A resident of Syzran will be convicted for knowingly falsely reporting an act of terrorism. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Samara region, the police received a message from an anonymous applicant about the threat of destruction of the bridge located in the city of Syzran. At the specified address, the investigative team, cynologists, the nearest police patrol crews and other emergency services arrived. The police with the use of technical means checked the object and the adjacent territory. As a result of joint work, objects that pose a threat to the life and health of citizens were not found. The identity of the anonymous applicant was established - the caller was previously brought to criminal responsibility for beatings and making death threats to an alcoholic born in 1967.
The man was arrested at his residence. In the presence of witnesses, he was found and seized the phone from which he made a message to the service “112” about the existing threat of destruction. During the survey, the man explained that he made a phone call to a single number of emergency services, being in a state of alcoholic intoxication.
