well the romance of this game has been well and truly shattered, I've up to now had to install the fucking thing 3 times, as I have developed 'error 210' which makes it so I cant even load up the launcher, utter cancerous shit man, I was enjoying it too, tried all of tge 'fixes' ive seen on google and the eso site, ive heard the support for this game is virtually non existent outside of DLC releases, its ran by a skeleton crew, i think I need a .json file because I appear to be missing one but I dont really know where to get one

seriously man its a great game but ive had nothing but problems with it outside of the actual gameplay, that fucking launcher is aids

 >>/1639/
nevermind i fixed the problem, i was out of date on windows 10 updates so i updated my machine and i was also missing 2005-2015 c++ libraries, and all x86 libraries, luckily i didnt have to do anything other than that

bit sad to see that the windows 11 wont run on my machine though, thinking about buying a new motherboard

 >>/1941/
I did, good game, some good memories with the ps2 and this, I distinctly remember my theories before the game came out as to what you would be able to do and where youd be able to go, the words free roam and the simpsons were back then some very polarizing words to hear

I suppose might have to dig further into this shit since the article provided didn't really go into much. I think they might do better with a Mario Party game though instead of Kart.

Baldurs gate phenomenon has shaken my hope for gamers as of late, its a fucking giant cutscene with 'filler' combat segments

the souls series is shit too, roll around memorise a boss's melee set repeat ad infinitum

saying this is there even a new type of video game possible at this point or are all bases covered?

Update:

I copped an xbox one controller from facebook marketplace, theres drift but Halo reach has a setting that lets you adjust the stick action thus negating it, the A button however keeps getting stuck when pressed, which made my playthrough of re3 nemesis annoying, the cause is the rubber membrane on the inside not popping back into position, not sure why its doing this though

So the suits on Eve in Stellar Blade change her ass physics, just like real life

The preorder DLC suit is as PAWG as the skin suit, it has max ass jiggle physics, maybe more than skin. The first level's suit (3 hours before you can change suits btw) has almost no jiggle. The playboy bunny suit increases her tit size slightly and gives them maximum bounce physics, just like real life.

The game should be called Stellar Pawg tbh

It is good. Standard hack and slash sure, but the enemies are plentiful enough it doesn't get old. It isn't -Souls hard but I've died a bunch from my own error. There are like two control issues, the worst being you hold triangle to rush but after a rush it will refuse to let you do so again, might be missing a charge but I think it's just the game getting confused because it seems to only happen when already in a fight.

Definitely worth a play. Basically you're trying to kill niggers to save humanity... except it turns out you're a robot cyborg and humanity made the demons to kill YOU

It just seems like coomerbait with no real substance, I give it 2 weeks before people are onto whatever else comes out, people (and VG companies) are too ADHD nowadays, even Elden Ring, which was touted as 'le super epic god-tier art' was pretty much forgotten about in 2 weeks, companies have also been bought out by kikes that don't care about storied titled and instead just want to churn out hollow chintzy money makers, the VG industry has been well and truly hollywood-ized.

Except for of course all the video games I play.

I see the assassins creed trailer has really crimped gamers shorts, the youtube video is being dislike bombed, I have to say however that assassins creed has been shit since black flag.

did a couple dungeons in ESO earlier for the first time despite being over 600CP, never used the dungeon finder feature, I got over 600k XP in the first one, which was very surprising, thr whole experience was fun, im going to do some more when i wake up, hopefully I get some good drops

100% agree, pc version of san andreas is shit, there's something also about the higher resolution of classic games running on pc that just looks shit, whenever i em i make sure the graphical settings are a low as they can go, it makes the game look more like it did on console, although i have a ps2 slim for that stuff, games are getting expensive though, might see if i can mod it and run games off an SD card

> had to use a controller emulator because capcom are faggots and dont release complete copies of their games to steam
> finally got it to work
> game stuttered despite my PC being able to run it comfortable

washout, hopefully i find a game worth getting that isnt unsupported buggy slop, looking at the halo 3 remake

ok i bought
halo 3 (master chief collection)
assetto corsa (driving game, a la forza)

i still have £1.56 left in my account, not sure what to buy though

 >>/3733/
refunded all of these

halo 3 ran poorly, the having to lead shots mixed with the 60 frames did not translate well at all

assetto corsa was rubbish, no handbrake and the cars handled like they were driving on ice

pubg is infuriating as fuck, i dont think ive ever been as triggered dying in a videogame, its ok but the investment to payoff seems unbalanced, i could roam around for 20 minutes collecting shit to then die in a heartbeat to a sniper from fuck knows where, also the sound design is straight shit, they need to fix it

> Fallout London is now the "fastest-redeemed" game of all time on GOG

The fan-made mod - which is being distributed for free via GOG's platform, hence why the digital games distributor can't use terms like "fastest-selling" - was redeemed more than 500,000 times in its first 24 hours.

We present GameNGen, the first game engine powered entirely by a neural model that enables real-time interaction with a complex environment over long trajectories at high quality. GameNGen can interactively simulate the classic game DOOM at over 20 frames per second on a single TPU. Next frame prediction achieves a PSNR of 29.4, comparable to lossy JPEG compression. Human raters are only slightly better than random chance at distinguishing short clips of the game from clips of the simulation. GameNGen is trained in two phases: (1) an RL-agent learns to play the game and the training sessions are recorded, and (2) a diffusion model is trained to produce the next frame, conditioned on the sequence of past frames and actions. Conditioning augmentations enable stable auto-regressive generation over long trajectories.

I remember when this dropped and j heard the rumours (I didn't have a pc so I hadn't seen one) and I asked around school as to who had one and I made it somewhat of a mission to see one in person, I was very very intrigued as to just how small it was, although nobody in my school had one as far as I knew, it was a couple years later before I finally saw one and I was marginally impressed, nowhere near however as impressed as I thought I'd be.

Stop buying into corporate fascists that want to hypnotize you into being a pathetic loser slave to their "masquerading" and digital "eyes wide shut" campaigns. The facts are they are using your money to enslave you and never deliver the content you pay for, you are buying into a liars game that will never give you what you ask of it, the CEOS are too busy spending your money on coke and hookers and not taking any responsibility for coding or designing, infact, they are firing your only supporting artists because they know you are their bitch. You might notice that their games actually suck too. It's no surprise that they are stealing your money and hopes, you are wasting your life investing in them, boycott them for your rights and freedoms back or stay their zombie drone like you were trained to be. They don't care either way. They are pieces of shit.

> Steam cuts the cord for legacy Windows and macOS

From the start of 2024, Valve officially dropped support for Windows 7, 8, and 8.1, as well as for macOS 10.13 High Sierra and 10.14 Mojave. The Register reported on the change at the end of 2023, as well as an informed guess as to why: because the underlying Chromium engine was dropping support for these elderly client OSes.
