South Korea President Faces Impeachment & Treason Charges After Power Usurping Coup Attempt

President Yoon Suk Yeol on Tuesday said he had no choice but to resort to declaring martial law to safeguard order.

He accused opposition parties for allegedly taking hostage of parliament to throw the country into a crisis and for sympathising with North Korea.

‘I declare martial law to protect the free Republic of Korea from the threat of North Korean communist forces, to eradicate the despicable pro-North Korean anti-state forces that are plundering the freedom and happiness of our people, and to protect the free constitutional order,’ he said.

Martial law involves the temporary rule by military authorities. It is usually invoked in time of war, rebellion, or natural disaster. Curfews are usually introduced, in addition to the suspension of civil law and civil rights. Civilians defying martial law being subjected to military tribunals. Yook did not say in the shock announcement – broadcast live on national television – what specific measures would be taken.

Troops enforcing martial law in South Korea attempted to enter the building of the National Assembly of the country, and there is a clash with citizens at the entrance. This was reported by the YTN television channel.

The South Korea parliament later ‘dissolved’ the Martial Law by vote, which they had the Constitutional right to do.

In South Korea, MARTIAL LAW IS OFFICIALLY OVER, after President Yoon’s cabinet approved his decision to back down.

The heads of government departments and senior secretaries of the South Korean presidential administration have resigned amid the situation with the introduction and lifting of martial law. The leading South Korean opposition party has stated that if the president does not resign, it will initiate impeachment proceedings. The opposition intends to accuse the President of South Korea of treason for declaring martial law.

Yeah, this Yoon Suk Yeol is a fucking idiot.
> from the threat of North Korean communist forces
North Korea isn't Communist. They're Socialist.
> to eradicate the despicable pro-North Korean anti-state forces
The very reason NK isn't Commie is because they're a Korean ethno-state. The very thing Commie left-tards are against. You could be sure that if NK was a state of white people, every kike submitted country would be on them like flies on shit.

Governments perform the authority over conducting policies, actions, affairs of states, organizations and people. They don't audit themselves for corruption. Of course a higher authority Branch than government would be ideal, but then who keeps them in line? Shit rolls down the ladder and stink rises to the top.

I have this feeling in my gut that the president is right and that he is indeed facing communist/woke anti societal movements like every other country is but that he panicked and made the worst possible move
