I don't take "get a job" seriously because I've sent about 800 applications and my resume doesn't even suck. Right now it just sucks to look for jobs, things started getting crazy in like 2023. I have degrees and experience from two fields. Obviously if I got a job after relentless looking, I wouldn't have created the thread

did you upload your resume as pdf file and then re-enter it in their shitty website 800 times? that seems like something that would take weeks to accomplish.

last time i did this i looked at hundreds of companies and then applied for 5, had 2 companies invite me, they hated me, i hated them, fuck this prison i was unfortunate to be born in. money was a mistake. now i have a part-time job where i work 1-2 days a week for like 5 hours and make so little money that all i can afford is food from the discount supermarket and rent for my 1room appartment-cell. my plan is to move to africa because i can do my job from there (for 2-3 more years) and the rent is cheaper and so is food.

No it's because most places want 5 years of experience, that's a stupid arbitrary cutoff. Someone with 4 or 3 years can't get a job. I've seen people post proof they've sent 2000 applications, I'm not gonna do that.

Anyway about the computer, I'm saving for a desktop pc. It'll take almost a year but that's my only option.
