Like, when you access the unconscious, the first mode is view only, not unlike if you take ayahuasca or other mind expanding drug and see what it looks like, what sort of repressed shit it is bound to, etc... they can do that part.
But the second mode is consciously constructing scenarios in your unconscious that "tell it" what you want, and with that you can communicate, you can make it get over the stuff its bound to, reshape it, etc... The women I shared experiences with never were able to do that because every experience was just an overpowering trip. Whenever they got deep enough to construct said scenarios, it was deep enough that they got taken over.
The ayahuasca people I talked to (including my sister), believe the unconscious is some form of "divine guide" telling you stuff and you only have to listen, and they never change anything.
The only people who get it are jungian active imagination therapists. Which are all male.
