А зачем создавать такие трёхмерные модели? Тем более бесплатно.
В чём профит?

Я понимаю смысл проектов вроде защищённой радиосвязи на длинных волнах. Чтобы можно было повесить за окно антенну и переписываться в чате с e2e шифрованием по радио через тысячу километров. Желательно с поддержкой ППРЧ, чтобы не глушилось ничем. И чтобы работало на условной малине и рандомной рации моторолла. Вот было б круто. Что-то материальное и полезное.

Я так понимаю это Flight Simulator с элементами шутера, причём люди вероятно пилят какой-то именно симулирующий смулятор, которых на пальцах посчитает даже безрукий. (А не всякие леталки на топоре с крутым мотором в условиях Луны, а то и вообще какого-то фентезийного пространства с абсолютно левыми законами физики)
...ну или по крайней просто какую-то свою нетленку. И картинкой пока даже не занимались.

...Жаль ничего не могу достаточно осмысленного склеить английскому чуваку, а односложно на его вопросы, впрочем и без меня уже ответили.

If it is a regular map, a gig or 2 ram.

If it is a city, with texture resolution set to as high as possible: 4gb or more gb of ram.

It just depends on what you are loading. How many weapons, how many models, how many buildings, which maps, etc.

If it cannot do that then it is not money.

The why is simple: Why did I program Wolfenstine:Enemy territory map format into the engine? Because I like the 1000 maps from Wolfenstine:EnemyTerritory. Are you trying to troll me? Because it's working. Why for the minetest obj export compatability ? Because I liked the vast worlds minetest made and didn't like that it took a day to import one into gtkradiant. Now you can do it in about a min if you use the git branch included in the ISO. As for why I want other formats? That is simple too: I made maps for Unreal 1997 and Unreal Tournament 1999. In this game we have implemented weapons similar to the various Unreal weapons.

(You can enter all the houses and buildings, they all have interiors. They also have level of detail so when you are furthur away a less detailed mesh is shown.)

You have: Tctllayer: 0.3kt
Atomlayer: 15 kt (shown)
and another that is 1.5 MT.

The third you can, as a server admin, set the yeild of via the radius.
In the code itself you can set such aswell when programming (radius, multiplicatives, etc)

mmm maybe (if i'm not remember) this is first FPS/flying sim in what player can nuke somewhat.
seamless interiors in actual size of modern town - this is hard.

Look like not regular. Maybe try to download & run in future. But hot want to do this now. ... Also watching at you screens feel this is some in alpha-stage of development and scarcely not playable by a typical player (no story line, etc)
... for me - single player only. Not like "online" type of gaming.

Hope letters top are not full balderdash. I'm so so in understanding english, but in reverse direction all greatly worst.

It's a free, opensource project. It's been being worked on for decades. You get what you pay for.

All the buildings you can go into.
In commercial games everything looks nice but you cannot tactically use the buildings.

Why is that? Why do they keep you out of the buildings? There must be a reason.

Here you can go in and use them for planning, fighting, hiding, etc.

In commercial games you cannot usually.
