This specific album is not the same as the original game. It's CD quality (higher quality than the original game, even though the original game introduced recorded audio and video cutscenes to a lot of PC users.

Whole soundtrack is awesome, but was also kind of on the front of having recorded audio and FMV (cutscenes)

Interestingly cutscenes turned into cancer but were pretty dope when this game came out. The opening video, while describing the terrorist antagonist actually shows a bombing of a "trace center"

I guess if I was to give a newer Japanese developed game with good soundtrack (and not chiptunes), I would say Katamari Damacy. I never even played the game but listened to the soundtrack on the way to work every few days for 6 months (long commute, time to listen to shit). Always put me in a good mood

I'd embed the soundtrack but my youtube downloader is not working due to Mozilla's gigantic faggotry involving signed addons (walled garden shit) and I'm not seeing any legit addons in their addon library any longer. Fuck man

I can think of a few in previous titles that I prefer (might get off my butt and post them later). But from NL, this is definitely the best.
