I have almost no personal experience. I bought salvia once, managed an interesting trip but decided it wasn't actually life changing aside from helping me understand dreaming of things that aren't while I'm awake isn't the benefit I'd heard some make it out to be.

I took a shot of THC once. I have no idea what the perceived benefit is supposed to be; I found nothing desirable in that experience.

I used to read trip experiences out of sheer curiosity but have no personal experience for a mix of reasons. Scientifically I am open to them being used to treat depression and think some areas they might be helpful in limited dosages but have some skepticism on them frying people's minds more than their proponents would like to admit.   Religiously I distrust them immensely. Especially ones popular for contacting supposed benevolent entities. All and all, I considered them not worth it for most people.

Sunset Shimmer in pony form appeared in a dream but she was only a background element. Apartment complex had some other strange things happening like a clown that ate eels and TV that just kept getting louder and louder.

For what it's worth, I heard of people get pretty wrecked by them. I am not strongly pro or anti psychedelic and just consider it a thing I am probably too chicken to try.

I had a stranger dream but not scary despite what it may sound. The mane 6 were living cookies that a family member had baked. They looked a bit off/oddly stretched but not quite in a creepy way. They never spoke. Someone said something angry and I
remember Twilight going :o, but I don't have a good picture to illustrate that exactly right now.  I can recall nothing else.

I like the ides of using blue text, or should I say, bluetext, for certain story formats here. in the past I have had trouble with some of the special color formating as well in the past. This very thread actually. 

The story, if you write keep that idea in your back pocket, I think you might be able to do something with that premise.

I've been plagued by a certain insomnia that seems rather odd. My dreams are short and bizarre segments were certain assumptions (say toast is a special type of flower) feel true and I am jolted awake briefly believing they are true.

I don't want to play cryptic for attention but even though we sometimes discuss such things here it's just some stuff that is very deep and very personal and it has kind of affected everything with me. But yes I was a bit tired, though I think not exhausted, so that's why my pacing is so off.

In other news I think I'm actually, really, finally over the whatever-it-was that went straight for my lungs. Which is nice because its hard to sleep when your lungs stick/lock up when you try laying prone.

In yet other news, it's eggnog season, so my diet will be dairy-heavy for a few months.

No luck on seeing the any auroras down in my part of Texas. Might had the chance last night, but was unaware. 

Otherwise, haunted, slightly. For a variety of reasons. 

As far as dreams go, mostly boring and really mundane. Like it's been mostly just me going about my business but as a dream minus a handful that were odd and sometimes VERY creepy.

That dream has still left an impact that has been slowly fading. Feeling better from it at least. My recent dreams have been far more fuzzier and mundane. I am not sure if my stress finally got too high that I burned out or recent stuff with my relatives has distracted me, lol. What else, whenever I open my mouth I try to have a specific point to a post but here... I think in general I just feel like posting and saying things. 

Art, art, I've drawn and written little things all my life, but rarely shown anyone my full output or effort. Bleh, this is starting to feel too, something. I wanted to say /blog/, but in /endpone/ blogging is something of a tradition. I think I am just tired and rambling a bit. 

Always have had a mix of mundane expectations and high ambitions for personal projects around here and everything always feels in limbo, minus the thread rewatch I ma getting to that review soon. Lot of half finished things that I would like to do a little better on, lol at least with /go/.

Yeah, the austism tag wins out otherwise. Still cool with what I can do with it though. 

Princess Luna gazed softly upon the moon. It looked back, unloving. unloving Luna thought to herself, a small smile formed on her lips, though it was a sad one. The moon, as much as it was connected to her, had been a harsh prison for one thousand years. It was hard for her to feel the love for it she once did; yet it was still there, persisting like a thorn in her heart. Her trauma couldn't take away the connection she held to Equestria's primary natural satellite in the sky, as much as she felt conflicted, there was conviction in duty and a faith, however fleeting, that she would heal.

Princess Luna could feel the dreams of everypony calling her. It was in itself a burden, but one that came in a routine which she could bury   herself in and avoid everypony. Not that she wanted to avoid everypony but she wanted to avoid most of the ponies that Celestia had to deal with. Snooty and prideful, her own hyper specific royal manners, well rehearsed and natural, were an impediment to socializing and wining and dining. She now could manage to be in the presence of this new and unfamiliar elite but it was an artificial  facade that sometimes had cracks in the armor. Dreams were much more her element and in some cases, found true connection with ponies.

I find his apologetic tone unnecessary for the length of his song. Maybe it's just me but he seems sincerely a bit insecure about that fact. Is there some zoomer faux pass that I am missing? Pic related as well.

I would not have guessed AI assistance until we really got into Princess Luna/Nightmare Moon's anger. I could tell then. This is also an example of art that blurs the line between the puritan crowds that are forming on either camp (people who hate artist vs artist who hate people using AI). This is an artist using AI to make better art. Funny enough, I am a distruster  of AI myself, though I don't oppose things like this on a philosophical level. As long as their human input it is still art in the truest sense.

Haunting unusually cool spring day with the wind blowing forth. I hear distant wind chimes. It's cold wet, and slightly gloomy, but such weather I have often enjoyed as strange as it may seem. 

God bless to any other souls out there. Sometimes take a moment and listen to what is around outside the digital screens.

Had a pretty frightening /dream/, but only a glimpse, a feeling without a memory as to why. The sort of deep existential dread of object doom that is a dull background noise. Funny in a way.

I love this gif. It makes me think of the type of small gifs and reaction image used on old sites like Livejournal and Dreamwidth. I never new nor used those sites in their prime and only looked for pony stuff their much later on. Their cultures on the other hand are antithetical to me as a person.

And thanks for the encouragement: rain, there is more than one building  I have to deal with that has holes/damage and when it rains, it often rains inside too, I have to deal with, so that expression was very literal.
