I hate myself and I hate everyone

yeah there really isn't much alternatives to those whose home is an imageboard. everything else is too focused on who posted the message than the message

I have similar experiences with basically every online interaction I've had. I know people who have made online friends from WoW and TF2, but I could never actually click with someone like that from a random group or match. You would think it would be easier to bond if you shared interests.

normalfag therapists are paid into the "pills fix ills." without understanding where the origin of the ill comes from and not trying to treat that instead first. Therapist in the end are just big pharma scammers who push pills. Had a few talks with a few here and there and they could never talk anything back and I just did the whole armchair psychologist routine as a troll back for wasting my time.

Yeah what they don't understand is that most of us need a human connection, not a doctor/patient relationship. Most humans want to feel understood and to feel like part of the group.
Changing your brain chemistry won't help you with either of these. Even if your chemistry were making you sad, hormones are the more likely cause, which means you need testosterone, not SSRIs.

and in these times such a connection is insanely hard to obtain. people actively avoid each other. you go outside and everyone there just wears headphones or stares at their phone and its almost a crime to go and try talk to someone you don't already know. basically if you didn't make irl friends in your childhood its over

Hey OP if ya still there and want to RP regular D&D or whatever, how about we start up a board here on Endchan just like the good old TG/CYOA days on the 4chins and post Tabletop RPG content there? Maybe called Traditional Adventure Gaming or /TAG/ for short board? No elitism about game system preference or other circle jerk just chatting various systems although can start circle-jerk generals though regarding systems? They are as fun as console wars.

Never experienced D&D? Okay here's a quick rundown: You venture down a dark hallway after descending down the stairs, made out of cobblestone floor and stonewalls, properly cut, like men or dwarves made it, sophisticated-like, you can make out the details and runic inscriptions on the walls with your candlelight of the murals on the wall as you pass through the hallway, depicting various monsters fighting mythological heroes you might recognize from local tales you grew up with. As you creep down the hallway making sure that you don't trigger any traps, you start to hear a sound of goblins arguing loudly enough to being heard behind the door with someone speaking clearly the Imperial tongue, although poorly.

"But that's my pay!" The goblin says. "Hand it over you rat, I killed those men for that trinket!"

What do you do??? Do you enter the room and try to negotiate? Roll 2d6+Charisma Modifier, do you choose to wait for a better moment to ambush them when their argument is getting too uncomfortable to continue and you start to hear their steps away from the room? ROLL INITIATIVE! 1d20+Dex modifier for initiative each side.

basically D&D at least old school boils down to stuff like that, go look at Scarlet Heroes for a free solo RP rules. It might look complicated at first but its super simple grade school levels of math required and online dice can be used and it won't affect gameplay much mechanics wise.

Alternatively you can always play Tunnels and Trolls, a great game for solo roleplay as long as you take it in Monty Python levels of seriousness due to the harshness of the rules and the comedic nature of the game itself, think of the Killer Bunny levels of stupid and fantasy mixed. Its a good game for the right type of a group or solo RP bunch of adventures released over for it too, just around $20 and all you need is basically a bunch of d6s and a notebook plus your computer for any math and pdf reading. Probably the most affordable way to play RPGs with a complete system with a world build into it even if its light and funny.

I don't use discord mainly due to getting too easily banned from there and the scummy staff that are bunch of furries that go after kids roblox servers, go figure, they banned any criticism of furries and protected their version of furry CP basically.
