She'd be awesome, a prodigy that her Mom's old college would kill to have...

Except she falls apart under pressure/public attention, so she goes from hitting holes-in-one in every time to accidentally sending golf clubs airborne. (Last time she sort of did both, but it only counts if the BALL goes in the hole, not the club handle.)

> She'd be great as a javelin thrower

Yeah, right up until she accidentally impales the judges with a single javelin.

A judge-kebab if you will.

Actually, maybe this whole thing could be a theme: Loan is actually every bit as weirdly talented as the rest of the Loud Family, but her talents run on Monkey's paw rules.

She's every bit as capable as the high-strung Lori (going by Dictator Lori characterization here) might want in a daughter. But ONLY when unobserved. The second anyone is there to witness her: she promptly breaks down under social anxiety causing failure and abject disaster.

There's the rub. Lori rushes in and gets overbearing since she sees Loan's potential. Loan gets anxious and fucks everything she touches.
Since Loan is a fuckup Lori pushes harder.
Since Lori is pushing harder Loan fails even harder.
And the cycle continuous until Loan goes full NEET for a month and Lori backs off until Loan does something good when no one's looking and it all gets reset to step one.

> Lori- We've been over this sweetie. Just do it like you did when I was looking somewhere else.

> Loan- I..I don't know how..I just can't do it now.

> Lori- Uggh, Fine. Let's just take a break, maybe a little rest and the mojo will start rolling again. (Walks back to room)

> Loan-... (waits then effortlessly sinks a hole on one) Sigh..Why can't it ever be this simple?

A never ending cycle that eludes them both.
Lori wants a shining diamond and think she just needs to focus and put more pressure on, and Loan will be great.
Loan is actually like dough, she's formed and great when unbothered. She'd be great if she didn't have so anxiety, impostor syndrome, fear of failure, etc... all from a demanding audience of one, MOM.

If they reined in each other or Lincoln could be the middleman between them, they might be an unstoppable parent-child duo.

Until then, the cycle continues. Loan goes into a habit of being extremely good at something.
Lori goes all in on it trying to coach and craft her to be unstoppable.
They both annoy and disappoint each other before fizzling out.
Lincoln cleans up the pieces and soothes them both to ground level.

This happened even without Green and Midgar. Vale was perfectly content with his characters only being used for porn. Look at his Clyde kids for instance. Even before Midgar and Green, they were only used for lewds. If it wasn't for Pat and Chip getting involved, the same thing would've likely happened to Cleo and Allie.
 >>/19083/
Vale has made characters before, there was Cloud, Clover, Crimson and he made Allie (Leda)

 >>/19085/
I can't even blame Pat, Green or whoever picked them up. (Ok I still blame Green because fuck him.) But you're right, at the time the artists got involved with the characters and could've been made into something they ended up just Blacked pronstars with the last name Loud.
 >>/19089/
All his characters eventually faded into obscurity. Not from lack of trying of course, but due to bad choices. The Clyde kids are in limbo between being Clydes kids or somehow someway Lincoln's kids. I don't think anyone besides DA thinks about Allie anymore.
