I don't think you've fucked around with DLSS enough to know the difference but usually, it's pretty decent for the later models running at balanced to look near native with a much better framerate, more or less. There will be upscaling artifacts but it's a lot less noticeable than TAA blur to me. The Xeno games just look like it's ultra performance (rendered at the lowest resolution possible) to 30 FPS and then like an inbetween frame that looks absolutely worse than framegen on 4000 series or later nVidia cards. It's using dated nVidia hardware but they all got access to newer models, too, they just are less performant than newer GPUs. It looks genuinely like something is fucked up with it in the porting. It's fucking awful.

DLSS, despite the kvetching, actually does look really good for the performance boosts it gives and as the model has been refined in versions, it's been increasingly good. The Switch 2 is on Ampere, the same gen as DLSS was introduced and the latest models are still usable on a 2000 series so it's just all the weirder than all the upscaling on the Switch 2 looks so fucking bad.
