embryos. Ten days later, 103 of them were still alive and growing. However, survival rates started dropping to the point that by day 19, only three of them were alive. The embryos that did survive, however, had a high percentage of human cells in their mix.

The researchers conducted this study as part of an effort to discover new methods of creating organs for those in need of transplants.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The superintendent of the Florida school district where 17 students and staff died in a 2018 high school massacre was arrested Wednesday on a perjury charge.

Broward County Schools Superintendent Robert Runcie was arrested by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, county jail records show.

FDLE spokeswoman Gretl Plessinger said no further information was immediately available and it was not known if the arrest is connected to the investigation that followed the Feb. 14, 2018, shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

Jail records do not show if Runcie, 59, has an attorney. The school district did not immediately respond to an email seeking comment.

In total, seven seats shifted affecting 13 states. Colorado, Florida, Montana, North Carolina and Oregon each gained one seat in addition to Texas. California, Illinois, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia each lost one seat.

The shift could affect the 2022 midterm elections and whether Democrats can hold onto control of the House, where they hold a narrow majority. 

States that gained seats were mostly Republican-leaning, with Texas, Florida, Montana and North Carolina each voting for former President Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election. North Carolina was one of the closer races, with Trump defeating President Joe Biden by less than 1.5%. Oregon and Colorado, meanwhile, were solidly blue states in the last election.

States that lost seats were mostly Democratic, but consist of more close battleground states. California, Illinois and New York were solidly in Biden’s column; Michigan and Pennsylvania were closer swing states with slim margins for the president. Trump prevailed in Ohio and West Virginia.

Here's a look at the changes in population among the largest states in the nation. New York had the largest decline between 2019 and 2020, continuing a trend.

A Barrie Police Service member has been charged and suspended after a video circulated of a violent downtown Barrie arrest of a 20-year-old man in February. No word on whether the CBC employee who assisted in the illegal arrest will avoid the same consequences.

An Ontario Provincial Police press release on Thursday confirmed Barrie police Const. Jason Stamp was arrested and charged with assault and assault with a weapon following an investigation by the OPP. Stamp is an 18-year veteran of the force.

According to CBC, Barrie police confirmed that in accordance with the Police Services Act, Stamp has been suspended with pay.

'What is the real number of people who apparently have been killed or injured?'

Fox News host Tucker Carlson prompted a sharp reaction from critics Wednesday night after addressing the issue of how many people have died after receiving a COVID-19 vaccine.

Carlson explained he is "completely in favor of vulnerable people taking vaccines" (The CDC profile is a person older than 70 with an average of 2.6 "comorbidities," such as diabetes and heart disease). But he argued that the vast majority of the population, with a survival rate of more than 99%, should have as much information as possible to make a risk assessment.

In a typical flu season, more than 160 million Americans are vaccinated and only a small number die after receiving a shot. in 2019, it was 203 people and in 2018 it was 119.

"Every death is tragic, but big picture, we don’t consider those numbers disqualifying," he said. "We keep giving flu shots, and very few people complain about it."

The Justice Department under former President Donald Trump seized phone records from at least three Washington Post journalists, according to the newspaper.

The revelation prompted the news outlet to demand an explanation for the "intrusion" that raises serious First Amendment issues, to which the agency, now under the Biden administration, indicated was meant to crack down on leaks of classified information.

Three separate letters dated Monday addressed to Ellen Nakashima, Greg Miller, and Adam Entous notified them that the department "received toll records associated with the following telephone numbers for the period from April 15, 2017 to July 31, 2017" through use of subpoena power, the Washington Post reported on Friday.

The letters showed cellphone and work phone numbers tied to the reporters. The phone records show caller history and how long calls lasted but did not contain what was said. The letters also said the Justice Department got a court order to obtain their email records but did not get them.

The Friday report notes that during the targeted time period was when the journalists were reporting on Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Nakashima and Miller still report for the outlet, while Entous has moved on to the New Yorker.

"We are deeply troubled by this use of government power to seek access to the communications of journalists," said Cameron Barr, the Washington Post's acting executive editor. "The Department of Justice should immediately make clear its reasons for this intrusion into the activities of reporters doing their jobs, an activity protected under the First Amendment.

In response to the revelations, the Justice Department generally described the process by which it would seek such records for a criminal leaks investigation.

"While rare, the Department follows the established procedures within its media guidelines policy when seeking legal process to obtain telephone toll records and non-content email records from media members as part of a criminal investigation into unauthorized disclosure of classified information," Marc Raimondi, a spokesman for the Justice Department, told the outlet.

Raimondi added the "targets" of such investigations are not news media recipients,but rather the inquiries are for those with access to national defense information who provided it to the media and "thus failed to protect it as lawfully required

The report said the letters do not mention when the agency leadership approved the effort to seek the journalists' records but cited aDOJ spokesperson who said the decision was made in 2020.William Barrwho was attorney general throughout that year until just before Christmas, declined comment to the outlet.
