Tempus fugit is a Latin phrase, usually translated into English as "time flies".
Maybe higher beings (maybe God as well) perceive time more fast than old people.

Eternity seems to be in an apparent contradiction with temporality, but eternity is made of individual temporal states. The temporal present matters a lot, because without it, there is no eternal future.

Maybe. One can be looking at the narrow immediate limited present, without memory and without looking at the future. Some people called it living in the moment (like small animals do). It depends on the perceptual conscious focus of the flow of time.
