Tradition is the arbitrariness of society. Always and everywhere. They change when the circumstances of life change. Therefore, their conservation does not make sense. If a tradition is useless, if it harms people without tangible benefit, if it hinders development, it must be discarded. To elevate arbitrary irrational things to the rank of an end in itself (maintaining traditions, preserving traditions) is a vile reactionary folly
