Going under.

Nice and pretty looking dungeon crawler indie game. I liek it. Really funny sometimes too.

Death road to cananda

Shit game. Hated it. Super unbalanced. Everyone walks like a turtle but the zombies in the game go as a fast as a marathon runner. Weapons break like nothing and weapon cooldown period is ridiculously bad.

I'm dawdling with Civ V. I think I prefer it over other Civ games for two reasons:
1. hexa map
2. can't stack units.
What's bugging me:
1. cant attach generals/admirals to units.
2. can't really fight proper battles
3. stupid civ characteristics, eg: Huns special unit 2 is battering ram - why? why not give em yurts or some shit like that or why include 'em if no good idea?
4. despite of huge variety of religious bonuses to chose, most of em are useless and pointless

This time trying cultural victory with Egypt. Never did that, looked up how Tourism works.
I think anything else than domination victory is stupid. Just grow numbers instead of moving chess pieces on the map. Did science victory too, I remember.

I saw some videos about it a long time ago as it was announced then I was in the mountains so I forgot about it.

Let's see what do I remember....

The art style is now less cartoonish than it was in 6 which is good. And also the unit appearnced seemed to be based on culture not just all the same like in other civs.
It now has civilizations split by age. So you would go Ancient China to mediaeval China to modern China.
But also could go Rome to Normans to Britain. Some cultures get options as to who they evolve into.
I was using three ages for illustrative purposes but I think there are more.

So the game does look interesting.

That does sound interesting.
Like in Civ V I don't mind playing Brazil, but sounds false to start with Pedro in over 9000 ago. Start playing with some kind of predecessor, then evolve into a newer iteration makes more sense.

You know, Bernd what would be a cool game:
Somalian Pirate Simulator!
It would be like a pimp-my-pirate-boat type of game with some crew management and bit of base building. Intended to be a bit comedic, tongue-in-cheek.
Could offer DLCs such as futuristic equipment (centered around drone warfare), mystical toolset (from sacrifices to various spirits to amulets), or target region expansion.
I believe this is a solid idea.

Never heard of that game. Although I don't browse console games.
Not really playing anything these days. Tho thinking about Fallout 4. I tried it not that long ago, but a version that cannot be modded and I checked there are some interesting mods out there.
I liked how they put the world together. It's more "full", better buildings, landscapes, so exploration is nice. Power armor is interesting. Story sucks, NPCs suck, conversations suck, quests suck, weapons suck, settlements suck, enemies are bullet soaks... The perk system and skill-lessness don't bother me. Crafting is meh... building stuff is interesting, but has issues and wonkyness. I saw a mod which snaps barricades together which sounds awesome, so I assume there are other mods that fix things. Music is great and fun.
And from F3, New Vegas, and 4 this is the one that runs flawless on my machine. F3 lags horribly, NV lags some.

Currently playing 2 games.

1) Dead Island 2. Looks pretty. Everything is highly detailed. Like playing Left 4 Dead 2 but on modern PC. Not as fast paced or gun focused as L4D2 though.

2) Fear and Hunger. Grimdark and macabre rogue lite game made in RPG maker. Really hard but rewarding experience. It's basically Dark Souls but turn based and pixelated. Made by just one mad lad from Finland.

Yeah probably engine fixes, changes.
I assume they do, along with the TES games.
Morrowind has a different engine, more like a prototype perhaps.

Am just playing a race or two in NFS Carbon.
Tried to "hack" Most Wanted so I could pick any car at the start of the game, but after getting the car, it gets buggy and no races appear and can't progress.
I don't want to start the whole thing again get the cars in order and spend only little time with the cars I fancy. I just want some cars I like, cruise around and do the story at my own wish.

By the time you read this I assume you advanced a lot with those games, so how they are going?

Has more soul too.

Gud game. I liek it.

> By the time you read this I assume you advanced a lot with those games, so how they are going?

Fear and Hunger is a little more immersive than DI2 so I'll probably take more time to review this one.

For Dead island 2, it good. Graphics look phenomenal. Interiors inside houses look well fleshed out and realistic. Like people actually live inside of them.

Combat is decent. More melee focused than L4D 1 - 2. Zombies get realistic damage all over their bodies. Their limbs and bones get affected like a real person when you hit them

Story's ok-ish to meh. Don't like most of the characters. But I think this game is more focused on playing CO-OP than focusing on single player narrative. Most sidequests in the game are just fetch quests or "survive this wave of zombies for X minutes"

Still an all over good game though.
