This was me today, in sandals on me old trusty shopping cart mtb.
I do have very similar shoes (all black adidas something gtx) to Brtek as the mainstay and everyday use and light hiking which I don't do a whole lot lately.
Also very comfy Zamberlans for actual hiking where twisting and tweaking your ankles is possible.

 >>/15107/
It's probably something with my Firefox settings, I have it set up in some paranoid mode, I don't remember exactly what I changed in about:config, I don't want to reset my entire profile so sometimes cloudflare just thinks I am a robot.

> Cipollini. "If I lost the Giro I would like to get on a tower and throw myself downstairs, other than partying", commented the former champion, who did not appreciate the embrace between Del Toro and Pellizzari

> "It was ridiculous, a fake fair play that bothers me a lot, it's done just to attract consensus... Where is the warrior's spirit of the cyclist? I’m happy to be part of a different cycling,” concluded Cipollini

> Del Toro Father:"People don't know that Isaac had osteoporosis for many years, that he had tumors or a gap in his jaw. All because he worked so hard. He needed medications, supplements, things that were very difficult to pay for, because the body of a super athlete doesn't just need beans; we spent a lot of money on consultations, medications, supplements, and tests.”

A big interview with the great Roman KREUZIGER Jr.
Surely by now you are all fluent in czech anyway

I only speak slovake but it's basically the same.
> I like Tadej's racing more, his unpredictable starts are attractive to fans. Visma does race effectively and with a drive to win, but they and Vingegaard are going through the season in the style of "I'm interested in the Tour, and that's the end of it for me". Tadej, on the other hand, tries to win from February to October. Which is more sympathetic to me.

Kek, absolutely everyone is a pogi boy, I don't think I've seen anyone but D*nes and jumbo shills in the other camp

molano and bauhaus so consistent at placing well in the most messy and retarded sprint stages. big curve in the final, small roads, multiple speedbumps? they will be there no matter what

fixed the crevaison on my triban shitter today. I had to change the tires anyways, unlike bertaczeks old looking contis, my vittorias had some white spots showing the cotton layer and telling me it definitively was time to change them.
I should have properly cleaned the rim and inside of the replacement tire, which would have spared me another crevaison on my test ride. I first thought it was just the tube losing pressure because the tire would need a bit of time to properly seat itself, but it was a proper hole.
you win this time tubeless sisters.

yes

> Matteo Jorgenson reveals he turned down offer of Visma's Giro d'Italia 2025 leadership: "I didn't feel ready for that yet"

and in 2024 he didn't want to go because he didn't feel like a big guy like him could keep up in the mountains with feeding

> you won't make it through the ride brtek
> the rain will make your brakes squeak
> you'll be cold
> you'll crash in a corner
> your rear tire will wash out
> you will flat
> you will flat and stand around in the rain all alone
> you can't do it
> never could

honestly the worst part about rain is starting your ride in it or getting washed unexpectedly
if it isn't freezing and you're prepared you can get in a good zone and feel the inner strength

tbh I don't know about Czech cyclists but last year I rode a hill/mountain event with friends where it was raining like 80% of the time and there were still a ton of people on the start, many of which only did half the distance but still
what I'm getting at is that brtek may still face all the same opposition. What if they are stone cold hardmen who embrace the suck or even thrive on it

 >>/15270/
Last year I did an event with friends where it rained for 4 hours and we did like 15km of cobbled roads in it.
Probably the strongest riding I've ever done from a mental standpoint, 4 man train blasting by lone hardmen.

The washing up was hell though.

 >>/15329/
last year it rained so much that I feel like anyone who went outside regularly got rain immunity
I see it when I look through my strava club feed where people do group rides in the cold and wet all winter or days like today, neither was a thing the year before but now nobody gives a fuck anymore

 >>/15330/
> cold rain
literally the worst thing ever
> hot rain
when it gets that catharsis hit just right it feels great. nothing like winding down after a good rain ride. im convinced you all just live in frigid hellscapes where you dont get high temperature rain ever

> you would have flatted
> you would have flatted twice
> the group would've dropped you
> it was over from the start
> better stay inside
> you made the right choice

 >>/15382/
something must be stuck in my rear wheel that keeps causing the inner tubes to getting punctured. good chance to properly align the tires with the valve and put the tires in the indicated direction to make it look more professional and not like bertaczek fixed it.

if i got collected while being some field filler in a fake belgian race id be so pissed. yeah honey im in hospital because i crashed out of the Heylen Vastgoed Heistse Pijl. really?

full sex tourism/warm countries with wide roads.

mallorca races, UAE Tour, Hainan, Guangxi, Langkawi etc.

Avoid all the countries with road furniture, good riders and cold crummy weather. The life of a Li Ning Star kermistomper is the comfiest in cycling.

MILTIADIS 2024 season seems quite comfy. perfect mix of competing in small races and jobbering it up at some bigger yet relatively comfy races. Show up to your NC's every year and clean up, get to race around the world and get paid for it. jealous

> Why is Pogacar only competing in the Dauphiné after his triumph in Liège? "I don't want to get bored by a fixed pattern. The only thing I have to do every year is the Tour," laughs the relaxed Slovenian.
> My training numbers have been good all year. We will soon see how much they are worth in the race."
How are we feeling remking brothers and fishman sisters?

I've been wondering how the jobber economy works. AI claims they earn 32-200k a year but I think that's PRT not CT level. Another source claims a continental team rider makes anywhere from nothing to a few thousand bucks, fuck knows how much they actually make. Teams like the Universe Cycling rapists with 16 riders and lots of staff (why do they have so many) probably still needs several hundred thousand €$ annually to pay the bills.
Curious that they find sponsors to front them cash when most of the races they do don't get televised and are in some African/Asian place where the locals probably don't watch live either

my take on the rat challenge 2025:
> I dislike eggplants, so I cut the cubes very thin, just to add some consistency
> cooking all veggies separately lead to me using too much oil
> fresh herb mix was a full success
> green house veggies simply don't cut it and adding sugar would be cheating
> veggie mix wasn't right, too much zucchinis and not enough pepperoni
I rate 6/10. this needs better quality and ripe vegetables from the fields and some good quality olive oil.
yeah and please don't tell me to clean the oven. I have a oven clean spray laying around somewhere.

 >>/15497/
The benefits are very minor (weather data for past rides is one, I forget what else). I'd consider it a donation and payment towards trying to maintain independence active development. If you can spare the cash, it's probably one of the most deserving places on the internet to spend it.
 >>/15500/
That's 17086 cm! I do live pretty close to it actually, so at least it's somewhat hilly/rolling around here, not pure flat.

 >>/15508/
I don't even think this person exist and is just an AI pulling from news articles

> Actually, Arnaud De Lie should be the favorite. It doesn't increase so much that it is unambiguous, but we learned on stage 8 of the Tour, where De Lie was locked in, and in Quebec in 2023, that the Belgian is better in ascending sprints than Girmay. He will also love this simple race, where he doesn't have to struggle so much with his positioning, and he is made to be the strongest in a tough race. The uncertainty about his form is just great. After his spring crisis, he retired in Cologne with breathing problems, and now he missed Mayenne with illness. It creates a little too much uncertainty for me to have him as the favorite, but when the race is not a mountain stage after all, it must be bad if he doesn't sprint for the win

this guy is insane, de lie will get dropped on the first passage over the muur

 >>/15478/
What Norbert advised was the key, make it less runny. When it all reduced to a more saucy texture the flavors exploded. And doing it one vegetable at a time.
Then I put it back on the stove again, overdid it and burned it just slightly which has destroyed the taste completely kek.

Don't know about doing it in the four (four), guess it is the same heat going on, just difficult to stir and control it.

feeling very unassured of me picks for both goombles. lot of possible duds, dont know why every team decided to bring tree different sprinters to bruxelles.
might just blow it all up for the jonas+pog+remco+six shitters strategy.

 >>/15527/
If you asshume you have to pick Jonas too (you probably should) then the only decish is who is your 8 point sprinter.
Brussels is fairly easy to pick, this is the phase of the season where everyone starts to have the same team.

How do you guys cope with doing the same route everyday? I know it's a first-world problem, but basically all my rides (including commute) start and finish with the same 20 boring minutes to get out of the city. This morning I woke up and really didn't feel like doing it again, so decided to rape a bit. Tomorrow is holiday anyway, I'll ride big then

 >>/15530/
It is what it is if you're a city fag. I have always assumed I have 2 decent out routes where I have to share space with the cagies the least.
Once I have found one convenient out route to the norf I was spamming rides that way for two weeks.

 >>/15533/
Oh me too, in the next job I am maxxing out wagebucks and starting to look around for land.
Of course not for the sake of it at any cost, I'd prefer it to be on a hill, with access to a stream, not crammed in between other tiny plots and slightly larger (0,3-0,5 ha), outside of hearing distance of main roads but close enough to a bus stop and/or train station so I am not a full time chauffeur for my future kids for the next 20 years.
And the house has to be really nice, not some CAD shit abomination, like Fishboy's so it will probably be a fancy custom project.
We shall see how many points of this wishlist can be checked out and if I will be able to afford it all without loaning meself to death.

Meanwhile, Dauphiné is closed.

 >>/15534/
> on a hill, with access to a stream, not crammed in between other tiny plots

that'll be one gorillion eurobucks sir

 >>/15548/
> 2 big boys
> best sprinter by far
> lipowitz very cheap for some reason
and after that you just pick whatever not dogshit riders there are in the 6 and 4 points
this is how every velogame is with pogacar on the startlist now

 >>/15525/
I just ate the leftovers. they were left in the oven for 2 hours with the rest heat before putting it in the frigo and it tasted much better. I'll be more patient the next time and just turn off the oven and keep it there for at least another 30 minutes or so.
also those organic pork sausages were very good, I thought they added wine, but it was cider. would buy again at 50% discount.

> Pogacar: "in 2020 it was a little bit different than now i became fourth there and I hope I can improve that result this week but if not no worries it's a kind of a preparation race for the Tour De France
im sure there will be no worries if pog finish fourth in this field

 >>/15767/
you don't need chatgpt for that the man himself does it better than anyone

> “Eddy Merckx was something else, wasn’t he? There is absolutely no comparison possible between Pogačar and Merckx. Pogačar is a fantastic rider and the Strade Bianche is a tough race but not a super race. He rode away at 90 km from the finish and no one could follow,” he said. “I guarantee: if I had been on his wheel, he would never have dropped me in my good form. Never in his life! Just like Francesco Moser and Beppe Saronni couldn’t either.”

 >>/15752/
sprinter startlist last year was full of frauds that sucked before and still suck
only real competition was washed Jappe who won the same number of stages (three) and might have won green had he not been relegated on that one stage
this year Merlier and Milan will destroy them

my favorite aspect is his obsession with the demonic italians

> De Vlaeminck still has his own idiosyncratic view of cycling. "What is it with those riders? They earn a lot more money, but they shouldn't say it's too busy."

> "Mathieu van der Poel wins Milan-Sanremo, but was on the wheel for 250 kilometers, right? And Filippo Ganna was dropped 3 times and is returning because the others held back."

> "Now you have 1 Italian at level with Ganna and he is not superman. In my time you had ten Italians who were among the absolute top."

always wonder if nepotismhire riders are fully aware and accepting of the situation. do some of them actually think they are professional quality? are they resigned to their fate being tied to their better sibling? must be especially crushing for the older brother failsons.

 >>/15816/
speaking of, looks like Contador has finally started fucking his wife.
He has fewer hours on Strava this year than I have at least. Unless he's keeping some private. His recent rides also look somewhat more moderate rather than insane.

another 15 pancakes ride in today's warm rains
imagine how many eggs big Brtek would have scored if only he'd followed thru on his race
the skinwalker narrowly escaped me in Vine land this past winter but can't hide forever

> In an interview with the Dutch newspaper AD, Van der Poel indicated that his goal to become the world champion mountain biker for the first time in September has not changed. “That certainly remains the goal. It is said that the fall was a blow, but it was a shame because I wanted to go mountain biking. But I do what I have in mind. I am not so concerned about other opinions.”
> Setbacks are part of it,” continued the Dutchman, who has had some bad luck on the mountain bike. “It only makes me more determined to do better. It is up to me to prove that I still have mountain biking in me. I still really enjoy doing it.”
Told you he would be even more motivated.

If you want to dope go play football or tennis or running or swimming or ice hockey or any burger sport or any combat sport or body building or weightlifting or rowing or triathlon or archery or gymnastics or track and field or biathlon or ice skating or well, anything you can think of really.

idc about flares but it must be pathetic when its just you and your mates. in a large crowd at the top of a climb? sure, whatever. but when its just three guys in a corner it feels pitiful

Not sure why commentators were saying it was a sure thing. One guy who was dead 5 km out but not working vs one guy who was fresher but working for the last 5 km. Seemed like it'd be even.
