I'm working on another userscript.  This time, I'm trying to fix tiktok embedding.  This site's policy of disallowing JS that came from outside the current domain makes it so that I have to try to simuate what the obfuscated tiktok embed js is doing.

- I developed the endchan tiktok embed userscript in Floorp + Violentmonkey.
- I also tested it on Brave + Violentmonkey, and it worked the same as far as I could tell.
- The attached screencast is using Firefox Dev Edition + Violentmonkey.
- Out of the 3 browsers I use, Firefox Dev Edition is the only one that can play those HEVC videos natively.
- The other browsers have to rely on the play-with-mpv browser extension.
- The Trebuchet layout gave me the fewest problems when I mixed this site's CSS with TikTok's CSS, so that's why I'm using it for now.
- My framerate locally is much better than the screencast shows.

Thanks a lot for doing this.  I went ahead and merged the pull request, but I'm still not in a great position to do any admin or dev work on this.  I really shouldn't have left the data collection cron jobs running on my home machine for so long, but oh well.  When I get back online, I think I'll move the cron jobs to another server that I have access to so that the service is more resilient.

(Currently investigating termux to see if it can get me sufficiently online while I wait for the situation at home to improve.)

A little update: I've been using Termux on my phone to ssh into my remote server to try to get the data collection up and running again. 
Unfortunately, YouTube really doesn't like HTTP requests coming from my VPS's IP.  I ran your script on my server, and it worked once which now seems like a minor miracle in hindsight.  Since then, HTTP requests made via curl or yt-dlp get blocked by Google's anti-bot captcha.  I even tried to let yt-dlp on my remote server use cookies from my home server's Firefox, but that didn't work either.  It seems like getting those cron jobs to run on a remote server may not be possible due to the IP restrictions YouTube imposes.

Also, the hardware I need isn't coming in until Wednesday, so I'm just going to put this on hold until then.  Sorry about the wait.

Youtube has never denied my curl requests, and the cron scripts' yt-dlp requests haven't been denied since I last updated yt-dlp weeks ago. Just a few times at work on saturday, they 403'd my attempts to watch random videos in mpv. If blocking gets really bad for you and simple tricks like adding a user-agent header don't work, I think your last resort is to use https://github.com/lexiforest/curl-impersonate
yt-dlp's --impersonate option uses it to make requests.

- It was away for 7 days, so I told your script to go back 8 days.
- I backfilled the mscale table so that values wouldn't be missing, but I just assumed mscale was 1 over the last 7 days.

by default, loading org mode creates two temporary directories in /tmp/ for babel stuff. You can see them on your system with the prefix babel-, but since /tmp is read-only on vern, it fails. I found the two variables you can change by searching for "dir" in the variable name completion buffer for C-h v org-babel-. You can run elisp to change them.
