And as always, the US government is stupid enough to contract Big Tech firms like Amazon to store all their shit in the "cloud" aka online servers. Well not shit it is vulnerable! You want security? Do what the Russians and Chinese do, use old air-gapped (offline) computer systems with de-bloated reverse engineered operating systems and/or typewriters for the most sensitive information. Anything online, anything involving "the cloud" or Big Tech is open game to all kinds of bad actors around the world.

How about they stop relying on third party companies like Amazon that store their sensitive data in the cloud and start using air-gapped local servers that require local physical access to use and manage? Entirely possible, many governments are doing it today.
