ITT: real, mundane photographs appearing in the news (so newsworthy people) with "kino" value i.e. with enough aesthetic value to look like movie stills or paintings.
I just love these. The silhouettes of these poorly lit men strike and contrast against the background of the dark blue sky and the shining glare of the city far below. At the center lies a mad man, overflowing with spirit, clearly making an inspired speech to his followers, one of which plays a horn in the background. In the second picture the contrast is emphasized further in a clever game of black silhouettes. In the third, once again there are only silhouettes but the background is simpler and the sole lightning is the glare of the leader's cellphone through the fog. It's brilliant.

This is a scene with the villain describing his plans in a speech to a multitude of followers. He is clearly evil and gives off a dystopian, totalitarian aesthetic. He has a somber expression and drab, gray, militaristic clothing. The background is split between solid, evil red and the ghostlike, black and white, blurry and strange-looking face of his mastermind.

The color palette here is very dull, perhaps on purpose, and yet some patterns stand out. The horizon is wide and flat and before it there's only cattle as background and Zuckerberg (back facing the camera) in the front. He is clearly meditating on something.

> real, mundane photographs appearing in the news

none of the photographs here are mundane (as ordinary, routine), neither are they real (as non artificial and unembellished, a candid portrayal of the world)
specially in all the politically themed ones, already there's some measure of "screenplay" or "choreography" from the part of the protagonists and their seconds (to the cue of their respective PR/marketing/propaganda teams, most likely) and then there's the photographer layering the biases of his own optic (he chose a particular take on a particular scene with a particular angle and lighting) and then there's the photoshopper (who cropped it in this or that way, perhaps changing the focus or the context, and edited it here and there, perhaps de/emphasising this or that actor) ...
you seem a bit awed at how some of these photos (supposedly "real") echo this or that fictional setting (film/comic/game/whatever entertainment media) without stopping a second to notice that the people producing them also knew about those fictional settings (and they knew that you knew them)
you think the one taking that photo of chavez never saw similar representations of lenin?
you think the one snapping that one of xi jinping never saw an asian mafia themed film?
come one, these photographs were taken in order to appear in "the news", that should tell you enough

While I agree that all the illustrations of news outlets are produced - and used as tools of manipulations themselves - I rarely see any that has more value in it or notable in any way.
Liek here's this. It was probably cut, the focus was manipulated, maybe sharpened, but first it was previously chosen from many other pictures just for the facial expression with the slightly raised eyebrow. Ofc. Would belong in a collection of photographs that offer something artistic, or "poetic"? I don't think so.

thats the problem

you think theyre special but its the default output of the machine: everything other will be rejected (due to quality control)

nothing special in them, i may recommend to disconnect from matrix as well

my relative does promotion videos for megacorps, he spends MONTHS of work to make a 10m video

state channels/news are even worse

and the redone shit 1000 times before its accepted
