PRINCESS CELESTIA OFFICIAL /END/ THREAD

Like a phoenix, she gets revived until the end of our days. The first princess to appear into this generation, the first princess who started the wild ride back in December 2017 and the one who will see our paths ending.

Call her majesty, call her princess, call her mentor of harmony, call her troll or just call her Celestia. She is raising the sun everyday, always there to shine in front of us with loyalty.

This is the first official thread dedicated to her. Post any pics, greens or content related about her (her sister is welcome as well) by following these two rules:

1.One image per post if possible so we appreciate any picture of her more than posting them all at once.
2. Always follow this line:

=PRAISE THE SUN==

And so, a new thread, a new day begins...

This has Celestia kissing a filly Twilight Sparkle goodnight at night with Mare in the Moon in her full misery and blight in the background of Celestia's clear delight and yet I post this in /sun/ with mild fright at the taboo of sharing night in the thread of light which shines bright!

This is intended as a thread for synchronized rewatches of Friendship is Magic. Plural because I am uncertain of the details and if it'll be one event or several mini-events.

Okay, I *think* I fixed it. Another problem is that there is a limit in place for bumping old threads, not a bad idea, but, the default was 1000 days ago,a lot of are still slow but activeish generals are 6+ years at this point. I think we are good now.

Welcome to the official thread for NSFW content!

All your desires for posting NSFW content. Check the catalog first before creating another thread and post all that material here.

We have been discussing a lot about the spirit of this board and while it remains for the most part SFW, I do believe that /endpone/ should set up a proper regulated thread for this material.

Now, I am providing to you the rules of this thread. A lot of people go crazy when NSFW appears into the game, so let me explain a few observations and essential norms that should make everything clear:

ESSENTIAL (must read)

1. The three basic rules of Endchan are applied, especially those who have intentions to post real life pornography. Only fictional content related.

2. This is NOT /b/. Endless shitposting and taking advantage of the NSFW nature for derailing the thread with spam/low quality posts that prevent the usual activity (breaking the 3rd rule of Endchan) will not be tolerated.

3.The OP image for the thread must be SFW.

4.This does not necessarily preclude the creation of other threads that relate to NSFW topics, but this is the only thread in which you can post unspoiled NSFW pictures and is intended to be the main hub for such discussion.

Have you ever craved the feeling of a warm fire while snuggled under a blanket? Possibly with hot cocoa? From idyllic scenes of a cozy log cabin or even something as simple as spending time on the computer with your favorite snack while surfing the web till the wee hours of the morning the feeling of /comfy/, homely experiences and simple pleasures, is one we all can enjoy.

However... have you ever wanted those things while underwater?

If so, then /Seapone/ is for you! /Seapone/ is /endpone/'s thread dedicated to Seaponies and secondarily aquatic themes and creatures of Equestria at large with a slight twist: the sea as a homely and /comfy/ place. /Seapone/ will not turn away other themes or concepts but by and large this thread aims to be a celebration of the softer and gentler side to what lies beneath the ocean depths and what better way to do so then with Seaponies? Especially Gen 4's take on them?

Sit back. Relax and take your shoes off. And dive in to the ocean depths. It's Seapony posting time!

Line doesn´t always go up. Well, in this case, tags often gradually go up. Very slowly but they get some progress by optimising old pictures from the archives, even ones that are deemed as miscellaneous content.

> Which surprises me slightly because I usually gravitate towards other ponies as seaponies over the race themselves.

I think that once you are used to seeing pictures of seaponified versions, the novelty eventually runs out. Their luster dilutes the more you are exposed to them and well...it pretty much relies on the content of the pictures themselves, no matter the species of origin behind it.

Save for exceptional features, the seapony body/structure is pretty much standardised in that regard.

Or maybe, tastes change and you just feel like leaning towards those pictures because of mere vibes/visual appeal and nothing else.

I disagree on novelty wearing off; those unique designs are still some of my favorites. Changing taste though, you might have a point. The movie /seapones/ have slowly grown on me, even if they still aren't personally a fave.

both things don´t have to be mutually exclusive at all (that´s assuming we are talking about polar opposites in an extremely hypothetical scenario). Quite the opposite in fact.

Although one detail of most seaponified designs come to mind: many of the characters do NOT actually have an official design beyond the main characters of each gen (Ocellus and the CMC included). Beyond them, the rest are up to approximations from the fans and thus: they take certain freedoms in their bodies, rightfully so.

I mean, the fascination may come from the fascination of such transformation in itself anyway. However, some standouts that are brought up to qualify them as more special come from pictures of Luna, Celestia, Chrysalis or the one you´ve posted: Tempest.

However, I imagine that Gameloft will eventually release some vectors with the expanded cast so that we get "official" versions of them, just like nightmare, changeling, kirin or bat transformations have shown so far.

which is funny because the movie only showed like 10 minutes of them at most throughout its base material.

Like, the biggest arguments in their favour, as far as I am concerned, come from Surf and/or Turf and Set Your...

In that way, maybe they are a bit like bat ponies. Barely any appearances in any official media but just enough of a base to make it fun for designing things.
< Though, that being said, it seem like a lot of bat pony OCs are more conservative; I actually like this, as they aren't as often overdesigned like other OCs; though I am not sure I can fully hate maximalist OCs because we live in a world of dreary minimalism!

Considering that this is a fandom that memes background ponies, I say 10 minuets in actually a lot to work with.

That would make sense storytime, or at least post a review, I might as well.

Technically good results, though all look uncanny valley to me, lol. I am not sure that is an AI thing here though. I agree with your verdict on Applejack with her motorbike being one that turned out especially well.

Have some Sunset Shimmers, just what I randomly had. More to that story later.

Not to derail, but this is such an amazing image and I really love it. I guess it could be as simple as 'combining my two favorite things', but the details are just fantastic. For instance, Celestia's cutie mark as the symbol on the sail instead of the wind crest from the game: excellent. And from the upturned prow on the left and the rocky cliff-face on the right, I can also tell that this is right outside the Forsaken Fortress - when you sail there with the King of Red Lions in the game, iirc you arrive during the night, so this has to be sailing out of the Forsaken Fortress after that (you'd have to go back and then sail out because Valoo and the Rito save you and fly you out from Ganondorf's tower (a repurposed aft-end of a ship which I always liked to think was the back half of the ship that the prow sticking up out of the water that I mentioned earlier belonged to), but it could be structured differently in this 'version' of the story, or be around the endgame when you can teleport back to the surface from within Ganon's tower down beneath the waves in Hyrule, and it takes you to the Forsaken Fortress - either way it's a comfily pivotal moment in the game that's being alluded to!) which all comes together to imbue the image with a lot of quite specific nostalgia. It almost makes me wish for a more nautically-themed G6!

I'm not sure it is even possible to derail here:
> is for casual banter and idle chitchat of any topic. Funposting and randomness too.

> Celestia's cutie mark as the symbol on the sail instead of the wind crest from the game: excellent.
I respect little details like this as well. It is fun to convert elements (say a cutie mark) into another motiff or make them fit smoothly in something like that.

I am going to say something funny: I have never played The Wind Waker. I have some memory seeing it as a kid on a Gamecube or something during a family visit but I have never played it and it's art style was and still is slightly offputting...

...but I also think these more wonky and cartoonish proportions have grown on me quite a lot!!! Pics related all from the artist dalapony and I like most of them, some of them I adore. I guess I have gone through in miniature what the repuation of that game went through as whole. (a albeit, I never hated Toon Link, I just had a slight "that looks weird" disinterest). Here:
https://twibooru.org/search?q=artist%3Adalapony%2C+the+legend+of+zelda%3A+the+wind+waker
Considering my talk of what I find offputting in ponies in the other thread, lol, me finding some of these wonky ones fun is quite comical. I might make a mini essay or something on it later.

> It is fun to convert elements (say a cutie mark) into another motiff or make them fit smoothly in something like that.
It translates very well also, as in this specific instance, the King of Red Lions (I'll try and spoiler this) was formerly King Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule, the last King of Hyrule before it sank beneath the waves, and as King he used the Wind Waker to control the winds, so if he was a pony it would be most appropriate for his cutie mark to be wind-related - and the sail in the game has a wind crest on it. Of course, the sail is bought from an Eskimo, so it's only related by chance, but nonetheless it fits.
> I have some memory seeing it as a kid on a Gamecube or something during a family visit but I have never played it and it's art style was and still is slightly offputting...
Unfortunately with Windwaker, more than anything else in the world really, I'm totally unable to look at it with an objective eye: it was my first real gaming experience. Technically I played the PC demo for Lego Star Wars first, but then Dad bought a Gamecube from a friend along with some games. Our copy of Windwaker came with the Master Quest disk, so I guess Dad's friend must have pre-ordered Windwaker. So I did play Ocarina of Time too, but it didn't ever grab me like Windwaker did, I preferred to just watch my Dad play OoT. My favorite feature of the Master Quest disk was the trailers - the Windwaker trailer on it was and still is one of my favorite things ever:
https://youtube.com/watch?v=Blk0fk4Clvc
In my mind this trailer was what introduced me to the game and made me really get into it - but there's no actual way for me to know if that's the case or not! All the memories are very blurry because I would have been four years old. Windwaker was my introduction to videogames, to fantasy as a genre, to a passion about history and sailing, and much more besides. I discussed back in the Season 9 discussion thread, years ago when the show ended, how I related to Twilight moving away from Ponyville and feeling upset about it because when I was nine years old, we moved, and I've still never really gotten over it. Our new house never, and still doesn't, feel like home, and neither does the apartment I've moved out into. I've been back to the village where I grew up, and of course, it's changed, it's no longer home either. Ironically enough, Windwaker itself is about this very theme. Ganondorf seeks to use the Triforce to unflood Hyrule, to bring it back. In the ending monologue, the King of Red Lions compares himself to Ganondorf, in terms of how neither of them could let go of Hyrule - but he chooses to destroy Hyrule and send Link and Tetra away to found their own land, a new land. So, home is not there if I go back. Nowhere on Earth feels like home. But when I play Windwaker, it feels like home. So, that's the game for me: it's the one and only home that I can actually go back to.
> I guess I have gone through in miniature what the repuation of that game went through as whole.
A few years later Dad got Twilight Princess, and that was his favorite Zelda. It might be my predisposition, but it could just as easily be the fact that Windwaker had a profound impact on who I am in general, but I find Twilight Princess depressing and dull, generally speaking. I don't think it's bad, but Hyrule in that game is not a place I'm all that interested in exploring, I don't like the people that inhabit it and I'm not motivated to save them. The Ooca city in that game is really the one part I like, and unlike the Hylians I actually like the Ooca so I want to help them. And fighting a dragon is always cool, of course. That's not to say it's a bad game, but that kind of 'look how grim and how dark I am' approach has remained a strong dislike of mine my whole life, and I first recall really feeling it towards Twilight Princess.
> With lots of Seaponies!
Absolutely!

Setting up this thread just in case someone mentions us or someone stumbles here via googling.

> what happened to 4chan?

It was attacked, ostensibly by the imageboard soyjak.party, otherwise know as the sharty. A board that was born out of /qa/ (the hacker could've just used the site as a dumping ground/cover to receive any flak though). The attack looks pretty extensive, with mods and janitor emails, the secret janitor board and the entire site source code being leaked.

> what is this place?

Endchan's resident pony community. We are a small board with own culture of sorts and way of things. If you are coming from /mlp/, we might be too sincere, heterodox, and occasionally bloggpostery for your liking. Though if you decide to stick around, read: >>/5559/

> is this a continuation of 8chan's /pone/?

No, but we are blood relatives and do have some contentions to them. Not quite brothers, more like cousins.

> Is there anything else?

Dolores is best bridge.

The most active bunker seems to be /nhnb/ (https://nhnb.org/fim/) Though I will point out to any 8chan/pone stragglers, that 8kun/pone/ (8kun.top/pone/) is still being guarded by an active board owner in the event y'all decide to return for a /pone/ revival attempt.
