Imagine if Tor becomes mainstream

1. Proxies and VPNs aren't blocked. Some might be banned due to spam.
2. Tor isn't blocked, can be disabled on per board basis, how Board Owners like it.
3. Captcha ditto, can be turned off, enable for threads or for posts, again per board basis, BO can decide.
4. If you don't like a board settings feel free to make your own board. You have to keep the global rules at minimum.

Proxies on any chan will inevitably be blocked in relationship to that chan's popularity/amount of use.
If you have to ask why you're either a fool, or you aren't really asking you're the reason why they do get blocked.

But IMO there should be some way to handle shit content without resorting to tracking users. 

Look what happened to 4chan. Idiots being mods there using their gmail or even fucking .edu mails. How can someone be so idiotic. Their life is now ruined because they didn't know basic privacy. 

Anonymity is privacy of identity. Privacy is basic human right. Your personal life shouldn't be one hack away for the world to see.
