Venezuela Descending Into Riots & Chaos After Questionable Election Results

The country of Venezuela is descending into violent chaos this morning, with citizens protesting a "sham" election in the streets, government buildings being "stormed" and armed troops opening fire upon unarmed citizens.

It began this past weekend, with a Presidential Election in Venezuela.  As with most countries, the news media there undertook "Exit Polling" wherein they inquired of voters who were leaving a Polling Place, how they voted. 

Once Polls in the country closed, the media began broadcasting the results of the exit polls, showing the Opposition garnering 60-65% of the vote, and incumbent President Nikolas Maduro getting 30-35%.  Suddenly, during the evening, all the media were ordered by Government to STOP broadcasting the Exit Poll data.  Shortly thereafter, President Nikolas Maduro was "declared" the winner.   It went downhill very fast after that.

Thousands of furious Venezuelans took to the streets Monday to protest what they called a stolen election, tearing down posters of President Nicolas Maduro as the banging of pots and pans echoed through Caracas.

Venezuelans weary from years of food shortages, dwindling household incomes and a leftist government criticized as authoritarian, expressed despair after the electoral council loyal to Maduro said he won a third term in Sunday's voting.

The opposition, which polls had predicted would win by a landslide, said it took more than two-thirds of the votes in the oil-rich country whose economy lies in ruins.

"We were robbed last night," an angry Melanie Fiser, 22, told AFP, rejecting the official results.

The National Electoral Council (CNE) gave Maduro 51 percent of the votes, against 44 percent for Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia, the soft-spoken proxy for wildly popular opposition leader Maria Corina Machado.  Yet, by their own numbers, the totals PROVE outright fraud because the totals add-up to 109.2% of the vote! Here. Look:

American Doctors Volunteering In Gaza Ask Why So Many Children Have Headshot Wounds

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called Israel the "most moral army in the world," but a high volume of deeply troubling wounds seen by American surgeons volunteering in Gaza is casting doubt on that claim. 

Dr. Mark Perlmutter, an American surgeon with heavy catastrophe-zone experience, is among those stunned by the civilian devastation they've recently witnessed in Gaza, and especially by a high volume of what appear to be precision rifle-fire wounds on children - including toddlers.

"All of the disasters I've seen, combined – 40 mission trips, 30 years, Ground Zero, earthquakes, all of that combined – doesn't equal the level of carnage that I saw against civilians in just my first week in Gaza," Dr. Mark Perlmutter, an orthopedic surgeon and vice president of the International College of Surgeons, told CBS's Sunday Morning. 

What most struck him was his observation that the overwhelming majority of the patients he and his team treated were children:

"I've never seen that before. I've seen more incinerated children than I've ever seen in my entire life, combined. I've seen more shredded children in just the first week … missing body parts, being crushed by buildings, the greatest majority, or bomb explosions, the next greatest majority."

"I have two children that I have photographs of that were shot so perfectly in the chest, I couldn't put my stethoscope over their heart more accurately, and directly on the side of the head, in the same child. No toddler gets shot twice by mistake by the 'world's best sniper.' And they're dead-center shots."

A Virginia anesthesiologist said he saw an estimated 30 single gunshot wounds to children in just two weeks. A doctor based in gunfire-heavy Chicago described the horrific conclusion he reached as the pattern emerged on the treatment tables in front of him: 

"I thought these kids were in the wrong place at the wrong time, like sadly, some of the kids we treat in Chicago. But after the third or fourth time, I realized it was intentional; bullets were being put in these kids on purpose."

When he addressed the US Congress on Wednesday, Netanyahu said: 

"For Israel, every civilian death is a tragedy. For Hamas, it's a strategy. They actually want Palestinian civilians to die, so that Israel will be smeared in the international media and be pressured to end the war before it’s won." 

That claim isn't consistent with what the American volunteer doctors observed. Writing at Politico, Perlmutter and Dr. Feroze Sidhwa said the stream of child-headshot patients almost invariably arrived with one of two explanations from their families: "[They said] the children were playing inside when they were shot by Israeli forces, or they were playing in the street when they were shot by Israeli forces." 

So whose claims should Congress trust more? Dozens of volunteer American humanitarian doctors, or a prime minister who's already told them some of the most impactful lies they've ever bought?

Braindead Morons Attacked Power Grid Workers Trying To Restore Power To Houston

Further clarification of the downfall of Western civilization has been brought to our attention as of recently.

A number of linemen restoring power in Houston, Texas in the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl have been sent to the hospital following the physical attacks of "desperate and frustrated" residents despite the repair crews' essential work.

The acts of violence not only hamper the restoration efforts but also demoralize the utility workers. Many of these men have traveled far from their homes from all over the nation, working long shifts in dangerous conditions to bring electricity back to nearly three million people in the Democrat-ran city.

A non-Texas residing utility worker shared a variety of horror stories from the past week on TikTok, including a story where his colleague was hospitalized after ingesting water laced with fentanyl that had been given to him by the residents.

"What the hell are you guys doing right now to the men who came down, who left their families, to come to help you?" a lineman asked in a video post on X, formerly Twitter. "Linemen are leaving right now and there are linemen that will never be back to Texas. And let me tell you, I'm one of them. You'll never see me in Houston." He added that the most dangerous part of his job is supposed to be the electricity and it is not supposed to be the public.

There were also reports that the repair crews had been beaten and forced to evacuate staging areas, and in one case, 20 linemen were held hostage by armed men. 

"We've had guys who have had guns pulled on them, we've got guys who have had rocks picked up and slung at them. I had a crew out in Sugarland, they had guys with AK-47s standing across from them. Never pointed it at them but menacing them," Ed Allen, business manager for IBEW Local 66 Federal Credit Union, told KPRC 2.

One account on X posted a video where a seemingly lunatic local was battering his truck with a metal rod in the middle of a busy highway.

There were also reports of verbal attacks. Houston police have investigated at least five cases involving threats made to workers and other employees, whether in person or online. The police have also charged at least two cases. One suspect named Anthony Leonard, 38, has been charged with aggravated assault after allegedly pointing a gun at a group of CenterPoint Energy workers who were at a staging area.

Hurricane Beryl hit Southeast Texas on July 15 as a Category 1 hurricane before weakening to a tropical storm and then a tropical depression. The storm unleashed heavy rain and winds that uprooted trees and damaged homes and businesses along the Texas Coast and parts of Southeast Texas. It left 18 deaths, which may have been due to heat exposure following the loss of power, according to the medical examiner's office in Harris County.

Harris County Precinct 2 Commissioner Adrian Garcia also called for an end to these threats. "Violence and threats against people who are working to get the lights back on is not the answer, never," Garcia said. "All that does is make it harder and longer to get your lights back on."

Good! Ukrainian Diplomat Goes To China, Talks To Negotiate Peace Deal With Russia

The Ukrainian government has been showing an increased willingness to get to the negotiating table to end the war, with the latest development being a trip by the country's top diplomat to China to explore avenues forward. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba on Wednesday met with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi, and communicated in a statement that "I am convinced that a just peace in Ukraine is in China’s strategic interests."

"China’s role as a global force for peace is important," he emphasized, while also stipulating that Kiev will only engage Moscow when Putin is "ready to negotiate in good faith." However, he added that "No such readiness is currently observed on the Russian side." This marks the first such trip of Ukraine's foreign minister to China since the war began in February 2022.

Wang in a readout said that Russia and Ukraine had each "sent signals of their willingness to negotiate to varying degrees."

From Ukraine's perspective, China alone is a powerful enough external actor which possesses enough influence with Moscow to get it to end the invasion. For Beijing, this is an opportunity to show itself a crucial counterweight to the United States on the world stage in dealing with intractable conflicts from Ukraine to Gaza.

A Chinese Foreign Ministry statement continued in follow-up to Wang's comments, saying, "Of course, the negotiations should be rational and substantive, aimed at achieving a just and lasting peace."

China has been busy presenting itself as peacemaker while, rightfully so, condemning 'hegemonic' Washington DC stooges.

"China just brokered a historic unity pledge with Palestinian leaders. Ukraine is requesting China mediate peace with Russia. China brokered peace between Iran and Saudi Arabia.

It remains that Kiev has been unwilling to budge on the idea of making territorial concessions. At the same time, Russia is unwilling to give up the four eastern territories it previously annexed, declaring them part of the Russian Federation after a referendum last year.

But this month has included a series of openings and unprecedented signaling coming from Kiev for the first time. This as both Ukraine is in a desperate situation on the battlefield and as it is bracing for a likely future Trump administration in the US.

Protesters Crash Hotel War Criminal Netanyahu Is Staying At, Causing CHAOS

China To Start Making Documentaries About America's Collapse

The Chinese are now producing documentaries on the collapse of American cities. What this showcases is the grim aftermath of decades of deindustrialization, disastrous progressive policies, and an opioid crisis - fueled by open borders.

Since the video was narrated in Chinese, X user TranslateMom translated some of the captions, which said, "Everywhere is garbage ... People don't live in places. There are wanderers everywhere."

Russia Developing New Space Based EMP Nuke: Fuck Around With Russia, Back To The Stone Age!

Russia’s development of a space-based nuclear weapons system poses a threat to “the entire modern way of life,” according to a top U.S. general. 

“It’s a completely indiscriminate weapon,” Gen. Stephen Whiting, the commander of U.S. Space Command, told the Aspen Security Forum on Wednesday. “It would affect the United States satellites, Chinese satellites, Russian satellites, European satellites, Indian satellites, Japanese satellites. And so, it’s really holding at risk the entire modern way of life. And it’s just an incredibly reckless decision.”

The anxiety over a potential Russian deployment of a nuclear weapon into space has percolated in public discussions of nuclear arms and national security since February, when the Biden administration briefed Congress on the emerging Russian weapon. And while a White House official at the time said that such a weapon could not “cause physical destruction here on Earth,” another senior officer emphasized the far-reaching ramifications of such a weapon.

“If they were to detonate a nuclear weapon in space, it is not just going to affect military targets,” Air Force Lt. Gen. Jeffrey Kruse, the director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, said during an appearance alongside Whiting. “The issue is, everything that’s in line of sight at low earth orbit is going to have immediate effects.”

Kruse noted that US intelligence officials have been tracking the project “for almost a decade,” saying Russia is “getting close” to finishing their preparations. The system is just one example of how Russia — and, perhaps even more significantly, China — are racing to expand their ability to attack U.S. assets in space.

This is something EVERY major nation should be developing, consider such powerful technology actually fortifying and ensuring national sovereignty for each country that has such defensive capability.

“China aims to displace the United States as the global leader in space … and it counts on what they perceive as a U.S. over-reliance on space, and it intends to hold that capability at risk,” he said. “Both Russia and China view the use of space early on, even ahead of conflict, as important capabilities to deter or to compel behaviors.”

“Where we see that taking place is just a tremendous increase in directed energy weapons, in electronic warfare, in anti-satellite capabilities,” Kruse said. “Their on-orbit technology demonstrators are demonstrating some capability and intent that really does have military applications.”

In Kruse’s telling, the space-based nuclear weapon is an example of Russia looking for “asymmetric” weapons to offset their relative weaknesses in conventional terms.”

Leading 'Trump Russia' Hoax Propagandist's Wife Indicted As Foreign Spy

Max Boot - a big fan of 'forever wars' who laundered Trump-Russia conspiracy theories through the Washington Post - is married to a South Korean spy who used to work for the CIA, and is a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations (now on administrative leave) - according to a new indictment revealed on Wednesday.

Boot's wife, Sue Mi Terry, 54, a native of Seoul living in Manhattan, used her position as a foreign policy expert to trade access to top US officials in exchange for luxury goods and 'high-end sushi dinners,' according to the indictment.

Terry allegedly began spying for South Korea in October 2013, five years after she left the CIA, and three years before Boot began calling Donald Trump a Russian asset.

Terry is accused of having "disclosed sensitive US government information to South Korean intelligence and used her position to influence US policy in favor of South Korea" over the course of a decade, in exchange for "money and luxury gifts," FBI Acting Assistant Director in Charge Christie M. Curtis said in a statement.

From 2001-2011, Terry served in a range of US government positions - including as a CIA analyst, as well as Director for Korea, Japan, and Oceanic Affairs for the White House National Security Council, the Post reports.

According to the indictment, a South Korean spy bought Terry a Dolce & Gabbana coat from a Chevy Chase, Maryland store in November of 2019 - which she returned days later for a $4,100 Christian Dior coat.

The spies also funneled over $37,000 to a public policy program on Korean affairs run by Terry - who never registered as a foreign agent with the DOJ, and had been warned by the FBI in 2014 that she could be a target for illegal foreign influence.

Meanwhile, she was passing intelligence to her South Korean handler according to the indictment.

For instance, Terry delivered handwritten notes about a private North Korea-related June 2022 meeting with the US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, to her South Korean intelligence handler who picked her up in a car minutes later, according to the indictment unsealed Tuesday.

Weeks after that, Terry hosted a happy hour – at her handlers’ behest – where she allowed the South Korean spy to mingle with congressional staffers while posing as a diplomat, the filing charges.

Boot also had the back of Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), who allegedly banged a Chinese spy.

Terry was released after posting a $500,000 bond during her initial appearance in Manhattan federal court on Tuesday, and faces up to five years in prison if convicted.

Russian Foreign Minister: IF NATO Starts Another World War, War Will Come To American Soil Too

Washington DC's belief that the United States will not suffer from a new global war and that the main actions will unfold on the European continent is a misconception, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has recently warned.

The stark language from Foreign Minister Lavrov was used during a UN Security Council meeting.  The clear implication is that the "main actions" of another global war would also unfold on the North American continent.  Here.  Inside the USA.

As this story is published at 1:10 PM EDT on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, Americans for the most part, remain blissfully unaware of how dangerous the world situation is right now.  They have no idea at all that the US Government has taken actions so grave, that the American heartland is now being openly discussed as a future war zone.

Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov mentioned this remark and then said (verbatim) "In Washington, they are convinced that a new global war will affect not the US, but their European allies. If this analysis forms the basis of the Biden administration's strategy, it is a very dangerous misconception, and Europeans should realize what a suicidal role has been assigned to them."

Does anyone in power in the West understand any of this and the horrific ramification?  If you think you have it bad now.... OH BOY!  Better be prepared folks, and better learn how to live life without the internet and power grid, just like many Ukrainians are forced to get by day after day.

Any resolution of the European crisis must include concrete steps to eliminate the threats to Russia that emanate from the West, the diplomat went on to say.  He recalled that Moscow's conditions for establishing lasting peace in Ukraine have already been outlined by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Putin also noted that Zelensky's term has expired and his legitimacy cannot be restored by any means.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov clarified that Putin does not rule out negotiations with Ukraine, as there are other legitimate authorities there.

For his part, Lavrov emphasized that Russia is ready to seek a balance of interests to resolve the current crisis in Ukraine, taking into account new geostrategic realities on the Eurasian continent.
