on topic i think the internet is a lost cause and the people need their own thing. it used to be a sacred miracle, now it is just a territory for evil men to capture with digital war.

probably the most important question of this point in time for humanity because every attempt on the internet of human self-organization will be carefully monitored and in one of thousand ways thwarted by those who wish for humanity to remain enslaved.

there can't be leaders because they can murder anyone on the planet that they want to except the most heavily guarded people maybe. also they have less disturbing ways to disable someone which usually suffice.

it can't be open to anyone because that way it will be infiltrated and sabotaged.

it can't be public. because then it will be destroyed from the outside by one of thousand ways.

it can't be private either because in the masssurveilance that they try to create privacy is literally impossible.

is there something that is neither public nor private?

Unfortunately there is no voting your way out of this. The rich and powerful hijacked our governments and monopolized control over the entire economy. There is nothing left to do but to stand back, not engage with it anymore, let it all collapse and watch the system burn. They'll ignite failed wars and try making life living hell during the collapse, no doubt about it, we all just better be prepared for the end of empire, the aches and pains of a dying parasitic system. People wonder when guns will finally be used. The reality is not all at once. It will be specific scenarios of desperation and resentment, hatred unleashed after being fucked over for so long, self defense of lives and people willing to die and fight to cling to their stubborn lifestyles, fits of rage when facing the loss of everything they knew, etc. The aches and pains of a dying empire. I don't really care myself if I survive if everything goes to complete shit anyway. I'm living it all up for the now, as an alcoholic and consumerist of the past.
