I visit China on occasion. Huge country of course, so it's hard to generalize, just like we have beautiful well-off areas in the US but also total drugged out shitholes. China doesn't have a drug problem but there are definite areas of poverty. That's what the media usually shows. But in general, China has been based for the past 25 years or so. It's actually free in ways we are not, which is both good and bad. 

However, look into what home "ownership" means in China. It is not for life.

China has grown enormously when they adopted free market policy although China is very unique, just because they allow free market capitalism does not mean they allow corporations to hijack control over their politicians, government policy or dictate their way of life. If they see corruption or a risk to national security, or a risk to the welfare of their population, they are not hesitant to shut it down and break it up with force and intolerance. This is what America should have been doing all along, allowing the free market but at the same time stomping out corruption, exploitation and subversion thereof and making sure the welfare of your population is protected. China did this. America failed to do this.

In China they'll allow you to buy a home. What they will not allow you to do is buy up whole neighborhoods all over the place, in order to price gouge people via cornering the housing market for hundreds of thousands of rental properties. In China they crack down on financial predators. They won't allow carte blanche monopolization and corruption of the market place, rightly so.

You're right that China is more capitalism now from an economic point but Libertarian/anarchist communism is still strong like freedom of speech forced lifestyles and state media etc. The west is falling in similar waters and the funny part is it's the fucking left wing white male hating commies that are doing it.

don't be worried about not having friends. you are evolutionary inclined towards having them but in this day and age, they are just a source of unfairness in your life and it is not true that you can't live without any. you can. but if you don't want to, time to get creative.

I'm not blaming younger generations though. I blame the government and Congress because they bankrupted the country with endless wars and debt insolvency, almost all the problems we have now, including economic, is the result of very stupid arrogant political policies the last 3 decades. Smartphones did nothing to help with current social problems either.

If anything I think we need a hard reset back to 1949.

Imagine how fucking cool it would be if we still had the free market of the 1980s but the digital revolution of the internet at the same time. Forget just CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray. We could have advanced digital cassettes that could store 8TB worth of music and videos for various consoles connected to TVs and new stereo sets that could random shuffle your collections. DVD discs that could hold 2TB of data each. AI players that could scan your favorite movies and TV shows and make continuous new AI generated remakes. AI video game systems that generate new versions of your favorite games and you could burn them to discs. All kinds of really cool stuff.

But no..... gotta use AI and technology to kill people in wars and spy on all of us instead! Fucking governments suck.

Would be awesome but cannot happen under such a centralized hyper-controlled over-regulated economy where the top 1% control nearly all capital and investment. Monopolized markets like we have today drastically reduce consumer choice and available options and often restrict alternative forms of innovation.

The women were often hotter too. I loved the curly bushy 80s hair style, they looked magnificent, it was authentic to that era and totally rocked. What rubs me the wrong way is all the modern movies today are either retarded woke super hero movies, non-sense childish animation or some dystopian mad max future where white men get enslaved and beat down. The generations today produce absolute fucking filth and garbage, I just can't watch that shit either. Luckily we have older movies which are far FAR superior.

The reason movies and television were so much better throughout the '50s - '90s eras is because our society was far better and enjoyed more artistic freedom and competition in the market place. Plus the fact producers could not rely on full blown CGI and flashy special effects alone as technology was far more limited. This means they relied on good acting, hiring professional stunt actors, had to keep the story lines suspenseful and interesting and it overall made movies feel more human.

Americans are so depraved now that Americans say that mandatory vaccines that kill people are just fine because the lives of others don't matter.

The government should have never been able to grow so big and create so much debt, it was a huge mistake and now 65% of Americans are poor and indebted because of outrageous failed economic, political and foreign policies.

One of the biggest mistakes of the 21st Century besides the endless wars in the Middle East was the federal student loan program that was created. The price of college tuition absolutely skyrocketed, a huge grift and bailout for universities, all at the expense of younger generations, many who are still mindlessly going into debt slavery because of it. Now of-course the government is promoting the idea of forgiving student loan debts on one condition: they join the military and die for Israel.
