lik the whole point of stuxnet wasnt to steal data or hijack control of the computer or whatever lik a normal varus. the point was to cause irl damage to equipment by sending junk data to sensitive external equipment, while simultaneously tricking the computer into thinking that said junk data was "normal"

so i guess its not external equipment, but in spirit, youd be doing a similar thang. varus tells computer fan to "chill", while simultaneously telling computer that "this is fine", until sukhdeep is engulfed in lithium hellfire

There are interesting things in laptop and phone charging circuits over the past 5 years. It's nothing to do with cooling but rather charging circuits with direct hardware level access to allow specific iterations of under and over voltage.

Every single laptop and phone with USB-C power circuitry for power input and output has this design and its not a fucking coincidence. 

I'm sure the same people who made stuxnet also influenced every hardware ODM/OEM to adopt this strategy of being able to remotely turn your lithium battery powered device into an bomb just like the pagers.
