After recent scandals around payment systems and gaming content, I came up with a way to stir the pot and make things even more interesting for both big corporations and everyday folks.

Payment processors are starting to moderate games - cracking down on content involving alcohol, tobacco, and adult themes. But meanwhile, they still process payments for movie theaters, streaming platforms, and bars where alcohol and cigarettes are openly shown and promoted.

So what if we flood their inboxes with letters demanding they apply the same ethical standards to Twitch, YouTube, Discord, Unity games, Google Play, Spotify, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, HBO, and other media services? Claim that movies, music, and content glamorizing alcohol, tobacco, and violence violate moral guidelines - and if they want to be consistent, they should start restricting payments for these industries too.

Imagine how confused and chaotic it would get for them to deal with that!

We can pretend it’s a serious request from a "community movement" with hundreds of supporters.

My challenge to you: be creative - come up with your own "moral" reasons to go after Twitch, YouTube, and the rest of the media circus.

Who's in? Let's spam their emails with these demands and see what happens.

After all, a handful of activists managed to do this before — why can’t we? Just send one letter a day and tweak the wording a bit; it’ll only take 5-10 minutes.

PS: let’s watch the world burn.
Yah I've been noticing some governments and big corporations are ramping up their digital ID age verification bullshit and censorship of platforms and services big time.

As always we need to make it clear we will not be using any platforms and services if they enforce age verification/digital ID. Rumble is the first big media site to tell the UK government to take a hike, so I'm supporting Rumble and might have to leave Youtube completely soon. So be it. There are always alternatives and they will grow in the face of online policing and discrimination.

Spotify users are threatening to go back to p2p networks and bit torrent. I say great go for it.

Youtube users are threatening to go to Rumble and Odysee. Same, I say good, go for it.

Not sure what you can do with Steam as it's hardware, but if you can pirate the games and emulate them.... I'd say the same, good for you, go for it.

If we want internet freedom then we have to take matters into our own hands and be stubborn about it. No backing down. If services don't want us for consumers then we won't be consumers.

It’s important to create a guide that teaches not to give away your real ID information, ever. The age checks are by data collection agencies which are a foreign security threat.
We must teach younger people specifically how to bypass the screens, and create fake personas, like we used to do. A key in doing this is making logins and passwords which do not cross reference eachother so the powers can’t build an authenticatic profile of you. You go back and obfuscate all the data in your current accounts. Delete accounts you are not using. Fill forms up with random data. Use new emails/accoubts not tied to you etc, and fill them all with unique data. You never want to use your face. You should generate or use a celebrity face or some other non-real I’d to verify accounts. Systems can be confused and bypassed. There is no reason to give corporations your information. The level of censorship and paywalls on today’s web makes no sense. It’s a deterioration. People using the internet nonstop from their cellphones but in ways that ultimately harm themselves or make it so they aren’t getting their value back. They are trying to strip everything away from us IRL. It’s 1984 and soon AI Skynet, and police being able to see everything you’ve done, because the corporations don’t want to fight for you. They give millions to politicians. You need to protect yourself and family from the big data. It’s there to do real harm to people now in 2025, not just spam you.
