Eggs, Fish, Turmeric, Yogurt, Ginseng, Kale, Mushrooms, nuts contain things your brain wants. Sugar is toxic. Saturated fats in animal products is toxic. Fructose causes cancer. Alcohol is toxic. Caffeine (only 1 cup or quit). Processed oils in packaged food could be inflammatory by the time you get it.
Vitamin C (250mg or less) will detox you from some metals. CoQ10, creatine, some herbs like Ginseng are probably going to work. People are lazybugs.

I do take a lot of health supplements and vitamins and maintain a keto diet (limit carbs and totally avoid sugar). The only exception to sugar is alcohol, which I require now and then as a functional alcoholic. Yes I have confronted doctors about it being honest with them, willing to stop drinking albeit I'm going to require some form of sedative for the insomnia and withdrawals and none so far are willing to prescribe me what I need to get off the bottle. This 'healthcare' system is absolutely fucking broken. They'd literally rather me drink my liver away then help me get off the bottle by prescribing what the patient needs. Our "healthcare" system ABSOLUTELY SUCKS in modern America. Way too overly-regulated, sticks up all their asses, fear of their own shadows. So far the only thing I can do is try to limit how much I drink at night time, keep a healthy diet, take my vitamins and health supplements and PRAY I don't end up with liver cirrhosis. I can't tell you how much I hate this government, the politicians, the corporations and the institutions they have hijacked.

> why do people equate drug addiction or alcoholism with insanity and mental problems? Is it really so "insane" being able to just fucking enjoy yourself intoxicated?

i don't equate it but alcohol is for idiots but i defend your right to be one.

No, alcohol is a legal far cheaper alternative to real drugs you cannot get easily or legally. It is a poor man's drug that has similar properties to sedatives. Just like smoking crack is a poor man's cocaine high.

alcohol is garbage. it traps revolutionary energy. it makes you accept injustice. it ruins your health. you drink it in your own worst interest. it makes ugly, corrupt, unlovable, hostile-minded women of disgrace appear more human. it helps evil groups take advantage of idiots. it gives assholes an excuse to overstep other people's boundaries.

You think I still live with my parents? No, I inherited the farm house. No one tells me what to do anymore, I'm a grown adult and decide what I will put into my body. I do eat healthy. Unfortunately I have an alcohol addiction. I'd be willing to give up the alcohol once I find a doctor willing to give me medicine for the insomnia and withdrawals. So far, so it seems, all doctors are distrustful fucking bitches and bastards. No one seems to trust an alcoholic even though I've been 100% honest about my addiction and wanting to stop and my need for medication to do so. The level of bigotry, discrimination and bias in this country is fucking incredible and very sad. I bet if I went to a third world country I'd actually get better care and the medicine I need lol.
it is the drug for people who are going to have a life not worth living. look at the old ones who drank it all their life. it is the drug for husbands, employees, henchmen and others who never found how to live life enjoyably.
One would fucking think, if doctors were really sincere, they would actually help people stop drinking by giving them medicine for the insomnia and withdrawals. But, ironically and hypocritically so, they say no and will not trust their own patients. So then, what is the point of going to a doctor if there is no trust anymore?

I really do believe people like you don't want others to quite. You are perfectly fine with people dying because of your bigotry and discrimination. Don't worry, you are not alone in this cruel world, many many people just like you out there who like to kick others when they are down. All too common in USSA Today.
"We really think you should quite drinking, alcohol is terrible for you, but NO we will not give you medicine to reduce the withdrawals or help you sleep without it, sorry but you're on your own, too bad for you!" Fucking assholes.

They are not supposed to be our friends, true, but what they are is physicians and physicians are supposed to TRUST their patients and prescribe medicine when needed. That is their job, the job they refuse to do these days. What in the fuck happened to our healthcare system?
This country has turned into a cruel joke. Nothing and no one to trust anymore. Glad I'm getting old, I'll be dead in the next 20 years anyway and good fucking riddance. Shithole.

I've been smoking weed daily for about a year now (been doing it for 20 years on and off, but DAILY for the last year), and I think I'm starting to get some of that shit. My thoughts are STRANGE. And I think maybe stranger than "normal" high thoughts. I have like several versions of my inner voice talking to each other at once, and usually one is taunting the others, threatening to let go of reality to cause "us" to sorta "flip the channel" and jump to another life, forever losing everything I've worked for in this one.

A big reason lots of people drink alcohol in the first place is because they cannot get proper healthcare or medicine. Compared to 40 years ago decent medicine (sleep aid, pain killers, stress relief) is so fucking restricted and over-regulated every doctor fears legal liability whenever they prescribe medicine out of assumption it will be abused (even when it's not the doctor's fault at all!) So we now have a defective broken healthcare system based on lack of trust. People no longer can get what they need so they self-medicate with booze, and thus, 45% increase in liver disease and death by liver cirrhosis.

Was the simple fear of drug abuse worth the skyrocketing deaths due to liver diseases and organ failure!?!? That's the reality society is going to have to figure out as more tax revenue dies out, less available workers, steep population and birthrate declines, etc. All because of the "fuck you I don't trust you, you are on your own" attitude we have today.
