Very easy to do, here's what you do on Firefox for example:
1. Open Preferences
2. Find tab "Advanced" or netwrok settings or somewhere where it says: "Configure how Firefox connects to the Internet"
3. Open these network settings
4. Enable "Manual Proxy Configuration"
5. Input for example: "178.62.246.248" at "HTTP Proxy"
6. Input at "Port": 8080
Enable "Use this proxy server for all protocols"

Lists of active proxy servers can be found searching the web, or you use for example:
http://proxy-list.org/english/index.php
where locations of proxy servers/countries are listed as well.
Format is usually "address:port", for above example the proxy server would be listed as 178.62.246.248:8080

Try it. It's easy as pie since it's just a simple browser config thing.

Can happen, as many (occasionally also bad) people might use the same proxy coincidentally.
A proxy is just like a relay station: Your computer sends all browser requests to the relay station (proxy), then the proxy opens the webpage for you, and sends the data back to your computer so you see it.
The webpage you open only sees the proxy's IP.

If I post here on endchan for example, I'm asked to get a 24hr captcha-prtected permission to post as most of these proxy are listed openly and known to website operators.
Some websites (like 4chan for example) don't like people using proxies and have banned these addresses (or ranges) permanently.

I'm starting to think that it's not intended for most people to be awakened.

my tone was stronger than intended in the post i just sent to you. sorry, but you gotta get organized, it's not ok to ask bakers to look for pastes  at the end of bred when we are already so busy getting notes ready, responding to anon feedback on notes, and baking. I resigned as baker bc it was so much to do with so little support. I love to bake and will do it when i can--and also to support other baker, who does so much. But you need to be more aware of how to offer support.
