Considering the presence of remco in the race is fairly obvious that the leader should be the one who's able to follow remco's kick and have enough power to maintain that until the end.

That's not godon's case.
Godon is backup plan in case it comes together for a sprint ( good luck with that )

Me mom's phone is too old now to service all her stupid coupon apps (Xperia XZ1 Compact) but she likes it very much, especially the size.
There is NOTHING produced in the last 3 years (or more, haven't filtered that far) that is of similar smol size, besides one construction site freak phone.
I hope tabletification of spyphones is already behind us.

Newer Sonys are the least bloated, but are still way less wieldy than that cute compact.
Sony also leaves phones completely, Xperia VII series is the last.
Which is a bummer, surely I have mentioned it already thrice or fource but besides two Siemens phones (back in the day when phones had button and were not uniform, amorphic slop) all my phones were from the direct ancestry Ericsson - SonyEricsson - Sony.

Schmid had this bad tendency to always hang low.
Last year LBL he was in SUCH a good shape, his top 10 actually came from himself literally catching up to 50+ riders.

He has to get better race sense.
Or maybe his team is also retarded tbh

Think I just kept playing the goomble like it was still warm up, when noomber looking and extra gossip info is king, not like you now have enough examples of in-form/off-form which override any noomber looking or overall power ranking.
Let's see if the freefall will be stopped on mur de chuj.

have you guys seens his strava? that guy isn't a cyclist anymore
he will not ride a single race for tietema

> According to DirectVelo journalist James Odvart, the underlying issue is a virus, with Lafay described as “the victim of a virus contracted in China” that has seen him “continue to push back the start of his season.”
What could that Chinese virus be?

Idk if its recovery but I think it's kinda too long to go any harder than what they are doing because of the run yea. They ride like 75-80% of ftp I think and blumenguys strength is that his LT1 is a really high % of his ftp
 >>/80406/
he himself talked about his ftp being around 400w in a training video last year or so and there's a paper about his training and energy expenditure (2021) https://journals.physiology.org/doi/full/10.1152/japplphysiol.00706.2024
he's likely stronger than both of these numbers in peak race shape but I think it's unlikely that its more than like 410w at lt2. Ironman people train efficiency more than anything

Apparently this wine is made by ex-pro cyclist Vincent Canard (the domain website says he had a "storied career"....)

Thjis is biodynamically-grown Gamay from the Fleurie appellation of Beaujolais. Normally I expect a light-medium, floral wine with complex aromas. This has a really wild nose with like black pepper brisket/game over the rose and red fruit. The palate is fruity with astringent acidity. Long finish.

For $24, absolute banger. Turns out Vincent can vinify better than he can pedal.

Axel domont also made that reconversion in savoie. I tried one of his, absolutely lovely white. He's doing the vin naturel meme, but I have to admit I like this trend. If you can find you should try.

Kek, clean in cycling AND in wine making

Hirschi just lost some skin and a cut needed to be glued. he should be fine and Cancellara was very positive about her/she's form curve. (Hirschi did get a lot of flack in the Sunday press before Amstel Gold)

You think your average moldavan "bike repairman" will spend time investigating mysterious sound?

Anyway, the more I investigate, the more I don't know, it is either the pedal or the shoe:
Symptomps:
> leatherly sound, not metallic
> follows rotation
> the higher power, the lower cadence, the more obvious
> doesn't happen all the time (!), can start occuring middle of the ride

I replaced the spindle with original one and could hear a similar sound, indicating it is probably the shoe (but what? i thoroughly recleaned the cleats and everything)
Then I lubed the assioma spindle, put it back, did a test and didn't hear the sound.

My shoes are about 6 years old, some mid range shimano (black colour of coursh)

I actually find this one of the most easy one day classics for anyone to ride.

It's short, every team has basically decided we're going to punch at the end so nobody ever tries anything.

All you really need to do is watch some valverde replays, do the recon and make sure your team drops you with the first 15 at the foot.

For me it's early autumn. Not too cold, some cozy rain here and there but also some summer days that aren't too fucking hot (im a heatlet). Picking the last tomatoes from my greenhouse while the hazelnuts start dropping. Plants going colormode while some stubborn chestnut is still holding on, throwing chestnuts till november.
Turning out the oilstove for the first time again.
Aaaaaah... yes please.

14 days ago I started talking with Assioma support. Telling them how I struggle with play in right pedal and how I think the axlr is a bit worn.
I had hoped they woukd odfer me perhaps a discount on the new PROs.

No, they finally answered with offer on replacement spindle, for 170€

So I have couple options now:
1 take the bait and continue suffering when the play eventually returns as it is a design issue
2 wait for sale on the new assiomas
3 buy the power2now spiders for 680€
4 endure this summer and buy new bike during winter sale, that will come with a PM, most likely a preinstalled crank arm shit

 >>/80603/
you are probably right, i will endure this summer with the assiomas, the play has been happening for YEARS so it's nothing new
i even have the bike selected (not vetted with /cyc/ though) so it's a matter of waiting for sale

Almost nailed the elusive karbonara. The taste was almost on the dot, just slightly overburnt guaincale, and 50ml of pasta water too litlle, especially after the final cheese dump. And maybe use only pecorino romano instead of a mix with grana.
3 egsh per 50g of pasta is the golden rule.

 >>/80642/
yeah I know but that fact stands regardless. Either way frames can get pretty heavy in the aero department, difference of just frame alone if you look at that x lab or specialized aethos and something like simplon pride is over 500g and the set is more like 800g I think.

 >>/80647/
> Czech yourself: handmade in Czechia
 >>/80649/
the best german crit racing team is sponsored by simplon, there are quite a few around here and judging from the used bikes market quite a few around in general. It's the only current year disc frameset that I rate, if I were to ride FILTH like that I would get that one.

Le French hype with Seixas has all the makings in it for some giant accident that ruins that boys whole carreer and subsequent blackpilling of French cyclismo. You can just feel it in the ether of the universe.

It lacks a couple of Portuguese teams for maximum soulfulness. I still think fondly of the 2017 edition with the mythical Raul "Balarcon" Alarcón beating peak Quintana. That year was basically a Volta top 10 plus Quintana and Óscar Sevilla, kek. Now that's soul

Lol, it will be almost impossible to reach the critical amount of users needed for this to succeed. And even if it does, it's hardly possible to make it work financially without enshittifying it. I hope Jonas isn't wasting too much money on this. At least aficionados of Trine's feet got something out of it.

Interdasting conclusions from skipping magnesium-zinc-b6 + ashwaganda before sleep after like a month of non-stop use.
It did make me sleep longer, better and especially ashwagandha made me have wild dreams (being somekinda gangsta bitchfucker chad a couple of times, Charles Barkley came over to say hi once etc.) but I never woke up truly rested.
Now I did not wake up truly rested today, I slept like 4 hours total and fought for sleep for 6, it was way worse after wake up than with the Mg+ash pills but during the day today I am so much more energetic and have a much clearer mind.
The heart noombers were also slightly higher for the clean sleep than for the Mg+ash sleep but during the day they are lower than usual.

Will continue this vehemently interesting experiment and captivating sleepposting.

Don't think so. I watched replays of Pogi on Mur de Huy and he has another gear beyond Seixas currently. I just don't think Seixas has closed power gap to Pogi since Strade. Another year or two.

I can't wait for that first time when Paul goes and Pogi can't follow. Going to be kino of the highest order.

I predict the annual power growth of sexass at 8% meaning within 2 years we'll see the first seven wattsperkiloer since the good old days. In 5 years cycling will close down and sexass will be declared as race winner of every single race present and future, the apex

> The Tour de Romandie and Tour de Romandie Féminin are under threat from 2027 onwards as race organisers search for a title sponsor.

> Tour de Romandie organisers are reportedly facing a 10% shortfall in their annual budget of €4.5 million this season. Both races will go ahead this year, though things are not so certain for 2027.

> "The Tour de Romandie Foundation doesn’t have the necessary reserves to run three or four editions while waiting to find a potential sponsor," he said.

> "We have enough [money] to run one edition without support for the yellow jersey. But since I don’t want to lower our safety or accommodation standards, and we want to remain in the WorldTour, every day costs us a lot of money. COVID-19 has eaten up part of our reserves, and we have an obligation to find a main sponsor."

> Chassot said the 2026 races can act as a "platform" for the future as he seeks out new sponsors.

> "Without a title sponsor for 2027, we won’t be able to maintain financial stability. In cycling, it’s a fragile balance because, unlike almost all other sports, we can’t sell tickets," he said.
> There has been some good news in recent days as the Swiss division of Lidl has come on board as a partner for both the Tour de Romandie and Tour de Suisse. The hunt for a title sponsor to secure the former's future goes on, however.

 >>/80990/
> Aren't you exaggerating a bit bertman
Yes, it was supposed to be a joke. But I don't think it's that much of an exaggeration? Most chemist jobs are largely routine work, and even research is mostly legwork. If you climb the ladder, you can leave more of that to others, but you'll also have to deal with more boring bureaucracy and such, so I don't think you gain anything in terms of "excitement". Although I have to admit that I'm not very excitable and my perception might be slightly skewed.

 >>/80996/
That was not my intention, otherwise I would have changed my flag to Belgium. I thought it would be obvious from the different flag that I wasn't you.

 >>/81020/
Bertman sometimes also performs under tricolore. I know that even the cool named jobs are mostly chores, had a couple very cool named machine learning jobs and they were 80% dealing with mess.
Plus the everpresent climbing up the ladder just to have more stupid duties that barely reflected in pay.
Have this guy in me company now, he became a lead data scientist, he is almost pure ego but I can tell he is in meetings non-stop. Was it worth it? For him, probably, he loves to sound off everytime he can and feel important, he also doesn't know a lot of slightly more advanced stuff.
For a normal person? Fuck that shit, pay me and don't bother me.
