what you are asking is at best a caching chicken/egg problem (serving the board page on backend failure) and a syntactical error at worst, (asking for http 301 to not redirect)
the case being hit is appropriate to have it die hard.

yes, I was aware within 5 minutes of it going down but was unable to get a message on the homepage due to some other issues. Also was able to fix until all the money transfers finished.

Just the west frontend, this is why we have the east frontend

Communication between our frontend and LynxChan has failed. LynxChan has crashed, in the middle of restarting or can't be restarted. Give it a few seconds and reload.

It's happening just now on when connecting to the /overboard/.

Individual direct links to boards don't appear to be effected.

Bumping this thread up again because both .gg and .net are down for me. Do you guys know what's going on? It's been down for 2 days and it's kinda worrying.

Also getting a connection failure message sometimes before posting.

The recent downtime allowed us to be even faster:

That's MegaBytes (times 8 for megabits, most home connections are measured in bits). So enjoy the new bandwidth speeds.

I laughed.

Thanks means a lot.

Which is really strange because we only has 2 spinning rusts on the original server. I guess it's double the read even though it takes a hit on the write speed. But you think posting a message would need write speed not read... But it's lynxchan nothing surprised me about how it performs. I'll try working on updating the software since I don't have to worry about user traffic now, we can return to our original state of a dead board with no users.

> UPDATE: 2018-08-07 3:24AM PDT - Memory upgrade went smoothly, let us know if any more 500 errors pop up!

Once - but only once - and it reloaded quickly after just a couple refresh clicks. Website is running very nice so far.

I would not be surprised a "free" VPN service blocks sites like this. As they say, "nothing is really free" so beware of those "free" VPNs as they might be honeypots set up by some alphabet agency.

My private VPN service is cheap as fuck and I have not been blocked once, I can shut it on or off when I desire, or change my IP any time I choose. No logging policies and military grade end-to-end encryption included with the private VPN service. Well worth the measly cash spent.

THIS. The same tranny spammer began wrecking /b/ recently, after trying to wreck /news/ and a few other boards too. This spammer is an asshole, he is not funny, he deliberately wrecks boards and sabotages any conversation likely because he's too autistic to create a conversation himself. If you dare trigger the spammer, he'll spam dicks all over the thread. If you try holding a debate, same fiasco will likely unfold. If you speak your mind and he even thinks you are criticizing him, he'll spam more dicks. If you try to counter or report his spam, he'll just spam more and more until his proxy IP ranges are banned. Its not funny, there is nothing humorous about being such a spastic lunatic.

I just saw him spamming /AM/ the other day. Did report it to their BO. I don't know why he is so obsessed with male genitalia - perhaps he really is just gay - but he just likes posting sick pics and ruining threads. Also, the guy actually claims he works for an intel agency who is "monitoring" us. So he could be crazy or perhaps he is some kind of JTRIG psyop trying to destroy his alleged "enemies" while leaching off the very taxpayers he seems to hate. Either way, sad.

On June 28th, our hosting company started to migrate us to their Switzerland datacenter without notice, they estimated 5 days of downtime.
On June 29th, we were given some options. We could either stay down until monday and then moving everything ourselves over or wait a few couples and they would just copy what we have but we'd be given a new IP.
I opted for the few hours of down time, since we can change IPs quickly.
Late on the 29th, I asked how it was going, didn't get a response until the 30th that things were slow.
Late on the 30th, I asked about status, got an update on the 1st that the copy was done.
I was told we were back online but we weren't. I had to wait until late July 1st to get this resolved with their support.
Also the new server is a bit slow because they're still moving sites over to it.

At least we won't have the billing transfer issues on the 5th like we used to. Hopefully things will stay stable after all this nonsense.

I finally read Wednesday's Q post.
(I don't read the untripped bullshit)

Yeah, that girl was definitely a plant… made the whole January 6th bullshit end or at least a lot less credible in many normies eyes.

Odilitime, I have been having problems with this site since the last 12 hours.

First off, when I tried accessing this site in the morning I got the "502 Bad Gateway nginx" error.

Later on, I was able to access this site. Now my replies are not loading correctly and it seems I can no longer load images or media files either.

This leaves me in a massive rut! When I reply I get the "connection failed" popup, but eventually the reply will show up, if I am lucky. If I try to send another reply it freezes but will post double or triple replies, depending on the number of attempts.

WHAT IN THE NAME OF GOD HAPPENED!?

Proof, see image here: https://www90.zippyshare.com/v/BCizamDz/file.html

Ah, thanks for the info. Without any the users cannot know what's going on, if the board is done for good, how much they should wait or if they should just give up and move to other chans. Or if you even know about the problems we're experiencing (you could be sleeping or working or whatever). Communication is essential. No one wants lengthy novels just a few words so we can keep calm. Uncertainty is shit.
