You like Dead by Daylight? Their early work was belittle noob saves as a waist. But when Portrait of a Murder came out November 2021, I think they really gamed into their zone, eternally and realistically. Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance causes clear, crisp screams of survivors causing them to be downed, and delightful fleeing compensates dealing with intersectional feminism that really causes Dead by Daylight to seduce. Victims aren't always scared let me dispel this fellows, but I think the survivors have far more Twitter morals like a tumor. In October 2017, Devs released this: Nightmare!, the most demolished victims. I think their best polluted killer is "Nemesis". A murderer so catchy, most survivors probably don't position away when he rips. But they should, because it's not just about pressuring minorities and the performance of friends. It's also reversing for blatant finesse see for yourself. No gun, no mall! Put on a mask and save Anglos like you have foresight, you fuckin stupid bastards!
F-Zero sequel when Nintendo? Why do you delay these things so much for zero reason? Christ compels you

How do you make a game without any random elements?

1. Use conditionals instead: the world reacts to the actions taken by the player (or lack thereof) since the start of the game.
For example, depending upon the state of the world (such as changes caused by the player or game clock) and the time from the start of the game's clock, certain types of enemies will act in accordance with one set of rules when they are unaware of the player (or their actions), another ruleset when they are partially aware of the player (or their actions), and another when they are fully aware.

2. for some things that would otherwise operate on a basis of chance (such as a skill that has a 25% chance of dealing double damage when used), you can instead replace it with some criteria that would activate the event once met, for example the skill mentioned above may deal double damage every fourth time it has been used, or will deal double damage if used on a certain enemy, or in a certain location on the enemy, or when the enemy is in a certain state (less than half health, on fire, etc.)

3. Initial item placements and drops would be fixed, as would the initial placement of enemies, every map would always be the same, and both encounters and npc's may appear in certain areas based on the clock and game state, not by chance.

- the world would feel more real -

Basically the whole world of a game without randomness would be deterministic, but deterministic in the same way our world is, were every prior input from the past creates the state of the present, which in turn creates the output of the future, if you know everything about the universe in any previous state, you can use that data to predict every state it would take from that point on, but there is so many bits of data and there are so many different ways they interact with one another, that it may as well be random from, our perspective.

A world of rules, plain and simple, cause and effect, everything is an equation, an algorithm, simply one of such scale that we may never be able to solve it.
After the thread was so rudely interrupted on 8ch, let's talk some more about Underrail and it's newest expansion.

I have been designing a Computer ID ("CID") spoofer--considering that the CID generation algorithm is known--for BYOND, and thought about adding an impersonation functionality to it. (i.e., you could set your CID to that of someone else's and basically steal their identity, or even get them banned on SS13 servers.)
So far it is working good, albeit a bit slow as it has to brute force all the possible combinations and match them against the CID obtained from BYOND's algorithm.

But this would require that you know the victims' CID prior to the spoofing process, and this means spending some time on first getting to find out their' CID's.
However, I remember that approximately one year ago there was a database leak of Hippie Station which contained a lengthy list of all of their (somewhat size-able) playerbase Client Keys ("CKEY") in addition to their CID's. (Meaning that you don't have to setup a trap to find out the victims' CID anymore.)

I been in search of said leak for the past few days now, but so far have had little luck in finding any clue as all the threads on 4chan or other forums would lead to dead links or only small portions of the leak. I was wondering if anyone here happens to have full access to it and is willing to share it with me.

Dear Nintendo
It is your fearless underboss, extendo not yet super extendo.

In good faith I request an actually very and extremely fun ge, beyond the ordinary moderately fun game.

I suggest: a Mario tennis game where you get to your ball like a super Mario 64 star to hit it. Besides that your character runs and jumps with the same or greater powers than super Mario 64 Mario. A super smash bros aspect added would be a good thing. Then after we all tee off we can chase each others characters down and squash their heads and punch them and stuff, it would be cool. I know some cohesion of dynamics would make the game playable in multiplayer. I like making Mario run and jump around in super Mario 64.

I think this requires about ten dark years in the think tank to brainstorm.

So the new age people who collect healing stones (just rocks and gems).....do they think they're playing a RPG? I mean they seem to think certain stones will protect them from debuffs like cancer, poison, or bad energies that would power down their attack points.

Sounds like a great idea for a video game...picture yourself walking around Portland, Oregon fighting antifa, angry heavy metal fans, anarchist punks, Wiccans, and methheads on skateboards. Later you must collect the special rings from conservative sororities to unlock the seal on the dean's heart and free Evergreen University from liberal tyranny.

There could even be a level where you have to escort RICHARD DAWKINS past crazy liberals and Muslims into the heart of irrational America: Berkley. In his radiant presence all of the magical rings lose their effect.

Is P2P multiplayer still a thing in PC gaming? I remember in the old days if you had your friend's IP you could connect to eachother and get some online games going between 2 or multiple people.
No gamespy or any server login.
Everyone uses steam now, but do any newer games have a P2P multiplayer option?

name some old games too if any come to mind that are good multiplayer games with a P2P option. It used to be a given that a multiplayer game would have this, but like couch coop, its becoming harder to find. I would like to gather a collection of games that i could still play mutltiplayer with friends, even if servers close.

Hisoutensoku is an expansion to Touhou 10.5 SWR and is a multiplayer fighting game made by Tasofro with ZUN's approval. It's easy to learn, hard to master battle system makes for fun and fast paced matches with counterhits often launching girls across the screen. Very fast when played right. As a P2P game, game hosts must forward ports in order to play it or use specific workarounds.

Full installation: https://mega.nz/#!ashhnZza!cWdD2mqnQSfpzow5h_LDABQzHOnAiHDL62ceAOF6z9k

Extract into the folder of your choice. After launching th123e.exe, wait one or two seconds and then launch SokuRollLoader.exe to enable netplay. To host, hosting player forwards a port (detailed instructions are available on the internet) and provides IP with a port in an IP:Port format, launches the game with sokuroll and uses the Vs Network menu to start the server. Client connects to provided IP and port and plays game.

I am selling my game collections and am leaving gaming as a hobby, except for DooM and Morrowind, pretty much. Even selling what digital games I can. GOG has offered to help me empty my library so I am making an offer to you guys and around the web. I am trading in my games for credits, and will use those GOG store credits to buy gifts and send them to other GOG accounts. I want crypto in return. I'm willing to go between 25% and 50% of the current price of what the game is worth right now on GOG. So I'll use the credits to gift to the person who wants the game in return for half the cost to be sent to me in crypto. I'm selling my physical games but can't really sell my steam games (no help from them right now). I won't make back my total cost, that's not my goal; it's just to resell some used games, pretty much. Please respond here or DM me if you would like to partake in the offer. If this doesn't fit here please redirect me elsewhere. Thank you.
My Gt is Tiger Country on xbox. Send me the most fucked up things ever. Doing this for a social experiment. So do your worse guys.
This game is fuckin rabbit hole. Anybody else think that ?
Why won't there be a JRPG that just lets me play the fucking game? I don't even care if the battles are repetitive as shit like Valkyria Chronicles II, just let me slap together a party, jump into gameplay and progress the story through special attacks or something. Like instead of the fucking Meteo you just slap a cutscene in there, so I have a reason to farm opportunities to use special attacks even if they're shit at combat.

A thread for all your FPS needs. A non-exhaustive list of good FPS:
Unreal Tournament

Serious Sam

What was the last FPS you played?
What did you enjoy about it?
What mechanics or design elements set it apart from other games?
What are some bosses that really make you angry? This motherfucker from Metal Slug 5 really grinds my gears.
You know, conspiracy theorizing used to be pretty fun before all these underage jewtube goys started shouting it down with "A GAYYYYYMM THEORY!!!1" as if it was that copypasting shill who invented it.
tbh I used to hate the franchise as a whole, I just didn't like the concept. boring tail missions and being forced to play stealth all the time was something that I really loathed.
But then I played ass origins and my view has completely changed. No more tailing missions, the game gives you the complete freedom to play it however you like and want (different ways to approach enemies and situations, you're not forced to do stealth any more), and the combat has been reworked to the hit-box system instead of the lame ass boring paired animations system that has been used in the previous asscreed games.

Also not to mention the skill tree and the fuck ton of different weapons that have been added to the game, pic related.

Assassin's Creed Origins is a masterpiece, let me elaborate:

>RPG elements
>Sandbox system
>Improved AI
>Great details (the attention to complexity in this game is just so damn good)
>Gigantic world with tons of interesting things to discover (The map is as big as GTA V's map + there's an additional downloadable map i.e DLC)
>Great environment
>Every city feels alive
>You can literally climb anything
>Challenging combat system (especially if you play it on the max difficulty, you die from two hits), no more paired animation system, it's now a hit-box system
>Great story, Great Protagonist
>Interesting easter eggs, mysteries, and very fun side quests (The only problem I have with the side quests is the cutscenes, 80% of the side quests cutscenes are the robotic type where two characters just stand still in front of each others and talk, tbh the robotic cutscenes are not that much of a problem for me as long as the side quests are fun and memorable. I prefer quantity over quality)
yes, this game has plenty of mysteries to solve that don't have anything to do with the main story. Kinda cool r8?

In conclusion: 8/10
The game is really fun and doesn't feel empty even after you finish the story, there's always a shit ton of things to do and discover, it's almost endless.
Can't give it a 10/10 tho since side quests can sometimes get repetitive (Quantity over quality), the story pacing is kinda awkward, it takes you a couple of hours to get right into the action and start experiencing the fun this game has to offer, and last but not least the optimization in this game is shit, get ready to experience a fuck ton of framedrops (Talking about PC).

Basically it's The Witcher 3, Dark Souls, Thief, and Tomb Raider mixed
Anyone knows anything about it? It was used in Rayman 2, 3, Tonic Trouble and a few other 3D Ubi games from late 90s/early 00s. Looking for modding resources, or at least some info, but there's literally nothing online.
ITT we post our top 5 favorite games in order to get to know each other a little bit and celebrate the fact that we got rid of the cake kike. I'll start, feel free to criticize my normalfag taste:

1. Ocarina of Time
2. Super Mario 64
3. Splatoon 2
4. Dark Souls
5. Final Fantasy 7
So I'm close to beating Lost Sphear and even though it has a generic story, there are some very thought out abilities, mechanics, and boss battles that challenge you (If you play). Like these games actually came from people who have played RPGs over a long time instead of the stock follow trend setters at square pushing action games. Then I hear the same thing about I am Setsuna. Is Oninaki fit this description as well for an action RPG and they are a company with some kind of substance or is it all in my head and they just have a couple of good things by mistake.

Anyone ever play this game Zorbus? I stumbled across it on Roguebasin and wasn't expecting much. But it's actually a pretty decent roguelike. Dungeon levels are randomly generated, but the rooms are intelligently structured and themese. There is also a lore to the world, with books to read. AI is somewhat dynamic. Creatures will interact and there are hierarchies with superiors the smaller creatures answer to. You can also recruit friendlies.
I'm posting this so you guys won't create conspiracy theories.
I know, my hope us futile.
What year was the absolute worst for video games?
New & big patch for the game is out, and The new expansion can be played now if you preorder it (It weird, yes, and I havent done it yet).
Talents have been reworked, and the mechanics too, with combat being somewhat slower too. I only played 2 games on Legend as Slayer & Ironbreaker (And I forgot to change the talents mind you!), and Slayer with 2 Axes+Pickaxe no much change, but I died more easily tough. Again, Dint put talents well.
Now Ironbreaker with Shield feels heavier and better, and with the talents about stagger, it should even better.
I will ask this small question for those that played beta and more: What is the thing with the talent that make first enemy hit as staggered? Is any enemy instantly staggered or what? And its worthy to get it over the other ones of that level?
Post your tough on the new changes, and any builds.
How's that self-imposed challenge coming along, anon? You do attempt to challenge yourself occasionally, don't you... ?

Daily reminder Diablo II was a dumbed down skinner box designed primarily for multiplayerfags while Diablo I was a dungeon crawler that started out as a more action focussed take on Roguelikes. Every 'Diablo clone' since then has actually been a Diablo II clone taking all the wrong lessons about an addiction loop instead of quality gameplay.

Looks like we're here for the duration. I doubt 8chan is coming back any time soon and even if it does it'll be temporary. Given that how about a thread on improving this board? I'll start:
1: some actual interaction with the moderation (a permanent meta thread for example)
2: reduce the maximum number of pages at least until the board gets faster. Halving it would help avoid a bunch of dead threads.
3: a basic visible rules page or sticky

And ditto for improving endchan itself
1: somewhere to interact with whoever's running the actual site, like a non-shit /sudo/
2: either posting where to find the board moderation logs or adding it to the software endchan is using.
3: a general upgrade to the default css of endchan to be less fucking terrible

Im not even a streamer watcher, but the polemic with that Ninja faggot have made me discover Mixer. And I must say that, compared to the few time I went to Twitch, it worked better than Twitch. But that my small experience with both sites.
Because maybe I start using one of the stream sites (Watching some streams is not bad to enjoy), I want to bee sure if Mixer is all that good, or if anyone here thinks Twitch is better. Mixer only problem at first look is that is in the hands of Microsoft; But still Twitch with is retarded policies doesnt make it appealing. So redpill me on these sites. Or is there any better (And populated enough) alternative to these two sites?

I like this guy and his crusade against Games as a Service, and he has made a good collection of single player indie games I haven't heard of.
Download link here: https://files.fm/u/2hzrfdzj

Fleeing the Complex is basically a flash game and to play this game you should have Flash Player and Adobe Air in your device. One can play this game in this smartphone, tablet, computer and laptop. Henry Stickmin is the hero of the game and in this sequel of the game due to his past actions he is imprisoned in an area named as The Wall.
Destroyed by rampart mismanagement (i.e. corruption.) It's sad how too much money can often easily destroy projects, which is the opposite of what you'd think. The best games are often indie games now rather than soulless commercial junk food.

So I pirated 1.15 version of this game and even if I unlock something it's not saved, what to do? Do any of you know how to deal with this?

I want to kill the faggot who coined this term. Soulsborne is a piece of shit genre since Dark Souls 1,2, and even 3 are EXTREMELY different than Bloodborne. Bloodborne rewards speed and precision, while Dark Souls rewards load out preparations and patience. Sure there are speed demons in Dark Souls, but they're an outlier once you realize how UNGODLY TANKY enemies get past NewGame+. Yes DEX and Endurance builds are a thing, but to get them to be viable you still need lots of planning and scavenging of materials. Additionally the movement speed of the character doesn't improve invincibility frames, in fact the slower you are, the more i-frames you have, specially in Dark Souls 1 where fat rolling is AN EXTREMELY viable tactic.

The games actually punish you for rolling faster when it comes to rolling through attacks. Hell shield bonuses such as the eponymous grass crest shield show that the game was designed around shield usage. This is in stark contrast to Bloodborne where, yes loadouts are a thing, but reaction time and speed always wins the day. It's not like in Dark Souls where you can pop a Havel's/Smough Set and poise through attacks and cheese bosses with strategy. Sorry for the ranting but I just had to get this out of mind this springbreak due to interacting with some retarded relatives.
And other memes.
Game stop is struggling and looking for a buyout. I have long hated thst evil company, bonzai!
i want to play minecraft

does anyone else want to play minecraft?
Why does he look so sad?
for the next 29 hours GOG is giving away Ziggurat, this is your heads up.
Shiet, I wish I could play a song and teleport to my house.
I wonder if gamers will switch to Android in part so they can use their steam games, assuming Google does what Apple didn't.
I posted this thread before but I think during the server change it was lost, I'm going to post it again for that reason.

I have this autistic thing where I can't enjoy games unless playing them in chronological order. Playing a sequel (or even a newer installment) feels wrong, but I don't really enjoy using the outdated mechanics of retro games so I'd like to start a thread in order to have an idea on where to start in a game series.

I figured I may as well start Metal Gear games from Metal Gear Solid 3, but I'd appreciate if you could give me a good place to start on the following Tom Clancy series';
>Rainbow Six
>Ghost Recon
>Splinter Cell

Feel free to ask for other recommendations too if need be.
And this is why I've refused to deal with any big corps localizing shit. This time the culprit is Crunchy Roll who are looking to monopolize the anime subbing scene as well.

One can only wonder what anime subs will be censored by these fucks.
This is a thread for documenting the development of my video game, W.O.R.M. Gear Online (subject to change in the future). I've been working on this for about 3 months now. Most of the Client/Server code is already done, because I'm salvaging it from a more ambitious project that was already quite developed. W.O.R.M. Gear Online is a 3D FPS, except instead of translating along the ground, the player is a flying drone, so we can translate vertically as well. The bulk of the weapons and drones are finished being developed, but still need a lot of fine tuning (e.g., is the shotgun too weak/OP?). I would also like to say that I'm on the look out for a level designer, and/or anyone else willing to contribute as a tester when the alpha is released. It's all so tiresome as a 1 man "team." Anyways, I keep my chin up, and plod on as always. Nietzsche once said, "An artist needs only his art, and his bread." In those days, paint and brushes were much simpler, notwithstanding period-blood paintings. Happy trails, lads. Will post progress here.
How long do I have to play this game before it gets good? I tried it a few months ago but the combat felt clunky and weird and the quests were overly scripted. Only got a few hours in. I liked Witcher 1 though.
Well, that's that. I'm not sure how long until this too becomes obsolete information, but for now there's going to be some more support for the 3DS, at least breaking the pattern of pushing a neat leftover hardware out (GBA Micro, Wii Mini, 2DS XL) just before the console's official death.
the tumblr page got taken down agens ago
the wordpress page got taken down recently

where is it now?
Is there an RPG out there with similar movement mechanics like Silent Storm/Jagged Alliance but melee combat focused? No I don't feel like treading through FFT or Waifu Emblem, I need something else.
Is Galgun fun? I tried it with a ps3 controller and it was boring but I bet it would be fun with the Occulus Rift. It's the only VR game I'm interested in atm.

I'm considering the ramifications of what if Amiibos were empty game cartridges, that allow the holder to download an entire game from a digital marketplace and store it.
If you like this game you're either a SJW or Generation ipod.
Any decent arcade games to play in MAME?
>all dlc is free
>at least a handful of servers with active players
>mod support
>swastika isn't censored because muh feelings and inclusivity
>100% playable on linux through wine
>probably other stuff I can't think of off the top of my head
This game is better than cod4 tbh.

Have you ever just read a sentence and felt your entire skeletal structure lurch forward with such force it wants to rip out of your skin and scream into a pillow?
do you like any education games?
magical girl rpg at school looks pretty cool.
Post old youtubes.
it was an amazing game
I would play this and beat the crap out of Jesus.
Did they really? He also mentions something about car company employees paying more taxes than the companies themselves. How deep does Deus Ex go?

The OP looks kind of cool huh? Weird that I never heard about it.
is dokidoki literature club, (a visual novel) good? It sounds gimmicky.
Which ones do you watch? The only one I sometimes look at is Ross Scott who does Freeman's Mind (and game reviews.) I also used to watch AVGN but he got stale.
Rise and shine!

The first Freeman's Mind was more fun though.
>the two most prominent continents in Super Mario Odyssey
>the USA continent and the Mexico continent

ROM, the game

PSP port of Initial D Arcade Stage 3, the last one after the series underwent major overhauls.
For the uninitiated, arcadey racing game with a relatively fast pace and stylish driftan, you need to get accustomed to the controls but otherwise a fun game.
Yes you can use the gutter technique while listening to eurobeat.
Covers the happenings of the anime up to the end of 4th Stage, save for God Foot and God Hand. So no NSX or Fairlady Z, but I think this is the last entry to have the GT-FOUR ST205.
There are however some extra cars that manage to appear in 5th Stage.

>I dunno nigga, try tha chinese button!
Game is in japanese but you don't need to know japanese at all. There are barely any menus you'll be going through and the most important HUD elements are english. Not to mention that main menu has fucken pictures to help you. Nevertheless, for the weaklings I provide an english manual that was distributed with the Asian distribution.

>Ok then, where do I start with this?
There's the Story Mode, you fight 99% of the battles the anime covered when this came out, at the end you get to fight Bunta in his Impreza and unlock Bunta Mode.
There's Time Attack, where you can make times and fight the times you already made. You can fight your spooky ghost for a pseudo battle.
Then there's the multiplayer but I dunno about that, never played it. Apparently it works perfectly, even on the emulator, but figure that shit yourself.
Finally there's Bunta mode where you basically fight Bunta on all tracks and grind for difficulty stars.

After each completed race you get to choose 1 from 3 random cards (that are conveniently exposed in the emulated version). The details are in the provided FAQ.
tl;dr the cards with the highlighted suspension are performance upgrades, the cards with body panels and such are outside improvements, and everything else is largely irrelevant.

>Nice, point of this thread though?
I'm F U C K I N G B O R E D of just playing against myself and against bots, I want some actual man-made times to compete with, beat my fucking Akina time you weakling.

So they're releasing a new character. This one seems a little more interesting due to the spell theft dynamic you can probably steal a lot of flashes during a team fight.

Unfortunately they're turning IP into Blue Essence next season and it will be impossible to buy champions you like for free without RNGing. I just knew they're gonna Jew out so I bought all of the characters I have the slightest interest in with my saved up IP before they devalue the in-game currency and make it nearly impossible to buy characters without real money.
What are ya playing on your free & open source operating system, /v/?

Hard mode: no emulators or VM's.
Okay, a game idea:

It's golf, right? Everybody and their mom can make a decent engine that's fun at its own, but it gets better: in this one you golf down a snowy peak. Then the game generates a route through a vast pre-made mountainside that you have to slide down against an opponent, and what you want to do is look for 'Collide Airs': you tackle each other mid-jump, and that triggers a WWE style air combat a few seconds at a time where you try to pin the opponent and perform a style combo, which factors in what kind of a swing you originally did and how close to a checkpoint it lands. A really bad performance nets a few swings for the player where he will have to catch up playing normal golf, but every checkpoint launches another time you get to ride down the peak at the same time and try to fight.
I figured out the way I want to buy games. There should be platform that's marketed like a little greenhouse garden and your purchases would be handled like a growing stock. Let's say Shovel Knight was available on that platform, the way it should work is that you could buy the vanilla version in 2014 and it would be titled for instance "Shovel Knight 1500" for the 15 bucks you paid for it. What would happen is that just like Shovel Knight in fact did get a lot of free DLC for first time buyers, and was notably cheap early on but heftier by now, the platform should format free updates in a way so that your $15 purchase would grow by itself into a "Shovel Knight 2300" and beyond, and at that point the vanilla version plus all finished DLC would be 23 dollars to buy on the spot. It would handle DLC as a free early adopter bonus by default. Then I would be happy to even get double dipped with a full physical edition later on with my absolute favorite games, after my scant savings helped the company early on when it counted the most.

I wouldn't make it a mandatory to give free updates, but only to stick to the format. There would be companies that would release games with little to no "growth", but even then it would just be a neat and transparent way to market the value of those games. Customers could make their judgement if growth is the end-all worth or if they're happy with a good game that's samll but full experience right out of the gate. And of course it's exploitable with "over-valuing" a game by overpricing the free DLC, but I don't think trickery like that would get anybody very far or cause any real problems since you still get to buy the games you want to buy at the price they're available, not counting on always getting free enhancements is already just common sense.
So I thought for Halloween I might try to organize a Darkstalkers/Vampire Savior tournament. Halloween proper is a Tuesday so the weekend before or after might be better. If anyone is interested let me know on here so we can solidify some more details. I'm up for whatever.

There was this one thread in which platformers were being discussed really in depth. Specifically Sonic platformers in 3d, and I think I have an idea on how to fix the combat while adding to the platforming. Why not, when you destroy more than one enemy by jumping on top of them, the camera changes to bird's eye view?

This COMPLETELY does away with the shitty auto aim mechanics we see in 3d Sonics without compromising jumping speed like in the 3d Mario, Pacman or Crash games.
So now Sakura Kinomoto is officially a character in the gatcha for no reason. But you remember the cute girl who got us into anime. Time to start playing weebshit, amirite?
Do you think 2D platformers with anime sprites are still viable? I've been thinking of making a platform with Sonic physics set in the slippery snow, except instead you play as a cute armless ice skater who has to fight by slashing enemies with her kicks. The world would be a fantasy environment that encourages you to explore like Donkey Kong Country 2, and the gameplay would punish you for misjudging your speed or timing as you burst through ice walls.

I am concerned that the current generation only cares about Unity engine and 3D games. I might not even be able to break even if I ever sold the game, and to be honest It's hard to motivate myself to make it if I'm just doing it for free.
I'm not a kid with hundreds of hours for grinding anymore. Shorter rpgs are a good thing. Big budget companies are mainstream and anti - creative, so I approve of smaller fanned and more niche.
>To All Customers of Ys VIII,
>Thank you for all the feedback and support we have received since the launch of Ys VIII. It has come to my attention that the quality of the Ys VIII localization has not reached an acceptable level by our own standards, but most importantly by yours. As president of NIS America, Inc. I want to apologize to you personally for this grave error. This situation should not have happened – especially to a game as wonderful as Ys VIII and by a company that strives to deliver the very best customer experience in each title. We have begun internally to investigate the causes of this situation as well as to implement steps to ensure that a similar situation does not occur again.
>As for Ys VIII itself, we will have a new translator and editor go over the entire localization to fix grammatical errors, typos, inconsistencies, and also to take a fresh look at the dialog and characterizations. For the script, where necessary, we will re-translate and re-edit the game including updating voicework to reflect these changes. We plan to have this work done by the end of November and will offer the updated localization free of charge for both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita versions of the game via patch. The Steam version of the game will include this localization in its initial release.
>We humbly request your patience in this process.
>Again, as the president and CEO of NIS America, Inc, I deeply apologize and vow to you that we will bring the quality of the localization of Ys VIII up to the high standards that it and you deserve.
>Please allow us this opportunity to restore your faith in NIS America, Inc.
>Sincerely, Takuro Yamashita

Have you ever had any close calls which would have set you back for ages? What about actual fuck ups which lost you a significant amount of progress?
It just brings me back to my old Xbox which randomly turns off now, I'll never forget the first time I played Otogi 1&2, Metal Arms Glitch in the System, Second Sight, Psy Ops Mindgate Conspiracy, Breakdown, MGS2 and so many other mindblowing titles filled with so many awesome ideas.
This franchise would make such a great game mmo. Collect stuff from different layers, sell it, explore...
