Probably a similar thing that happened with HW. I was having a talk with Josh about some technical issues on beta.8ch.net and there was an anon who, in the context, sounded a lot like HW. He said he is burned out and doesn't care about anything any more.

The BO is actually great as far as I know. Very chill guy who isn't afraid of having fun but also knows exactly when to stop. But perhaps it got to him too. Two site admins/owners we thought are one of us eventually succumbed.

The problem lied with anons, not the staff. Once stormfags started purging the undesirables, couple of weeks after they actually came in numbers, the locals not only didn't stand up against them but encouraged this. Maybe they thought it is funny?
