Thank you for the reply. I'll wait with kvas for summer though.

It's a drink made of rye bread. Technically it has alcohol but it's so low it's not mentioned on the bottles.
It's very good, although the taste is rather specific so it may not be for everyone.

It also can be made from rye malt with flour. Many breweries here do this, because technically process is almost same as with beer, so it is pretty easy to use existing production lines for this. Commercial kvas mostly made by breweries with that process here.

Oh, made by the Obolon. Their beer was popular here in past.

Ah I see, thanks. It seems it didn't manage to hold onto the market here. That would need bunch of advertisements because people have no idea what kvas is and if they just see it in a shop by chance only a few people would buy it. And then comes what you mentioned here: >>/41363/
> although the taste is rather specific so it may not be for everyone.
Oh well.
They made a Hungarian webpage for those products, but says not much who are them.

> Qiulin Group's history went back to 1867 when Ivan Yakovlevich Churin (October 16, 1833 - April 30, 1895), a Russian who was born in Irkutsk, opened a store in Nikolayevsk-on-Amur. In 1882, he established Churin & Co. (Чурин и Ко) in Khabarovsk in 1882.

> As the Chinese Eastern Railway was completed in 1904, Churin expanded his business to Harbin with the same name (Chinese: 秋林洋行). The current building of the company's department store is from 1904. Later his business further expanded to Lushun and Yingkou.[citation needed]

> After the Russian Revolution in 1917, Churin moved its headquarters to Harbin in 1923, and established its branches in Dalian, Mukden, Changchun, Siping, Jilin, Heihe and Hailar during the 1930s. It, however, became controlled by Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank in 1937, and was under Japanese management in 1941.

> After the Second World War, Churin was owned by the Soviet Union in 1947, and was returned to China in 1953. During the Cultural Revolution its name was changed to "The East Is Red" Department Store, but was changed to its original name in 1984. Qiulin Group was registered in the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 1996, and was acquired by Dalian's Dashang Group in the same year.[1][2]
