Palememe is a pain in the ass to use and doesn't work with most sites. I don't recommend it to anyone aside from turbo autists who live on barebones websites like the LKML or imageboards. Never used Ungoogled Chromium but it seems like a decent project for people who just want a straightforward experience that isn't harvesting everything 24/7.
Personally, I use Firefox with some modifications and select Extensions. It just werks 4 me and is reasonably private/secure enough.
