It collects data from basically everything on the internet, google, all major phone companies, all internet cable companies, government agencies, etc and feeds it into a prediction algorithm. Government agencies, law enforcement, military using it to predict crimes and target people. If you think you’re one of those targeted individuals, it was probably because Palantir said you checked some boxes. At the time, “in-q-tel” the cia’s financial investment arm was in the mix, using Palantir to predict changes in the market and invest accordingly. Blackrock, etc. it’s basically the end all be all of prediction AI and is actually what the movie Minority Report was based on.
