Imagine that you love to consume cocaine. The cocaine feels really good to you, so obviously you want some more. After some time, your health deteriorates because consuming too much cocaine. The desire to quit cocaine (for healthy reasons) fights the desire to consume more cocaine! What desire will win? The desire to consume cocaine is strong but wrong. So, how to remove an intense desire from your heart? Well, the fucked up reality is that the human heart is not well design to handle these situations, so people struggle with addictions and internal fights all the time. People can't remove desires from their own heart?!
