Wojciech Pawelczyk @WojPawelczyk - Poland wants to build the world's first Twin Peaks museum in the city of Toruń.
David Lynch's Polish friend, Marek Żydowicz, is in possession of 13 containers filled with artifacts used on the set of the series Twin Peaks. They include almost complete sets for many scenes in the series, as well as the so-called props: costumes, jewelry and items used by the actors. The project is in its early stages of selecting a construction company. Discussions are underway with the Ministry of Culture, city authorities, and regional authorities regarding the investment schedule and financing.
David Lynch had a special relationship with Poland which he visited many times. He especially loved Łódź, which he called a city with a soul. His last full length feature film Inland Empire takes place partially in Poland.
Lynch is particularly close to my heart, because he masterfully creates in Twin Peaks the surrealist atmosphere that phenomenologically resembles my own schizotypal experience of non-psychotic structural derealization where the boundary between reality and dream is subtly blurred, without the break in contact with objective reality that is seen in schizophrenia. 
The Twin Peaks series was extremely popular in the 1990s in Poland, and the master deserves to be recognized here.

Sarah Sanders answered reporters' questions. She was asked about President Trump's disparaging tweets about former White House staffer Omarosa Manigault Newman, who recently criticized the president and released secret audio recordings from her time in the West Wing. Ms. Sanders said the president was "voicing his frustration" in those tweets in which he called Ms. Newman a "dog" and a "crazed, crying lowlife." Ms. Sanders was also asked about Ms. Newman's allegation that the president had used a racial epithet. Ms. Sanders said she had never heard him say that word or anything similar. When asked if she could guarantee that the American people would never hear the president say that word on a recording, Ms. Sanders said, "I can't guarantee anything, but I can tell you the president addressed this question directly." In the beginning of the briefing, Defense Department officials provided an update on efforts to repatriate the remains of American soldiers killed in the Korean War.

Marine Barracks Washington's Evening Parades are held nearly every Friday from May through August. This unique tradition has been hosted at the "Oldest Post of the Corps" for over 60 years. Beginning at 8:45 p.m., this 75-minute ceremony showcases the pride, professionalism, and esprit de corps of the Marine Corps. Guests experience military excellence with performances by "The President's Own" United States Marine Band, "The Commandant's Own" United States Marine Drum & Bugle Corps, and the esteemed United States Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon. President Trump answered questions from reporters on the violence that occurred at a rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, the previous weekend. When asked why he waited two days to specifically condemn white supremacist groups and Nazis, he responded "....before I make a statement, I like to know the facts." He also criticized what he described as "alt-left" groups and said there was "blame on both sides" and said not all of the people at the rally were neo-Nazis or white nationalists. At the start of the press conference, the president announced he signed an executive order that aims to streamline the federal permitting process for infrastructure projects.

"I'm very angry at her," former President Donald Trump said in response as to whether he thinks he should tone down the personal attacks on Vice President Harris. The response came during a news conference at his New Jersey golf club in Bedminster. The former president focused his remarks on inflation and the cost of groceries suggesting the stock market would crash and social security would go bankrupt if Vice President Kamala Harris were to be elected.
