I figured a lot of the things I wanna talk about are fairly mundane and cannot fit into any topic at all so I'll make this thread for the mundane things in life no one can pinpoint and make a thread with.
You can talk about anything in this thread that you don't feel making a thread over

How is the education level in Russia? It seems to be a trend on imageboards for people to promote studying there but there must be something happening in the background I assume.
That being said, I don't think studying there can't be as bad taking into account institutions tend to insert useless subjects involving social sciences on universities here. After finishing my current studies I would like to get into studying something related to computer science there, possibly robotics, maths or nanotechnology if only to see what could happen.

 >>/48057/
> How is the education level in Russia?

I can't answer this question completely because I had no education except Russian one, so can't compare. It is very diverse, from relatively good to completely bad. There are "big" universities with long history like MGU, MFTI, MIFI etc, some "medium" ones (also with history but not so famous), plenty of small ones that mostly take your money. Big ones may be very different depending on department. I've studied in big one and can say that it was relatively difficult, but some people from other faculties had easy mode for all 5 years.

Russian high education has some specific that foreigners wouldn't understand. For example, most of men go to university not for education but to avoid conscription (especially in past, when it was 2 years). There is also some specifics from Soviet time, when USSR overproduced engineers and higher education became some kind of necessity for average person, even if he don't know anything after university. There are plenty of jokes about vacancies of janitors that have university education as requirement. These things lead to situation when average student go to university not for education but just for diploma, so university staff also don't care too much about education in this circumstances. Although it all depends on you. If you want to learn something, you will.

I don't really know how different is education of foreigners though. Our group had 3 foreigners from Uzbekistan, they were sent by some industrial company that payed for their education. They didn't study anything and in the end they decided to stay in Russia, tricking that company to "forgot" that they had contract (I guess they've just bribed someone). Only thing I remember about them is that they were ok with drinking beer with us because "Allah wouldn't see us here" (c). There were also completely foreign groups (from Vietnam or Cambodia, don't know) who didn't know Russian and were rarely seen.

> It seems to be a trend on imageboards

I don't think that it is good advice.

> institutions tend to insert useless subjects involving social sciences on universities here.

This happens here too. For example, we (metallurgical engineers) had course of Russian language (lol), course of Philosophy (where first words of professor literally were "you all dirt and shit, I don't want to see all of you"), oversized math course that is completely unrelated to our profession etc.

> computer science

Pretty weak in any Russian university. Math can be good though, but pretty complex.

 >>/48057/
> How is the education level in Russia?
I'd assume varying level as everywhere. How proficient will you be on a field depends on yourself what you are willing to learn besides they give you on universities. There is a false assumption that universities give you a working knowledge on a field you can do a job, accomplish a work. They could give you a foundation, or a set of information which makes you familiar with concepts, which then helps you learn your actual job when you found one.
You yourself have to seek out the sources of knowledge, and acquire that knowledge, and do practical things to be a master of the thing that makes you stand out from the crowd of mediocre students and makes others - professors, people working in that industry - interested in you, and help you with your carrier by providing opportunities.
You have to have an entrepreneurial/adventurous mindset to move your arse and actually do something, participate in things and put yourself close to opportunities which you can recognize and exploit. Otherwise doesn't matter what university you are student of.
Or have rich, influential parents with connections, who secure a career for you.
> trend on imageboards for people to promote studying there
I did not notice this.
Do you think it is a good idea to listen anonymous people on imageboards (beside this board ofc, we only give good advis, based on legit information)?

 >>/48057/ >>/48060/
> institutions tend to insert useless subjects involving social sciences on universities here.
> This happens here too
Yeah, filler subjects are everywhere. Sometimes (frequently) they are politically motivated, sometimes just because they have to fill the curriculum, and they have to work with the professors available, who work on certain fields. Sometimes both.

 >>/48057/
> computer science there, possibly robotics, maths or nanotechnology
Try Imperial College in London for example (assuming you are a burger who wants to study abroad). I heard they are good in those fields.

 >>/48064/
About filler subjects, I used to think the same but now I wonder.
I studied computer science and I had philosophy and some social thing science and I kind of enjoyed it. Its like it was engaging different part of your brain, teachers weren't harsh on us, so we could relax a bit there while still gaining some knowledge. Not directly related to computer science ofc but might be still useful (since as an engineer you're probably still going to be dealing with other people), and even if this isn't the case it might be helping you grow as a person in other areas. People do philosophy all the time since everyone nowadays needs to have opinion on everything, so might as well get some education to do it slightly better. Even my proffessors of purely technical subjects would do that, like my algorithm teacher lecturing us that yeah we should ban people from driving once we get automated cars good enough since it kills less people and therefore it is moral thing to do.
I think the idea is, and I can get behind it, that people with higher education should be above the ordinary men and not just a specialised worker in a company. Therefore this education should include broader topics, to sort of make you more into this renessaince man. I think it'd be beneficial if both students and their teachers didn't think about those subjects as fillers.

so im prolly preaching to the choir here, but kohl has been completely and totally overrun by pedos. i have reason to suspect that it is being done purposefully, either as a way to disrupt /int/, entrap unproxied/naive bernds who cant into clearing their cache, and plant CP in their temporary files, and/or to use /int/ as a wall of noise, and bernds themselves, as a way to distract from their own exchanging of such content. im leaning towards the last one tbh hence why the offer of simply making a new board dedicated to such content. i think these bernds with nothing to hide, and no threat model nor intention of viewing such degeneracy, are at risk. i believe this is being cultivated purposefully so as to surround their gaggle of degenerates with low-hanging fruit who may be stupid enough to accidentally click on something, or unaware that when viewing a page with a bunch of thumbnails of child models, all those thumbnails get downloaded by your browser.

i gave a reasonable list of demands that i feel are not too extreme, and limit no ones free speech other than the freedom to endanger naive bernds and plant CP on their computers unknowingly and even gave a provision where proxies/tor are not to be banned, but it was not enough. the mods are 100% complicit in it, and allow it, and worse, encourage it. they feel that pedoposting improves the quality of the board via keeping keins and ledditors out. they feel that removing suggestively posed, scantily clad children pics means turning the joint into a reddit-tier hugbox but again, i suspect their motives are more that of self preservation, as even the most unaware of bernds has heard that kohl is run by pedos. this, even though such innocent content like candydoll webms is certainly enough for some bernd in a more conservative cunt to be fucked over hard and have his life ruined if found in his cache

ive been quietly harboring suspicions of this sort of activity for a while, but have been biting my tongue so as to not cause another mass exodus over nothing. but this is not nothing. these fucks are doing this intentionally and at this point, im certain of it. in the past few days, i heard enough other bernds exclaim similar theories about how kohl is nothing more than a fed honeypot even that dergeneral was forced to 86 the old kc serb in order to cause an exodus to a more thoroughly controlled new site, or that the owners have been co-opted/blackmailed into setting one up, and also that the use of a, now fast-moving, /int/ is being used to cover for their smut dealings.

even when asking the mods to be transparent and make a clear definitive statement on their personal moderative tendencies on such content, and to post this warning on /int/ and warn these naive bernds of the risk they face by posting there, ive been met with deflectionary responses, and weak-ass limp-dicked argumentative tactics to which i am utterly immune, as well as a distinct lack of action. they want this, and it couldnt be more clear. but worse, they want the deception. as such, i suspect foul play of some sort
idk, im really worried about the safety of the dozens of bernds who post there on a daily basis without proxy, and without clearing their caches constantly. i love all you guys a whole lot and id hate to see anyones lives get fuckt because some random pedonigger had to bump his shitty thread full of candydoll webms and pics of naked preteens to the first page, and some poor sap who didnt know any better refreshed the first page while it happened. ive seen this tactic used on other imageboards countless times and against countless communities, and with all the commotion, i felt the need to speak up about it.

Mods finally cleaned up the pedo spam, which greatly improved the board for a few days but caused an enormous amount of pedo butthurt, as obviously "free speech" entitles them to post nonce shit wherever they want.
Anyway, they are now using an extension to attach CP to other files.

Sorry, I forgot to attach the screenshot of the thread.
Anyway, I guess this is just a warning to anyone not to download anything from there. I guess they could have been using other tools to do this before but if so it wasn't in an obviously organised way like this.

 >>/49540/
That Australian Bernd sees it clearly.
Pedos = terrorists. Then they try to take the moral high ground with referring to freedom of speech, and when they get it, they make everything cp, and they inject every thread with their pedo content.
Also your 5.7MB screenshot is highly suspicious. I took screenshots of longer threads with lower filesize, in png.

Thanks for bumping.

I reread what I wrote and I'm going one step further about the asking stuff and the concentration of the thought.
In case of health, the mindset, a healthy spirit is important. Some of the illnesses (some people claim all, but I don't believe that) can be traced back to psychological causes, in general to stress (which can be caused by great many things). Furthermore a positive outlook can help in getting well even if the illness/injury is entirely physical (like a broken arm). So praying for health, believing in god's help, and having a hope can go beyond a simple placebo effect. Maybe miracle healings can be thanked for this too.

Being grateful.
What does this mean to Bernd? Does it end with not reciprocating? Can one be really one without the act of giving back? How about towards God? What would be "returning the favor" towards him? Could be even perceive the good things happening to us as acts of God, without blaming said God for the bad?

Wow, if you go by that Australia is the richest nation on earth. I know it's only what the minimum wage is not what the average wage in general would be but still.

The problem is that they are fundamentally different countries and different people with different economies and geopolitical considerations. Russia has always been poor and it probably always will be, the war does not matter. Likewise, Germany is a strong industrial country in the centre of Europe, yes that meant historically that she was threatened by everybody but due to the EU she is on good terms with her neighbours and so she is able to focus on trade and do that well.

 >>/47070/
You can't measure things in totalitarian shitholes if you outside. Minimal salary here is normal salary and $200 is a middle class.
> Russia has always been poor and it probably always will be

Yes, but only small amount of ppl know that it's SUCH poor.

 >>/47069/
Wait a moment. Hungarian poster. Is that true? Is Hungary really that poor? What is the cost of living in Hungary like? I had assumed that because it was in the EU it would not be that poor and the cost of living could not be that different due to the free borders and free trade.

I would interview the people and get all the info that you can beforehand. Because people will call you out on anything you ask online and ask for the proofs

THE FATE OF EMPIRES and SEARCH FOR SURVIVAL Sir John Glubb

An increase in the influence of women in
public life has often been associated with na-
tional decline. The later Romans complained
that, although Rome ruled the world, women
ruled Rome. In the tenth century, a similar
tendency was observable in the Arab Empire,
the women demanding admission to the
professions hitherto monopolised by men.
‘What,’ wrote the contemporary historian,
Ibn Bessam, ‘have the professions of clerk,
tax-collector or preacher to do with women?
These occupations have always been limited
to men alone.’ Many women practised law,
while others obtained posts as university
professors. There was an agitation for the
appointment of female judges, which,
however, does not appear to have succeeded.
Soon after this period, government and
public order collapsed, and foreign invaders
overran the country. The resulting increase
in confusion and violence made it unsafe for
women to move unescorted in the streets,
with the result that this feminist movement
collapsed.

Instead of making mixed babies with an ethnic woman, consider making her pregnant with your sperm and donated eggs of your own race. Mixed kids will contribute to extinction of racial purity and they might not develop a proper ethnic identity, becoming some woke "anti-racist" genocidists.

ITT: we explore small boards to find cool stuff and for curiosity's sake and then report on our findings.

My search area consists of non-porn 8chan boards with a poster count in the 10-100 range, but other boards are also welcome.

How do conversations proceed? Which memes are appreciated? Is any OC produced? What kinds of threads are made? What are the board's collective opinions on its subject matter? What is its relationship to other boards? What is the userbase's ideology and outlook? How is the moderation? These are some of the questions that can be answered.

I'll start with /doomer/. At 80 posters it's second on the list, just behind /ausneets/ with 84. The subject matter and the name are one and the same.

Most threads belong in one of three categories:

-Aesthetics threads on topics such as somber art, music and architecture. Art thread had this peculiar picture. The first page houses a good thread on brutalism, though it got derailed into a conversation about women. Even the board's CSS has this feeling.
-Sincere expressions of how posters are nihilistic, feel they've fucked up in life and dislike the people around them. Often start with greentext personal experiences. Drugs and family relations are common themes.
-Venting against society at large.

There's a lot of hate against people, but not much between individual posters. Ideologies span the whole ecosystem of online radicalism, with anarchists, fascists, primitivists and the like.

I'll post more findings later.

The parts of the Bible he was using was a creation story which as is common for creation stories does not have much basis in reality, it's like making an argument that all humans are Japanese and descented from gods because the Nihon Shoki says we are all the children of the first emperor who himself is a descendents of the goddess Amateresu.
Yes I know the Romans thought them in Judea, that is what I am referring two. Rome won, there are other wars Israel has fought as well and some of those they lost.

The genealogy of the Bible reflects reality surprisingly well. It separates races, ethnicities, language groups, along a family tree. In fact most likely this Biblical view gave the basis of how history was put together by historians.
Tying an ethnicity to a particular person is also realistic, tribes were build upon blood relations, while state formations break these links, they still one component of the ethnicity.

They are fictional father figures of people personified to represent those people but they don't actually reflect on the real origins of the peoples themselves.
For example, Canaan is the father of the Canaanites but he is also the father of Heth who is the father of the Hittites.
The Hittites and the Canaanites and in fact the Hitties and anybody in that region have very little if anything in common as the Hittites are an Indo-European people. As an Indo-European people they would not be ancestors of Noah nor would they have any kind of common ancestors with any of the people in the levant.

 >>/49214/
> For example, Canaan is the father of the Canaanites but he is also the father of Heth who is the father of the Hittites.

Maybe another person shared the same name with him?

It was some conflict with Lebanon. Can't remember the exact one
