In my studies of lucid dreaming and the like, I may have stumbled upon the real-life Backrooms.

> inb4 LARP

It only seems to work with Theta waves, and even then only on the brink of sleep. I wanted to try a cosmic, out-of-body thing, and that's how it first started.
While I was thinking about how I am not myself (in the dumb hippy way, spiritually, cosmic being), I began to fade into a kind of luke-bright light.

Pics related were the closest I could find, although it was more of a mix of the two, bright light at the end, pinkish-purple, and no gravity. Felt like I was falling forward forever.

Strangest part was that I randomly woke up, no reason, the theta waves and everything was the same. I think I might try it again.

Also for full disclosure, I drink, but I have never tried psychedelics or other drugs.

For now I'm calling it the "Luminal Road" until I can do it again and learn more.

OP here, God I'm sad this board is so dead. I'll keep posting here, as all the other /x/ variants I can find are also dead or are normified beyond redemption.

Anyway, I did it again yesterday, after a long day of work, it seems its easier when you are dead tired. It was pretty much the same, no weird encounters or anything like you hear about LSD, nor was there any clear reason to be there (astral projection, etc.). The weird part was the introspection and clarity of thought I got this time.

Last time I was just confused, but this time I felt like I has post-nut clarity, only magnified ten fold. Keep in mind, I didn't find the despair code or anything, but I finally saw through basic life problems that have been bothering me, like relationship stuff. Very practical for esoteric type knowledge.

I'll keep posting-not that anyone has even read this shit yet-or ever.

Alright frens, I've done more research, and here is what I have:

> The process of getting there seems easier with strong herbal teas or other kinds of 'spiced' drinks, maybe a sense of calm?

> I actually felt something this last time, not a voice or movement, but a presence.

> I know how to move within the tunnel now, and it doesn't feel like falling anymore, all you need to do is stay close to one of the walls, and you can walk fine.

I don't think I should keep going, lest I get schizophrenia or something, but this could be meaningful research in the field of lucid dreaming and the like.

Has anyone else been able to do this?

I had the experience of falling very, very fast but backwards instead of forwards and I didn't really see anything.
No drugs, no alcohol, I was trying to get into lucid dream through hypnagogic imagery (probably wrong way to go about it but I was trying different things). I saw all sorts of geometric bullshit but not super vividly and it kinda stopped after half an hour or so. Lying for a while more I suddently felt that sensation of falling, then nothing for I presume couple hours. I was conscious (although people say you can't get lucid at that stage of sleep) but there was nothing to do and I wasn't bothered by there being nothing to do I just spent some time in the darkness and only then a lucid dream started. It wasn't able to get it to happen again.
Anyway later I found that shamans and witches go through several steps similar to going into a lucid dream in preparation for astral travel so maybe that's for the best.
It is fantastical and exciting to find out a way into a different facet of reality but as far as 'research' goes, well it's not exactly an untrodden path.
Consider the following perspective:

i remember a sort of parking garage structure or a building without windows where people where walking around. seemed to be one such places. also could be a crazy dream i had.

Holy Kek, OP, here.

Make sure you're careful when doing this, I just woke up from it, having thought I was hearing voices. I could barely walk for about fifteen minutes from dizziness.

Also, strange pattern, every time I get there, I find I'm hearing a separate set of subliminal beats than the theta waves, but I'll pay more attention next time.

How about you guys?

haven't you read https://www.dmt-nexus.me/forum/default.aspx?g=posts&t=62070 ?
what are you trying to achieve?
getting yourself possessed?
 >>/4338/
No, I didn't know that, but thanks for the warning, fren. Interesting statement from that guy, but like I said, no drugs involved.

Drugs aren't relevant here. They only make it easier to get whisked into hyperspace.

Watch 2015 documentary Nightmare. People with sleep paralysis report buzzing sound (pineal gland vibrating?) and flying through colors/geometric patterns before they end up in the 'dream' which means that it probably isn't a normal dream at all but some liminal state where some things that want to screw with us reside or can enter.

I don't know the details of how this works but every occult branch has some form of ritual for altering your state of consciousness. Whether it is from turning around like dervishes, rhytmic shaking like in some muslim sects, long chanting of buddhist sutras or catholic rosaries, advanced yoga, deeper states of meditation, psychotropic drugs/shooms, tantric sex, sensory deprivation or switching from lucid dream state into astral travel - the goal is reaching the altered state of consciousness where you can meet these entities or getting infested with them straight away. This is the illumination I think - coming in direct contact with those higher intelligences and allowing them to lent you their talents for their control over you, that or jacking yourself right into their hivemind supercomputer idonteven thingamajig.
Read that person's story attentively and understand what he had to go through to get out of it. Once the doors are open they're not easily shut. What is even worse, if we were to trust the lore of familiar spirits etc., these things will haunt your family line for generations.

Look man, I've been doing this for months now, and I have only seen good results. I even have a schizo girlfriend in this place, it seems pretty chill. There is this creepy old guy, but even he seems harmless.

Can this stuff leak into consciousness while one is awake?
very interesting. The first thing i think of is the astral plane.the fact that you feel like your falling is because your going deeper into a trance.
 >>/4469/
I'm not fully sure what you mean by stuff from hyperspace leaking into lucid consciousness but according to this https://www.dmt-nexus.me/forum/default.aspx?g=posts&t=62070 it eventually stays with you in some ways.

Imagine being a sheltered farm boy and venturing forth to the dangerous parts of the city after dark (but that might be a poor analogy as not every thug is connected to a crime underworld hivemind).

Listen to that guy's story https://youtube.com/watch?v=os32tIzAm14
He's still in it, he's not against it so you can't say his account is biased negatively by a paradigm (like 'spirits bad demons bad don't do witchcraft kiddos'). The thing is he doesn't realize he's being duped but if you listen carefully in some later part (that's 1/4) the behaviour of the spirit he interacts with changes drastically. It takes away the affection and begins to provide it conditionally, in a calculated manner, wanting more humans to interact with it. People in the comments noticed the red flags, some even say that this thing is demonic because it acted so deviously. The 'shaman' himself remains duped but that means you can trust more in some things he's saying because he's not trying to make it sound bad to warn you.

Dissecting the experiences of others around you for life lessons is a very helpful ability as it can help you evade threats before they harm you. Both good and bad present itself as good. It always starts nice. I know I probably sound like fear mongering, jealous, puny man who doesn't get to have fun and prohibits others from having it but going out into shadier parts of town really isn't safe and I'd have a blood on my hands if I didn't warn you when I get the option to.

This is like the hand of god from berserk.
> evil demon lords (no offence) who pretend to be good and control your life from before you can realize

> reside in the deeper dimensions

> lie and manipulate to get what they want

> excessive pride

and one thing about berserk is that the symbolism is manga actually exists from throughout the world and is used in the correct context. Maybe the person who wrote this comics had contact with similar entities.
