Greece, Israel, Cyprus to sign EastMed gas pipeline deal

ATHENS (Reuters) - Greece, Cyprus and Israel on Thursday are expected to sign a deal to build a 1,900 km (1,180 mile) subsea pipeline to carry natural gas from the eastern Mediterranean’s rapidly developing gas industry to Europe. Although Turkey opposes the project, the countries aim to reach a final investment decision by 2022 and have the pipeline completed by 2025.

European governments and Israel last year agreed to proceed with the so-called EastMed project, a $6 to 7 billion pipeline project that is expected initially to carry 10 billion cubic metres of gas per year from Israeli and Cypriot waters to the Greek island of Crete, on to the Greek mainland and into Europe’s gas network via Italy.

The energy ministers of Greece, Israel and Cyprus - Kostis Hatzidakis, Yuval Steinitz and Yiorgos Lakkotrypis - are expected to sign the final agreement on the pipeline at a ceremony in Athens on Thursday.

Greece has said the agreement will be concluded once Italy signs off too. After meeting Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in Athens, Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades said the deal sets the foundation for closer energy cooperation in the Middle East.

A number of large gas fields have been discovered in the eastern Mediterranean Levant Basin since 2009. However, the region lacks significant oil and gas infrastructure and political relations between the countries - including Cyprus, Greece, Egypt, Israel, Lebanon and Syria - are strained on a number of fronts.

Last month a Turkish official said there was no need to build the EastMed pipeline because the trans-Anatolian pipeline already existed. “Why should we bury 8 billion euros in the Mediterranean, through Turkey’s continental shelf and exclusive economic zone? If we do not allow that what will happen? So this is an issue and we need an original solution to oil and gas around Cyprus,” the official said.

The signing for the EastMed pipeline comes weeks after Turkey and Libya struck an accord on sea boundaries in the Mediterranean, a move which Greece, Cyprus and Israel opposed.

Papadopoulos was an unpaid intern at the Hudson Institute from 2011 to 2015

2017 showed that Papadopoulos also co-authored an expert opinion that was delivered to the Israeli Energy Ministry on June 20, 2015, on a proposed plan to develop the offshore gas fields, named Leviathan, found in Israel's territorial waters on behalf of the Hudson Institute.

Money was donated to Hudson Institute by the CEO of Noble Energy. Houston TX, based Noble Energy is heavily invested in Israeli gas together with the Israeli energy group Delek.

In September 2015, Papadopoulos left the Hudson Institute and joined Energy Stream, a London energy consultancy, as an oil and gas consultant for four months before joining Ben Carson's presidential campaign

Papadopoulos contended that Israel should exploit its natural gas resources in partnership with Cyprus and Greece rather than Turkey.

Increased Plane Traffic At U.S. Italian And Spanish Bases Points To The U.S. Getting Ready For Military Confrontation

Dozens of American cargo planes have reached the U.S. bases in Rota and Morón, Spain and the one in Aviano, Italy. It is the largest military deployment at these bases since the 2003 Iraq War.

The almost 30,000 inhabitants of the small town of Rota, in southern Spain, have been surprised by the intense increase in American military air traffic over the last few days. The United States operates a naval base, which services several different types of American naval vessels, out of Rota, and it maintains an airbase one hundred kilometers away in Morón de la Frontera which caters to to the C-5 Galaxy and C-17 Globemaster III cargo aircraft. The US destroyers deployed from Rota are part of the NATO missile shield used to defend itself in the event of an attack by Iran, something that seems closer than ever after the latest events in the region. Aviano’s military base in Italy has also registered a dramatic increase in air traffic.

The increase in traffic in Rota and Morón were detected at the same time that the Pentagon confirmed the death of Qasem Soleimani, head of the elite Quds Force of Iran, in a concerted U.S. strike. Almost immediately, Iran vowed revenge. The U.S. Department of Defense accused Soleimani of “developing plans to attack U.S. diplomats and service members throughout the region.”

Spanish sources at the bases of Rota and Morón have reported the arrival of military cargo planes and refueling planes at the base. Specifically, the sources reported the arrival on Friday, January 3 of at least three C-5M and one C-17A transport aircraft in addition to a KC-10A tanker aircraft.

In military terms, the deployment of U.S. resources that is taking place in Spain is extraordinary and would seem to signal the beginning of intensified military operations in the Middle East. The Lockheed C-5 Galaxy is one of the largest aircraft ever built, and it can carry up to 135 tons of cargo from Dover base in Delaware to Incirlik in Turkey without refueling. In addition, the C-5M can carry up to 36 standard pallets and 81 soldiers at the same time, two M1 Abrams battle tanks, up to six AH-64 Apache attack helicopters or up to 15 HMMWV military vehicles. U.S. Teen Killed in Cartel Attack Along Mexican Border Region Highway

A United States citizen teenager from Oklahoma died and several of his relatives sustained gunshot injuries after a squad of Mexican cartel gunmen ambushed them in Mexico near the border with Texas. The family was traveling back to the U.S. when the cartel hitmen attacked them on a highway.

The shooting took place on Saturday evening in Nueva Ciudad Guerrero, just south of Falcon Dam, when members of the Castillo family were traveling on two Chevrolet SUVs when a group of gunmen attacked them, information provided to Breitbart Texas by Tamaulipas law enforcement sources revealed.

According to initial law enforcement reports, the victims live in Oklahoma and traveled to Monterrey to visit relatives for the holidays. On their way back to Oklahoma, they were planning to travel toward Ciudad Mier in order to cross back into Texas through the Roma International Port of Entry. The attack took place near the 113-kilometer marker when a group of gunmen in SUVs tried to stop the family. The gunmen opened fire, striking the family several times. The gunfire caused the driver to crash and come to a stop. After the attack, the gunmen left the scene.

When authorities first responded to the scene of the attack, they had been alerted to a traffic accident. When they arrived, they discovered it was an attack and not an accident, law enforcement information provided to Breitbart Texas revealed.

In the attack, 13-year-old Oscar Castillo Lopez, a U.S. citizen from Oklahoma, died from the numerous gunshot injuries he sustained. Three of his relatives, including a 10-year-old girl, also sustained gunshot wounds. Once authorities were notified of the attack, they responded to the scene and rushed the victims to the University Hospital in Cerralvo, Nuevo Leon, where they are listed in serious condition.

The attack comes at a time when members of the Cartel Del Noreste faction of Los Zetas have been carrying out a series of attacks in an attempt to take control of the region away from the Gulf Cartel. The Gulf Cartel currently controls that region of the border. As Breitbart Texas has reported, these attacks escalated into large scale gun battles where both cartels have used armored vehicles with mounted machine guns, grenade launchers, and other explosives.

In November, a similar case took place just south of the New Mexico border when a group of cartel gunmen attacked a U.S. family that was traveling north killing nine women and children, Breitbart Texas reported. That attack reignited the push to designate certain drug cartels as Foreign Terrorist Organizations.

A video recorded and tweeted by a passenger claiming to be on board of the airplane heading from the city of Montreal to Saguenay, Quebec, in Canada reveals the alarming event.

A tweeted video revealed a wheel from a plane belonging to Air Canada Express detaching and falling off during takeoff from the Montréal–Trudeau International Airport. Flames were seen coming out a wheel on the left side of the plane during the departure, before it fell off and away from the landing gear superstructure.

    The incident was recorded by a passenger aboard the flight. The passenger tweeted the footage with the caption: “Well, now I'm on an airplane that just lost a wheel… 2020 starts pretty well.”

The plane reportedly quickly turned back and landed safely in Montreal with no injuries reported.

Mythology That MH-17 Downing Was Done by Donbass Volunteers Has Fallen Apart

Malaysian Airlines Flight 17 (MH-17), that was shot down on July 17, 2014 in the Donbass region of Eastern Ukraine, killed all passengers onboard and was immediately blamed on pro-Russia Donbass volunteer militias fighting against henchmen of the Maidan civil unrest, the Neo-Nazi Azov Battalion and the Ukrainian military. The blame was assigned against the Donbass militias with no investigation occurring and many questions remaining unanswered. These questions were answered by Former Lieutenant Colonel Vasily Prozorov of the Ukrainian Security Services, who fled to Russia, in a damning new documentary titled “MH-17: In Search Of Truth.”

The whistleblower in the 39-minute documentary completely delegitimizes the findings found by the Dutch investigators and world leaders by drawing on classified documents he attained through his own high-ranking position and those close to him, as well as eye witness accounts including from the Donbass volunteers. The responsibility for investigating the tragedy was given to a Dutch-led joint investigation team with the Dutch Safety Board, who claimed that MH-17 was downed by the Donbass volunteers with a Buk surface-to-missile. Prozorov challenges this assertion and questioned why Malaysia, which owned MH-17, was pushed to the periphery of the investigation and priority was given to the Dutch side. This in itself is not damning and does not disprove that the Donbass volunteers were not responsible, but it does demonstrate that there is a clear agenda when a country with direct interest in this tragedy is cast aside.

Interestingly, the Dutch investigators completely disregarded declassified Russian Ministry of Defense information that the missile used to down MH-17 was sent to the Lviv region in Western Ukraine near the Polish border during the Soviet era, the opposite end of the country to Donbass. Prozorov was able to even reveal the serial number of the missile (8-8-6-8-7-2-0). This revelation is complemented by the fact that the Ukrainian military 156 Anti-Aircraft Regiment were operating in Donbass and had BUK vehicles in service in the region, as corroborated by two interviewees who served in the regiment, bringing into question why Dutch investigators ignored such critical information. This comes as it has now been proven, as explained in the documentary, that the alleged Russian Buk movement in Ukraine was faked, with a single still photo being used with a picture of a tractor, a trailer and a Buk vehicle being inserted into the picture.

Meme operation idea:

I'm sure many anons have noticed the accounts with "(Text TRUMP to 88022)".

Most of them are blue checked, but there are many that aren't and they get retweeted by big accounts sometimes like Q+, Parscale, etc. 

We could make a lot of those accounts that mostly post news and comment on things, but with subtle hints to Q.

For example:

-hashtags in the bio (one or two)

-Q related profile/banner pic 

-in between retweets and tweets unrelated to Q, tweet and retweet Q related content

-etc

Not only would it help get the message out for Q+, but it could spread Q at the same time. 

And maybe even get a retweet or tweet from the boss. Been thinking about making one and doing this, the more anons that do it the more effective it'd be.

Flub or Felony: 17 FISA Errors Submitted Four Times?

The idea that this many errors approved by that many officials was accidental is preposterous.

The inspector general’s findings seem to confirm what many have suspected all along: The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) request made during the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation doesn’t pass the sniff test. In total, there were 17 errors submitted four times. The level of incompetence required to make these errors in four separate court submissions is nigh inconceivable, leaving two questions that must be answered: Was this flub – or felony? And if the latter, how far does the corruption extend?

Frank Watt, a 1983 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and a 22-year veteran of the FBI, believes that these errors would have been career-ending felonies in any other situation. He explained in an article for American Thinker:

    “The report of the I.G.’s findings on the use of FISA in the FBI Crossfire Hurricane investigation is an outrage. As a 22 year FBI Agent, I have personally conducted multiple investigations using both Title III ‘wiretaps’ and FISA authorized intercepts. From this perspective, I can only see two possible interpretations of the actions of the FBI and DOJ. Either scenario should anger and frighten every fair minded citizen who takes the time to read the report and understand its implications.”

As Watt further explained, these “errors” made it past a great many eyes. The case had to be approved by both the FBI director, James Comey, and the attorney general. In addition, the IG’s report identified several others who reviewed and approved the FISA affidavit to surveil Carter Page, a foreign policy adviser to the Trump campaign: “National Security Division’s (NSD) Acting Assistant Attorney General, NSD’s Deputy Assistant Attorney General with oversight over 01, 01’s Operations Section Chief and Deputy Section Chief, the DAG, Principal Associate Deputy Attorney General, and the Associate Deputy Attorney General responsible for ODAG’s national security portfolio.”

Marc Demane-Debih, a Swiss trader who was arrested last year in Serbia and extradited to the U.S., pleaded guilty and is cooperating with prosecutors.

Cohen has now been fired, Goldman Sachs spokeswoman Nicole Sharp said Tuesday.

Breaking: Virginia vows to shut down all gun ranges not owned by the state

Virginia just went full blown communist.

They want to shut down every gun range in the state that isn’t owned by the government.

Pentagon Confirms Iran Launching Dozens of Missiles at U.S. Targets in Iraq

Iran is taking credit for a rocket attack targeting the al-Assad airbase in Iraq, which houses U.S. troops. We are working on initial battle damage assessments.In recent days and in response to Iranian threats and actions, the Department of Defense has taken all appropriate measures to safeguard our personnel and partners. These bases have been on high alert due to indications that the Iranian regime planned to attack our forces and interests in the region.
