Me and 4 other members would like to apologise
for the abrupt disappearance, as well as multiple instances
of non-responsiveness and quietness this year.
Our area just had a recent crime wave (unrelated to us)
and law enforcement was interviewing people,
also combined with the fact that one of us was directly affected by it
(they were not hurt or arrested though),
so we had to take a few weeks off as a precaution.
We're not able to explain further details
(moreso for confidentiality reasons rather than legal reasons)
The (sorta) good news:
Even though we still haven't found something we can rely on
for the long term in terms of third-party file hosting,
we've successfully attempted to upload all albums (ZIP)
to temp.sh. So, we're still continuing to rely on it
until we find better alternatives that don't cost a lot,
but we've just noticed that the Internet is slowly
becoming a more restrictive place to host anything freely
in terms of maintenance and compliance.
Yes even on Tor and I2P.
We can't easily just leave the computer on 24/7
to run Onionshare and Tails OS either,
as electricity/energy bill are now at
an all-time high for us

Reasons we didn't post anything on Endchan:
TL;DR : the argon2 challenge is, in a few words, on and off again. Easy, but hit and miss, and, even with doing the exact steps, results in multiple 500 Internal Service Errors. So, had to resort to Safer security level settings (with JS enabled unfortunately) to post this message.
Due to this ongoing issue, we will be posting a lot less here (except for important announcements) until this is resolved. In the meantime, you can see all our art on:

Here's why:
Because we believe that making your own fan tshirts/hats/whatever is far more preferable and recommended than us having to turn everything into a marketable object to be consumed.
Besides, you can often find cheaper materials and make your own items for a fraction of the cost of official merchandise sold by some random company. You can also easily control the quality of the materials and construction by buying more high-end materials. In addition, when you make your own fan stuff, you can customise it to your own tastes and preferences, and create something unique that reflects not just your fandom but also your personality, if you'd like.
We just believe that fandom is best expressed when it's the fans speaking for themselves, not us, or any other entity, for them. It's just far more authentic.

However, we have managed to separate our activities, information, or identities in such a way that there is no connection or traceable link to our actual identities in the real world, so this isn't a problem for us.
Everything is built around some level of interdependence and cooperation, and we recognise this. However, we aspire to prove to ourselves that we can be successful on our own terms. No having to manage multiple teams and departments, no networking with "the right people we know", no tedious and costly self promotion other than maybe word of mouth marketing. Sure, we recognise that there may be instances where we need to rely on trusted third parties to assist us in specific areas like file storage. This is not a contradiction to our philosophy; rather, it is a pragmatic acknowledgment of the complexities of it all. But maybe we don't need to have to rely on who interacts with us or who finances us just to build some kind of online presence. Maybe we want to do it all on our own, without any kind of connection or collaboration with others. Maybe we don't want to be beholden to or influenced by the demands or preferences of any external parties of any kind.
This does not mean we don't value your contributions to help us. We know that every contribution, whether financial or otherwise, plays a vital role in supporting our work, and we are truly grateful for the generosity of those who choose to support us. However, our wish is to create a space where we can express ourselves freely, explore our ideas, and engage with our audience on our own terms. We want to foster a community that thrives on genuine interaction rather than transactional relationships. By prioritising our autonomy, we aim to cultivate a more authentic connection with our audience, one that is rooted in shared values and mutual respect.
