Audrey is a textbook narcissist. In all seriousness, she is quite intelligent and good at what she does, and seems quite friendly and affable at first but her personal life has been a never-ending series of perceived betrayals and drama. I don't think she has any interest in "coming back" from her current standpoint. Not because of depression like others have said but because I can bet she genuinely thinks she's not in a grim position where she needs to come back from.
