Here is a youtube video I found after a quick search comparing the old and new ones. 
There are some places that only take cash but more and more places have cashless options and a lot of restaurants will have both a cash and cashless register. But places like ramen shops mostly still use the same old ordering machines that both only take cash and do not register the new bills yet.
There are a lot of popular cashless payment apps and stuff here though like PayPay. 
Honestly not a fan of the new bills, I think the old ones look better. One of my Japanese friends described the new ones as looking like toy money and now I can't unsee it. Mainly because of the font for the amount of money.
I think its possible under the right circumstances, and it seems pretty close to those circumstances right now. That being, most people heavily dislike the LDP but they also recognize that they are objectively better than all the other parties which are mostly unorganized leftist losers. 

It is not a question of if but when, in my mind.

I don't look at the exact number per update but after rolling Caesar partway through her banner I have more than enough for one pity saved up for Yanagi. So having two banners to save should give me more than enough for two pities, presumably. 
I was thinking about going for Yanagi's because I don't have enough anomaly engines for all my anomaly characters, but supposedly Miyabi is also anomaly so I would rather just save for hers.

Compared to Recitifiers not really, as far as 5*s go the only ones are Rover, Changli, and her.
Also seems there's going to be a new 4* sword you can max out through an event so might just give that to her.

Still not a fan of gachas, but as long as you're enjoying yourself. And not getting bled dry. 
The game feels fine to play, it's just a bit uninspired in the art direction if you ask me. I'll still play it, just because monhun is something my buddies and I always make time for.

I have a spent a little, but I don't think its an unreasonable amount for how much time I have put into the games. 
The human character designs all look pretty bad, although thats obviously not the main draw of the series. Even if the twins were what got me to pick up Rise... Do you dislike the monsters too? I've only seen a couple and while I liked some I would say uninspired was probably a fair descriptor for most of them. 
Are you going to play the X switch port?

The final monster of the demo was really cool. The others were boring, which is sorta expected for early game stuff. It's still monster hunter, no question about that. 
Weeb I sold my switch well over a year ago, so probably not.

Stormblood was fine. Leagues better than ARR. Plus it sets up shadowbringers kino. 
Ultimate fights are the hardest in the game. Think 3 savage fights in a row but harder.

Savage is really hard versions of those, it's the main endgame for whatever the current expansion is.

I thought it started out okay but by the end I just did not care at all. I remember forcing myself to finish it because I knew if I didn't before another game I wanted to play came out, I never would. Yes, I got to the part where you get the three eyed girl. I have some things I dislike about the story but overall I enjoyed what I played, but I had one busy weekend that got me out of the habit of playing it and I just haven't been able to get back to it. I do remember you saying the main thing you disliked about Persona was the school sim stuff, and Metaphor is basically just fantasy Persona without the school sim so you may like it. Although maybe I just enjoyed it cause I've been starved of a good turn based JRPG for a while now.
