U.S. Central Command @CENTCOM - At 7:15 p.m. ET today, U.S. Central Command forces began launching the third round of strikes this week against Iran after Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps forces blatantly attacked M/V GFS Galaxy, a Cyprus-flagged container ship transiting the Strait of Hormuz. A civilian crew member is missing and the vessel is unable to continue the journey due to an onboard fire and significant engineroom damage.
Iran was provided yet another opportunity to demonstrate adherence to the Memorandum of Understanding after being held accountable for earlier attacks on commercial vessels but has again failed.
In response, the United States is imposing a heavy cost by continuing to degrade Iran’s ability to attack civilian mariners and commercial ships freely transiting the strait. The strikes are being carried out at the direction of the Commander in Chief.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement @ICEgov - 68-year-old Santa Monica man Gregory John Curcio admitted to doxing an ICE attorney by publicly identifying her as an ICE agent, posting her home address and directing others on social media to “swat” her using that address in Feb. 2025.
Swatting is harassment that often involves placing false emergency calls to law enforcement to prompt a significant law enforcement response.
The victim told authorities that Curcio is a former resident at her mother’s apartment building in Santa Monica. She said she never met Curcio, but he had harassed and threatened her mother for years.
The complaint alleges that Curcio made false allegations and engaged in a campaign to harass the victim and her family beginning from at least January 2024.
Curcio faces a statutory maximum sentence of five years in prison at his Aug. 21 sentencing.

Each priority area of foreign policy will be assigned to a specific person with substantial experience who is capable of implementing what we agree on at the leaders’ level and what the Ukrainian people expect. The most important of these areas include the United States and our agreements on licenses to manufacture Patriot systems, as well as other bilateral security cooperation, which must translate into clear gains for our countries and for Ukrainian and American companies; the European antiballistic project, which could become one of the most significant steps to strengthen Europe this decade; the European Union, where we need clear progress toward Ukraine’s membership and deeper ties in every area – economic, political, and cultural; Ukraine’s neighboring countries, relations with which require a new foundation, especially Poland and Hungary; the Middle East and Gulf region as one of the most promising global areas for security and economic cooperation; China; and key international organizations that influence global decisions and can do more to help end Russia’s war against Ukraine
The same applies to our domestic work. There are new challenges and new tasks. All work in Ukraine’s frontline and border regions, which come under Russian attack every day, must be significantly strengthened. I expect increased supplies of the weapons our army needs, including all types of drones.
Preparing for winter is an extremely important priority, and Ukraine must be ready for every threat that may arise. The transformation of state-owned companies, on which Ukraine’s resilience significantly depends, must be accelerated. Ukraine’s agreements with its partners on recovery also require separate and focused attention. Accordingly, personnel changes will begin in Ukraine to ensure the implementation of the updated political strategy. We discussed the details with Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko. We determined that these changes require a renewal of the Cabinet of Ministers. I am grateful to Yuliia for her clear, steady, and effective work as Prime Minister, for her years of productive service on Ukraine’s team, and I have offered her the opportunity to lead a new and important area of relations with a key partner. I expect that, together with MPs, we will make the corresponding changes in the Government of Ukraine. There will also be changes among the heads of law enforcement agencies.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
A convicted child sex offender is no longer in our country thanks to President Donald J. Trump and his Administration defeating a sick attempt by Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison to lend him safe harbor in the so-called “sanctuary” state.
Laotian national Tou Lue Vang was convicted of repeatedly sexually abusing a 10-year-old girl in Minnesota, which he excused as a “minor thing” and blamed it on “cultural norms” in foreign countries. An immigration judge ordered his removal in 2006.
In a brazen effort to shield the criminal illegal alien predator from imminent deportation, Walz and Ellison pardoned him protecting an illegal alien child sex abuser over the American citizens they supposedly represent.
The Trump Administration rejected this outrageous affront to justice. Secretary of State Marco Rubio terminated Vang’s legal status and the Department of Homeland Security deported him immediately.
This case exposes the depravity of the Radical Left: they will literally pardon child rapists and defy federal law to protect criminal illegals. Walz and Ellison stood with a monster who preyed on a 10-year-old girl; the Trump Administration stands with American families.
Under President Trump, criminal illegal aliens who rape children will be found, arrested, and removed and Democrat politicians will not stand in the way.

KT, there are huge posters now - we're not even going to show them -  but there are huge posters all over Tehran calling for Trump's death, one offering a reward for his killing. How should we respond to this?
This is really direct now, like it never has been before.

KT McFarlan: You know, I've worked for four presidents, and they've always, you know, assassination attempts come with the job. I even worked for Reagan when he almost died from an assassination attempt.
But President Trump, he's really fatalistic about it, and he's not fazed by it.
And even when he was in Ankara, Turkey, he said, "look, it comes with the job. They've tried. I'm the number one target of any assassin in the world."
And so he's in a very unique position.
Not only is it that Trump derangement syndrome American potential assassins, but it's now coming from Iran, from the country of Iran.
I just think, what do you do about it?
You make sure that the government of Iran going forward, whatever the deal is, whenever the deal is, can police its own.
And you also make sure that the Secret Service is just as good as it can be.
And you continue to have a strong relationship with Israeli intelligence because they're the best in the world.

I mean, if it had, you know, for all those people who dump on Israel, of course, a lot of them don't care about Donald Trump.
But the fact is, is that it was that Israeli intelligence, apparently, that that prevented this attack or prevented the execution of it.
And that's that's really a good ally when they can they can help prevent an assassination.
Meanwhile, you do have despite all this, you have the idea of the talks continuing.
And there does seem to be a tension now in the White House between VP Vance, who we know is pushing for more negotiations, and Secretary of State Rubio, who says "enough is enough."
Which is what Donald Trump seemed to be saying in the middle of the week, in the beginning of the week.
Is Trump using this as kind of a "good cop, bad cop" negotiating tool?

KT McFarlan: Yeah, I mean, Trump likes to listen to all people, but Trump is the only guy he's a decider in chief. He makes the decision. And even if nobody recommends a decision, he'll take it.
What I thought was really interesting, David, is what Lauren was just saying about the price of oil.
Watch how the negotiations have affected the price of oil. So before the war, it was about seventy dollars a barrel.
When the war started. It goes up to about $120 a barrel.
And that was that was putting a lot of pressure on the world economy and gasoline prices in the United States, et cetera.
Then you have this ceasefire and price of oil goes way back down, down to about seventy. A
nd now where are we? What did Lauren just say?
$76 dollars a barrel.

David Asman: No, no, no, no, no, no.
$72 dollars a barrel.

KT McFarlan: OK, seventy two dollars a barrel. Seventy six yesterday. So despite the fact that we're back at war and despite the fact that President Trump has said we're going to hit him hard, et cetera.
And we are hitting them hard.
Oil is not the leverage and the blackmail that Iran had before.
Why is that? Because in the period of the ceasefire, a number of countries have started buying American.

KT McFarlan: They've been buying oil from Alaska, from the Gulf of America and American oil. Crude oil exports have gone up 30 percent just since the war began.
The other thing is that the Middle East allies, the Saudis, you especially Iraq.
They're building pipelines and fast tracking those pipelines.
So with every day, Iran's ability to blackmail the world with the Strait of Hormuz goes down.

David Asman: KT, you worked with the great secretary of state, Henry Kissinger. Kissinger always was hoping.
I think one of his dreams was that eventually there would be some kind of deal between Israel and the Arab countries that would kind of isolate Iran, put Iran in a pocket.
It seems that. Donald Trump, through the Abraham Accords, has has worked this out, or at least that we have the basis for all of that working out.
And this to these tensions now with Iran are the final proof of that, because you see the UAE leaving OPEC, et cetera.
It seems like it seems like things are working in the direction that even Kissinger wanted to go for.

Arab countries were working together, fighting together, not just trading, but fighting together against Iran, nobody would have believed you.
And yet that's the new Middle East. I think that the whole Iran war is important as it is and important as Iran's nuclear weapons and getting rid of them was.
The end result of this is a complete change of the chessboard in the Middle East.
We now have a lot of really close friends and that's the big takeaway.

Our nurses, obviously, are... are limited in their capacity, they're overworked, and they're worried.
So, I know you said the decision is final, but I'm just trying to figure out if you can answer why did you move forward with an action that you know is going to be creating a problem or worsening a problem that already exists?

So, as these caps were put into place, and many professions were then being reviewed as to what constituted a professional category guided by the definition of a professional degree, from Congress.
So, that was the overview that the... that we looked at as we were writing this new rulemaking with the overall goal of putting caps in place that are going to reduce the cost of college.

If I started sharing with courts, or frankly, with the media, my conversations with foreign leaders and all of their details, no foreign leader would talk to me again, and we would break trust with them.
