Sexual assault cases depend on circumstantial evidence, since it's almost impossible to ever physically prove sexual assault. Most of the time, there's not much circumstantial evidence, since opportunistic abusers have no prior history of predation, and the abusers who do have a history try to be at least somewhat smart about it. Sosa on the other hand has literal gigabytes of data that will work as perfect circumstantial evidence. It doesn't matter if he wipes his phone or PC like he's always done. This isn't a matter of cops knocking at his door then leaving like in the past. The investigation can and will use his internet footprint against him, and considering how massive it is, it will be grounds for a subpoena to gain access to his electronics. Other women and girls will come forward for the investigation to corroborate his little sister's stories about him too. He is absolutely screwed. 

This isn't a matter of internet retards calling the local PD to tell them Sosa is a pedro rapist then his mom stepping in to say it's just harassment. This is an actual court case with tons of evidence spanning the last decade tying into a real life case of incestuous, pedrophilic sexual assault. He's probably coping by saying no judge will believe a bunch of insane women's lies, saying there's no real proof, saying his sister is mentally ill, but deep down he knows he's fucked. There's no out of this.

If his sister was ever in therapy, the notes will also be used as evidence against him. Plus all his prior arrests and investigations for pedroshit, even if they didn't lead to anything, will be taken into consideration by the judge and used against him. The fact that anyone could think he's not getting sentenced is pure cope.

Sosa is fucked. If you look at cases prosecuted by the same DA there are plenty of people that got 25-30 years w/o parole for sexual assault based on the testimony of one person alone -- so yes a judge will likely believe her testimony (especially since she's a minor and if it's backed by a forensic interviewer).

I legitimately can't think of a way he can get out of this: he's a McDonald's wagie so he can't claim that she had an incentive to lie, and her mom is a former judge in a different county so she likely doesn't have any clout whatsoever in McAllen. I think he should enjoy his freedom while he still has it.

Oh he's done for. If it was this some random lady he didn't know who said he did this to her at a park, you have this huge hurtle to prove that he was even there at the time, and to prove it was him. You basically need CCTV footage and/or DNA evidence. his sister though? Oh boy he's done. He's beyond done.

One thing is that past investigations won't be used at the trial itself, since he was never convicted of anything. The judge and prosectuors would know and it will influence their sentencing but they won't say it.

So what WOULD happen is that anything else becomes additional charges. So anything like CP found on his HDD or SDD would become posession of CP charges. It often takes months for the forensics to go through people's hardware, so that might be why there's no additional charges. So far Sosa just has the sex crime charges relating to his sister though.

If he gets caught with possessing or producing child porn, that would be a federal charge (like that one Pukara orbiter) and the charges would probably come after his SA trial is over. If I'm not mistaken victim testimony alone is also enough to prove production of CP.

Honestly, he should pray that he catches federal charges since he's facing 30 yrs with no parole in a Texas state penitentiary (surrounded with gangbangers, overcrowded w/ no AC) -- a fed prison (where he'll at least have his own cell, be able to make e-mails, and work jobs) has way better conditions than that.

It all depends if they deemed it worth it to do a search of his computer hardware. There's no way he doesn't have CP on there in some form, but ti's possible that the feds wouldn't have felt probable cause to do a search since the incidents do not relate to computer communication at all. They may feel that these charges are enough, rather than go fishing for something else.

The case in Texas is state charges 100% relating to his sister and nothing else. No idea if they're going to bother trying to prove everything else. It's obvious to us, but proving other charges is difficult. You need witnesses, you need to do a lot of digging.
