With that said it's still cancergenic as fuck and the research done on it is biased as fuck.

We've known it's bad ever since Silent Spring proved the chemical companies were putting out disinformation. We need more books like that today, and we need to fund investigative reporting.

Or tell them about Tycho Brahe, who lost the bridge of his nose in a duel and had a brass prosthetic. He lived in a castle and his pet elk died when it got drunk and fell downstairs. He was a much more colourful character than Newton.
Since we're Going There^TM, I propethisize that the reason time appears to stop at speed of light is that time is the ultimate measure of mass. It's like pressure in a body of water: if you swim upwards and reach lower pressure (slower passage of time form your perspective), you will eventually reach an event horizon where there is no more water to swim in. Reaching faster than light speeds shouldn't be impossible, but it wouldn't obey all of the rules we know to make acceleration in general possible. Technically to find out I think we would need to establish a colony that spends a few millenia inventing a new science by living permanently at the speed of light.

I think we should replace our calendar with either BP or HE. The AD BC dynamic is inaccurate and very arbitrary compared to HE, which encourages you to see yourself as part of a longer period of life on the planet. This year is 12017 HE. Also Jesus has little to do with the history of non-European cultures, but the Neolithic revolution was more universal and less ethnocentric.

Hey guys I found an interesting paper on why resonance structures happen in Chemistry. It's pretty cool but to be honest my understanding of Quantum Mechanics is limited so I don't know if it's correct.

ITT: Simple things that never fail to blow your mind.

I'll start, due to the wave particle duality of light, it's perfectly possible to use equations dedicated to sound in isotropic mediums to predict its behavior with a reasonable margin for error.

What the fuck is a Weber? Yeah it's 1 Tesla*m^2, but what the fuck does that mean in a practical sense? Does that mean it's a unit of measurement for a magnetic field for every squared meter? But that doesn't make sense either since it would be 1T/m^2. Is it just using magnetic field as some sort of distance gauge?

I'm really confused here, please help.
