At times I do tune out completely. Sometimes I get bored and honestly it's a way to stay informed (basically something to waste some spare time while "vegging" around the house which can become addictive). I need to go on more road trips the only problem, gas is expensive, so is everything else. I don't want to blow my entire life savings going on trips just to tune out of this world. Maybe I would if I had cancer and knew I was going to be dead soon anyway.

I've gone offline here for almost a whole week, was visiting some family and friends once again. Keep in mind I don't "doom scroll" because I still own a flip phone and I only use it to make calls. I use laptops and PCs for the internet. I'm an old fashion prick who is never changing my spots till the day I have a stroke and die.
