You can specify timestamps in the streams, a from and to.
Example:

ffmpeg -i input.mkv -ss 00:15:25 -to 01:02:14 output.mp4

Here the -ss is the start time and -to is the ending.
It's better to control the codec used for the encoding, to make sure it's compatible with the container, and in your case if you want to upload, it's better to have something that plays in the browser, that's libx264.
Example:

ffmpeg -i input.mkv -ss 00:15:25 -to 01:02:14 -c:v libx264 output.mp4

The new is the -c:v which is "coded:video".
This is the basics for your use case.

Simply just collect the timestamps you need and you can recycle the same command over and over, replacing the timestamps.
If the first part starts at the beginning of the video, you don't need to add the -ss option.
If the last part ends with the end of the video then you don't need -to.
I think that's about it.

i need someone else to help me with this for reasons that make me unable to do this by myself at current time. added to that, suggesting to use cli/command line interface while gui option exists is a big reason to not listen. cli posters should be asking themselves why even cli

why use gui is a question with answer so obvious at first sight that anyone asking this feels like a troll. outside of this, will anyone help? do suggest a filehost for me to send to. i can only think of catbox at this time
