Biden Regime Unconstitutionally Signs Executuve Order For Universal Background Checks To Buy Firearms

Remember the Cornyn-Murphy Compromise that Gun Owners of America and our members warned Congress about? We were loud and clear about how this legislation did nothing to end mass public murders and only infringed on gun owners' rights.

We attempted to warn elected officials. Nevertheless, Congress rushed to sign gun rights away, including 15 Republican Senators who enabled the passage of the "Bipartisan Safer Communities Act."

Well, Biden just announced that he'll be using his "regulatory authority" to implement Universal Background Checks thanks to that bill.

When we told corrupt despots in Congress how this bill was poison and would just add fuel to the fire for Biden to go beyond what was written, compromise-hungry swamp monsters didn't believe us.

Well, we hate to say, "I told you so," but that's exactly what happened. The Biden regime, by their own admission, is going around Congress to infringe on your rights.

According to the White House, Biden is directing the Attorney General to move the U.S. as close to universal background checks as possible without additional legislation by supposedly clarifying the statutory definition of who is "engaged in the business" of dealing in firearms, as updated by the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act.

It seems that Biden would rather harass law-abiding gun owners who sell as few as just one firearm per year than lock up the criminals who are responsible for gun violence.

While Biden has just announced his executive order, we currently have no specifics on what that will entail. Obama's executive order gives us a look into the future of what this rulemaking could potentially look like.

Universal Background Checks don't stop crime or criminals, instead they limit the ability of law-abiding citizens from being able to innocently transfer firearms to each other.

The goal of President Biden's new backdoor universal background check scheme is to turn as many private citizens as possible who sell their guns into FFLs, restricting their ability to conduct private gun transfers without being recorded in the ATF's illegal national federal registry.

At 1:00 a.m. on Monday, March 6, President Roosevelt issued Proclamation 2039 ordering the suspension of all banking transactions, effective immediately. He had taken the oath of office only thirty-six hours earlier.

The terms of the presidential proclamation specified that “no such banking institution or branch shall pay out, export, earmark, or permit the withdrawal or transfer in any manner or by any device whatsoever, of any gold or silver coin or bullion or currency or take any other action which might facilitate the hoarding thereof; nor shall any such banking institution or branch pay out deposits, make loans or discounts, deal in foreign exchange, transfer credits from the United States to any place abroad, or transact any other banking business whatsoever.”

For an entire week, Americans would have no access to banks or banking services. They could not withdraw or transfer their money, nor could they make deposits.

The crisis had been a long time coming. In the three years leading up to it thousands of banks had failed. But a new round of problems that began in early 1933 placed a severe strain on New York banks, many of which held balances for banks in other parts of the country.

THE TAKEOVER OF UKRAINE’S AGRICULTURAL LAND

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The war in Ukraine has been at the center stage of foreign policy and media reports since February 2022. Little attention, however, has been given to a major issue, which is at the core of the conflict – who controls the agricultural land in the country known as the “breadbasket of Europe?” 

This report addresses this gap – identifying the interests controlling Ukraine’s agricultural land and presenting an analysis of the dynamics at play around land tenure in the country. This includes the highly controversial land reform that took place in 2021 as part of the structural adjustment program initiated under the auspices of Western financial institutions, after the installation of a pro-European Union (EU) government following the Maidan Revolution in 2014.

With 33 million hectares of arable land, Ukraine has large swaths of the most fertile farmland in the world.1 Misguided privatization and corrupt governance since the early 1990s have concentrated land in the hands of a new oligarchic class. Around 4.3 million hectares are under large-scale agri- culture, with the bulk, three million hectares, in the hands of just a dozen large agribusiness firms.2 In addition, according to the government, about five million hectares – the size of two Crimea – have been “stolen” by private interests from the state of Ukraine.3 The total amount of land controlled by oligarchs, corrupt individuals, and large agribusinesses is thus over nine million hectares, exceeding 28 percent of the country’s arable land. The rest is used by over eight million Ukrainian farmers.4 

The largest landholders are a mix of oligarchs and a variety of foreign interests – mostly European and North American, including a US-based private equity fund and the sovereign fund of Saudi Arabia. All but one of the ten largest landholding firms are registered overseas, mainly in tax havens such as Cyprus or Luxembourg. Even when run and still largely controlled by an oligarch founder, a number of firms have gone public with Western banks and investment funds now controlling a significant amount of their shares.

The report identifies many prominent investors, including Vanguard Group, Kopernik Global Investors, BNP Asset Management Holding, Goldman Sachs-owned NN Investment Partners Holdings, and Norges Bank Investment Management, which manages Norway’s sovereign wealth fund. A number of large US pension funds, foundations, and university endowments are also invested in Ukrainian land through NCH Capital – a US-based private equity fund, which is the fifth largest landholder in the country.

$17 Billion Wipeout of Credit Suisse Ponzi Scheme Leaves Bond Holders Broke

One section of Credit Suisse's bondholders is set to be wiped out following the struggling bank's takeover by UBS, causing them to see investments worth 16 billion Swiss francs ($17 billion) become worthless.

The Swiss regulator FINMA announced Sunday that the so-called additional tier-one bonds, one of many relatively risky 'investments', will be written to zero as part of the deal.

The move has angered Credit Suisse AT1 bondholders as their investments have seemingly been lost, while shareholders will receive payouts as part of the takeover. Usually, equity investments would be classed as secondary to AT1 bonds.

AT1 bonds, also known as contingent convertibles or "CoCos," are a type of debt that is considered part of a bank's regulatory capital. Holders can convert them into equity or write them down in certain situations – for example when a bank's capital ratio falls below a previously agreed threshold.

AT1s were created in the aftermath of the financial crisis as a way of shifting debt from one insolvent party to another party in crisis situations. Due to their elevated risk factor, they often have higher yields than other bonds.

After years of losses and difficulties, Credit Suisse's struggles came to a head last week after its biggest investor, Saudi National Bank, said it could not offer any more support to the Swiss bank financially due to regulatory restrictions. This came just days after the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank in the US sent shock waves through the banking sector.

Credit Suisse’s stock has fallen to an all-time low amid all the melee as investors see the writing on the wall. The powers that be will continue to spew empty rhetoric about how everything is just fine, but investors and depositors are wisening up to the scam.

Swiss authorities, meanwhile, are reassuring the public that Credit Suisse still meets “the capital and liquidity requirements imposed on systemically important banks.”

To clarify, SVB, Signature Bank, and the others that have already collapsed here in the states are not systemically important banks in the same way as Credit Suisse, at least not all on their own. The problem is that all these banks share the same exposure, in many cases, so when one of them falls, they all eventually do just like dominoes.

Regardless, the bail-outs and bai-ins continue, further sinking the Western world into more insolvency, more financial risk, loss of trust and increasing price inflation ahead. Be careful where you "invest" goyim.

Palantir Technologies is the privatized version of a program DARPA was trying to run after 9/11 named Total Information Awareness (which was part of an older version that goes back to the Iran Contra Era and Continuity of Government Protocols) intended to create a "massive data base of domestic dissidents in the United States who could be rounded up on some sort of vaguely defined National Emergency that would threaten Continuity of Government." The federal government needed software to turn the acquired "massive data troves into actionable intelligence and developed Palantir". For three years Palantir's only client was the CIA. Currently all 18 US agencies use Palantir. 
Palantir was developed by InQtel (formerly Peleus) which is a CIA venture capital firm. Palantir is the successor to the Promis (Prosecutors Management Info System) a software developed in the 1980's. It was developed by INSLAW (Institute for Law and Social Research) for prosecutors to use in law enforcement record keeping and case-monitoring activities. The 1980's Promis Scandle involved INSLAW's allegation that the Justice Department pirated the Promis software to create a monitoring software for intelligence and drove the company into bankruptcy.
Peter Thiel is a co-founder of Palantir Technologies. "He is a CIA front-man who funds right-leaning platforms to access data." Thiel invested in Facebook to resurrect Total Information Awareness. Darpa at the same time created Lifelog. Both platforms intended people to willingly hand-over data.
Thiel is also partner with the venture capital firm Founders Fund. The firm was an early investors in Paypal, Google, Palantir and SpaceX. Webb points out it is reasonable to discuss Elon Musks relationship with Peter Thiel in considering Musks Twitter acquisition.
Webb explains that the decades of looting and financial crimes by the financial elite is no longer tenable and unable to keep "current banking system alive with out major reckoning". The financial elite planned a "controlled demolition." CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currency) is a slavery system - hence the need for Big Data, "masquerading" as a financial system. If people find out they were bluffed they are "going to be mad and rise up" - "CBDC is part of controlling any blow back." Good! Federal Judge Blocks California's Unconstitutional Anti-American Handgun Restrictions

California can’t ban residents from buying modern handguns.

That’s the ruling handed down by Federal District Judge Cormac J. Carney, a George W. Bush appointee, on Monday. He found California’s requirement that all new pistols sold in the state include a series of uncommon or even theoretical safety devices is unconstitutional. He ruled the regulation, which has resulted in no new handgun models being sold to civilians in nearly a decade, violates the Second Amendment.

“Californians have the constitutional right to acquire and use state-of-the-art handguns to protect themselves,” Judge Carney wrote in his preliminary injunction for Boland v. Bonta. “They should not be forced to settle for decade-old models of handguns to ensure that they remain safe inside or outside the home.”

The decision is the latest blow to California’s strict gun-control laws in the wake of the Supreme Court’s 2022 opinion in New York State Rifle and Pistol Association v. Bruen, which set a new standard for reviewing gun laws. Late last year, a federal judge also blocked the state’s attempt to discourage legal challenges to its restrictions. Many of the state’s other high-profile gun restrictions are similarly embroiled in ongoing litigation, and Monday’s ruling may signal they may face a tough climb to clear the bar set by the Supreme Court.

The also ruling paves the way for law-abiding Californians to access new pistol models for the first time in a long time.

California passed the Unsafe Handgun Act (UHA) in 2001. It initially barred the sale of any new pistol models that didn’t include a loaded chamber indicator or magazine disconnect safety. However, in 2013 the state expanded the requirements to include so-called microstamping technology. In theory, microstamping would enable a gun to leave identifiable marks on every spent casing with the goal of helping police solve crimes. However, there has never been a production gun in the world that has implemented the theoretical technology.

The practical effect of adding the requirement, which a handful of other states are now considering implementing as well, was a complete ban on the sale of all handgun models created after 2013. Outside of police officers, who are not subject to the handgun roster restrictions despite California deeming guns outside of it “unsafe,” Californians have been mostly limited to buying pistols first introduced to the market more than 15 years ago.

“These regulations are having a devastating impact on Californians’ ability to acquire and use new, state-of-the-art handguns,” Judge Cormac wrote. “Since 2007, when the [loaded chamber indicator] and [magazine disconnect safety] requirements were introduced, very few new handguns have been introduced for sale in California with those features. Since 2013, when the microstamping requirement was introduced, not a single new semiautomatic handgun has been approved for sale in California.”

Plaintiffs argued the handgun restrictions infringe on their Second Amendment rights and are unlike any regulation from the founding era, which is the key measure for constitutionality under Bruen. California argued the restrictions don’t directly implicate the Second Amendment because they don’t completely ban the ownership of all handguns, despite most were banned under this very unconstitutional regulation.

In a court filing last month, Department of Injustice lawyers offered to "relieve" Moderna of any liability it faces from a lawsuit that accuses the drug company of failing to pay licensing fees for technology it used to develop its vaccine during "Operation Warp Speed." Moderna has argued that the federal government should be on the hook for any legal settlement because of a stipulation in its contract that protects the company from patent litigation. The government had stayed silent on the matter until last month, when Injustice Department lawyers said that any liability that Moderna faces should "transfer" to the United States government, citing a World War I-era law that protects federal contractors from patent disputes.

While the judge handling the case recently denied the request, Moderna and the federal government could appeal the decision and put taxpayers on the hook for any legal payout. Genevant, one of the companies that sued Moderna, has already accused the drug maker of "trying to shift responsibility for its patent infringement to the U.S. taxpayer."

The government’s offer to bail out Moderna will likely not sit well with the American public or with senators when they grill Moderna’s CEO at a hearing on Wednesday. The Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions committee invited Stéphane Bancel to testify about the company’s plans to quadruple the price of its deadly coronavirus "vaccine".

Systemic Insolvency: Sweden's Biggest Pension Fund Loses Billions On Busted US Banks

Yesterday's (50%) collapse in First Republic Bank shares was - in a word - 'surprising' given all the positive 'rescue' chatter and upbeat overall market sentiment post-CS 'rescue'. US Regional banks broadly speaking were having a good day, but FRC was clubbed like a baby seal despite headlines proclaiming no lessor mortal than Jamie Dimon himself was on the case to rescue the community bank.

Well, we may now know why the selling pressure was so strong as Bloomberg reports that Alecta, Swedens largest pension fund, has lost billions in the recent bank busts and started to abandon its large position in FRC last week.

“The uncertainty about First Republic’s future was too great, partly due to the fact that the lender was downgraded to junk status,” Billing said in emailed comments, after Bloomberg News obtained a copy of a written response by Alecta to the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority.

Alecta said its total invested capital in First Republic stood at 9.7 billion kronor “before a sale on March 15.”

The Swedish fund had been buying First Republic shares since 2019, making it the bank’s fifth biggest shareholder.

The fund is reportedly facing losses of almost $2 billion as a result of a failed investment strategy that made it one of the biggest shareholders in two collapsed US banks and another that’s been caught up in the crisis (expected losses of 8.9 billion kronor and 3.2 billion kronor in Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank, respectively).

The scale of the losses has become clearer after the private pension group sold all of its First Republic Bank stake at a loss of 7.5 billion kronor ($728 million), according to Chief Executive Officer Magnus Billing.

“Obviously it’s a big failure for us as an investor,” Billing said last week.

“We need to learn something from that and take actions based on the lessons learned.”

Richard Werner, Economics Professor and Author of "Princes of the Yen," and Michelle Makori, Editor-in-Chief and Lead Anchor at Kitco News, discuss the Federal Reserve's FedNow instant payments system, and whether it will be used to usher in Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs), digital tokens issued and controlled by central banks. Werner explains what CBDCs are, and warns that they will be used to bring about 'totalitarian' control and a surveillance economy. He also proposes that the recent banking crisis and consolidation of banks could be used as an excuse to bring about CBDCs, and suggests political solutions that might prevent CBDCs from being implemented.

In the last few months, Chicago squatters have taken over the homes of two residents in the same neighborhood after the elderly homeowners died and left the homes to family members.

Darthula Young said this week that her deceased mother’s property in the Chatham neighborhood of Chicago was taken over by a man she described as a “professional squatter” with a long criminal record who changed the locks and has racked up a $1,300 water bill that she is on the hook for.
