> "Cian's and the team's ambitions began to diverge," Visma CEO Richard Plugge said on the Movistar website. "At this time, we cannot offer Cian the role and program he considers essential for his development."

> After very open and honest discussions, we have accepted his request to take a new step in his career. We wish Cian every success."

Second broken contract already
> So, what direction does the 22-year-old Belgian want to take? "I'm currently at a stage in my career where I want to further develop as a GC rider in Grand Tours; that's become very important. I'm convinced that Movistar, and someone like Enric Mas in particular, can help me grow in that area and achieve results," says Uijtdebroeks himself. "I believe this environment can help me develop into a key figure in the peloton."
